  1. Stubble is part of the complexion options rather than the facial hair options.
  2. Aw, but I like Aric. The romance story arc for him feels so natural.
  3. I didn't see it in the patch notes. I guess it just falls under "miscellaneous item fixes"?
  4. That's true, but... I think it's pretty open to how you want your character's backstory to read. I can definitely see the Sith taking in young children on Korriban in order to instill the Sith Code into them from a young age. The Sith Warrior and Sith Inquisitor are both clearly adult or at least late-teens when they arrive on Korriban, however. There's not really an indication of what is "normal."
  5. The Legacy abilities aren't about what's best damage-wise or gameplay-wise or whatever. You can only use them during the 1 minute your Heroic Moment is active anyway. They're flavor, passed down from one character to another as part of your Legacy. They're supposed to be iconic of the class they represent, which Dirty Kick certainly is. It definitely encompasses the Smuggler's comedic and somewhat raunchy demeanor.
  6. Definitely a Smuggler. They get the best dialogue in the entire game.
  7. I agree, I would definitely prefer it if the player characters weren't the ONLY ones who could get anything done. Every time you get to a planet, you solve a few issues and then leave with your faction's victory practically guaranteed. It would be nice if the PCs played smaller roles, especially in an MMO, where it's harder to ignore the fact that you aren't the one and only true savior of the galaxy that seems to be such a popular trope in Bioware games. But I guess more people just want to feel special and important.
  8. I had to rename three characters of mine. I didn't want to go with adding apostrophes or accent marks or anything, so I just changed them completely. Jurian -> Citran Rhelri -> Kerensa Xeeha -> Vesina I was pretty lucky, I wasn't especially attached to any of those names, but I was sort of hoping to name my eventual Smuggler Citran.
  9. I couldn't even finish the dailies on my first 50. It was just kind of depressing that I'd gotten to the end of the game to do these pointless quests over and over again.
  10. Khem for the win. My only complaint about him is that he tends to stand so his giant hulking shoulders get in the way of whatever I'm trying to click on.
  11. There were silver lightsaber crystals in KotOR 2. They were just incredibly rare.
  12. But if you have characters on separate servers before the merge, they won't be deleted, you can still play all 13-16 of them once they're all on the high-pop server. You just can't make new characters unless you have less than 12 on one server.
  13. This guy is right, I'm afraid. I want to experience all the class quests, but the shared planet quests just get so grating after the fourth time through.
  14. Short answer: No. Long answer: Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. That is not how the laws of thermodynamics work.
  15. My Assassin and Sage are sisters who have been separated for years, so they'd want to track each other down. They would, of course, instantly get into a lightsaber duel.
  16. I've seen a handful of typos and grammatical errors here and there. Ones like that make me wince.
  17. I'm reasonably certain Bioware refuses to deviate from the "pallette-swapped humans" because they need player characters that can animate all the facial expressions/gestures correctly. Therefore, ones that have eyebrows, human-shaped mouths/lips, nothing rearranged into weird places. Alien NPCs that don't fit into this formula have a reduced range of emotes that they use as compared to the range of expressions/emotes used by PCs over the course of the story. Not only that, but (as mentioned earlier) they need player characters that fit into one of the four body types for each gender so BW doesn't have to redo every single armor model to fit a Hutt or something ridiculous. Of course, this still leaves a good variety of species that they can expand into-- Torgruta and Cathar fit well into the parameters, for instance.
  18. The odd thing is that before 1.2 you could fly directly to a party member's class quest and join them! I don't know why they changed this, it just makes it way more inconvenient when you want to watch your friend's cutscene or you need help with a particularly difficult boss. They left the class-specific areas on your galaxy map, too. When a party member is in one, it shows up, but you can't fly there unless you're catching a ride in your friend's ship.
  19. The order of planets you go to is mostly the same (Taris/Balmorra are switched, and obviously the starter and capital planets are different), but the quests on each planet are all completely different. It's fun if you've been playing one faction for a while.
  20. My bounty hunter is my favorite character, and I'm only on Nar Shaddaa. It's just great to be able to go "Screw all this noise, I don't care about your Sith or your Empire, I just want your money."
  21. This is just silly. I don't think it would look cool at all, either, just unwieldly.
  22. Am I the only one who was disappointed with the Kira romance? I just looked it up to check if I had triggered it or not. (Apparently I haven't, since the starting Flirt requires the Knight to be waaaay more forward than my awkward-around-females Guardian could possibly be.) But... seriously, the way it starts is this? Kira: The Force makes me all tingly. Knight: Let's bone. Kira: Okay. That's just... sad. I really like Kira, too. I have a soft spot for sassy redheads. Just needed to rant about that. Feel free to continue discussing how awesome Vector is.
  23. Actually. I read a bit of a spoiler regarding that...
  24. Mandalorians are not a race, they are a culture.
