  1. Here are two quests on Korriban that got me puzzled. In the first quest Jailbreak, Inquisitor Urinth has asked you to free the captured jedi whos mind has imprinted with false information so he can deliver them to the jedi council. If you follow orders and do the quest(and set the jedi free without warning him) you will get dark side points for helping the empire in the war against the jedi. Second quest that you get soon after this one, Creeping Hunger, you meet hungry creature called Seh-run, and you are asked by Overseer Pritho to kill the beast since it is is feeding on the remains of the force sensiteve failed acolytes, and is afraid that it will turn on the Sith when it gets stronger. In this case if you help the Empire by killing the beast who is eating the force sensitive you are given light side point, as oposed to feedeing it and (probablly) turning it against the Empire where you get dark side pont.
  2. I really couldn't agree more with this. It all comes down to what type of jedi you want to play. I can imagine monk as someone said we should think of jedis as monks, who is roisterous, drinking, and womanizing but that would be one very unorthodox jedi, probbably frowned upon by the rest of the jedi community, and master would advise their padawans to avoid him... Bottom line is that the jedi code can be interpreted in many different ways... One more thing I am intrigued about, and I did ask this question several times, but people seems to think I'm trolling is, why would every flirt lead to relationship, and why would you develop feelings for every person with who you ahve been in relationship... Jedis are not prohibited from having relationships just from developing feelengs (just think about it, you didn't really love every girl you have been with, didn't you?)
  3. You know up until recently, I was rather mild in my attitude toward lightsaber colours. It bothered me, I didn't like it too much but I could bear the idea o few sith wearing blue lightsabers or jedis with reds, but since this weekend I'm really starting to have issues with this free for all colour crystals... I was doing heroics and flashpoint and in a certain point ALL of my party members, 2 sith sorcerors, and a Sith Marauder were waving blue lightsabers around (Marauder even had both of his lightsabers in blu no less)... It felt like i was doing quests with the freakin Jedi coucil!!! ... That is really kind of ******...Really, I mean really!? Some restriction is necessary either based on aligment or faction, I don't care I just don't want to have entire Sith party with blue lightsabers...
  4. Lightsaber is not just a weapon but also a symbol. Colour of a lightsaber represent ones philosophy, and approach to force and matters of life and death... Sith with a blue/green lightsaber and jedi with red one would look very odd. Can you imagine survivor(or his descendant) of a genocide wearing uniform or symbols of the people that comitted genocide? And both Sith and Jedis comintted acts of genocide against each other and in terms of perspective I find i t hard to belive that any side would carry the otheres symbols and lightsaber(and its colour) is a symbol as much as it is weapon...

  6. I alwayas thought jedis are more of the "casual" relationship material. You know, sory we had nice time, but I can't risk developing feelings for you, you know I might fall to the dark side, it is not you it is me, so I can't see you anymore, bye...
  7. Is there any way of being evil without being homicidal maniac, who goes on killing rapages every now and then? The only way of being evil as far as I can see it, is just go around and kill everybody even if that hurts your faction(I'm talking about sith here). Sometimes i get light side points for choosing options that will benefit the Empire as oposed to usually killing someone which would grant me the dark side point... Not really sure I get this alligment thing...
  8. While I can definitely understand why would jedi avoid love, commitment and relationship, how it could easily lead them to the dark side(not necessarily but likely), I couldn't help but ask myself... What is their opinion about more "casual" forms of relatioships if you undesrtand what I'm asking Since it is not relationship itself then can lure then to the darkside but rather emotions... so if there is no emotions, or at least no intense emotions there is no problem and danger, right?
  9. Same reason gunpowder weapons were used on a mass scale at certain point in history even though they weren't very effective. It takes much less time to train someone to shoot then it would take to train someone in any form of sword(any form of melee when i think about it) combat. It's just cost effective. And add to thet complications with construction of lightsaber etc... Now when i think of it, it really bothers me that I change lightsaebrs in the game way too often. Shouldn't a lightsaber be unique weapon that you created, highly personalized, and lasts for a lifetime?
  10. I play sith warrior, my brother playes jedi knight. We don't need too much imagnination to connect them in the way we really are. He likes to play Republic I like to play Empire, i think it's goiong to be funny when we create more characters, it's going to be one big disfunctional family
