Let me try and clear up a lot of confusion. 1. Complete Assault on Tython Solo 2. Complete Korriban Incursion Solo 3. Return to Beniko, she is bugged, you reset, it tells you to go do assault on Tython. You can no longer do the previous in Solo so you are stuck. Your only option now is to go to Rishi, talk to the stupid bird and skip the Prelude. You miss out on Manaan and Rakata Prime. This is 2 FP of around 1.25 lvls of experience. I am not as frustrated about the actual bug, as the amount of time I wasted on it, and the poor reply's by the CS Droids.

There is many things about the xpac I love, so I just chose to skip the prelude. If you seen the prelude, it isn't the end of the world, but still sucks. For me I missed out on 2 FP IIRC.

Oh, looking back, now I remember that is how it started for me too, no Beniko when going to progress.

I think I have sorta figured this out, but I am still bugged. I have completed Tython and Korriban, but because of an abandon/reset the quest guy Arkous is stuck at starting me all over at Tython. Since it has already been done in Solo I can't get it again. I believe My next step is to talk to Beniko in the Cantina to progress to Forged Alliance Part 2, but I can't get that part of the quest.

Same here. Tried Every step. Door is purple, I log into Assault on Tython and it is Tactical. I can not summon a combat support Droid. Support team gave me the steps in this thread that I had already tried. I tried again, same outcome. At the end of the day I will spend more time trying to get past Assault on Tython than all the time that it would normally take to lvl 55-60.

We are by no means an elite guild, but we do a fairly good job with all previous content. We are generally one of the earlier guilds to get it cleared. We have been hit with some of our core raiders missing a couple weeks due to RL, so we are not Min/Maxed Full 72's, I would say 75% there. I would say our guild is a great benchmark of a guild that should be capable of clearing a Nightmare Op with a lot of hard work and effort. We killed First boss first week, skipped DG's, and spent quite a bit of time on Operator. Second Week, We one shot first boss, skipped DG's, and spent the rest of the night on Operator. Our DPS on operator is not an issue, just silly mistakes, etc. 2nd night we go in and kill operator, and we have the mechanics to this fight pretty much down. We are now on Kephess, and it is pretty intense. My hope is we get it down tonight. I can assure you, even though a few people will be against it, next week we skip the DG's again. Some people's pride will get in the way and say man we can do it. Maybe, but why spend THAT MUCH time trying to kill it and get lucky in the process. Maybe in a week or two after we have more 75's in our gear. TL;DR The SECOND boss in an operation should be so difficult that only a extremely small portion of people are able to kill it, and even then it requires a bit of luck.

They did a full clear, which means more gear, which means this gets a bit easier.

Doesn't matter how many people raid it. It is part of the new content. What good is 6-8 content schedule if it comes out broken. Furthermore, this should be an easy fix. Just change enrage timer, say your sorry and call it a day.

This is refreshing to hear, as you where sounding way to elitist for a second. I enjoy the challenge of this NiM run, but DG are obviously over tuned.
