  1. I personally enjoyed the KotFE and KoTET content, and with Onslaught it was pretty nice to get various nods to past choices (best part was reclaiming my old Dark Council seat as an Inquisitor), but I feel they missed out on an opportunity with this. The Alliance is a neat concept and all, but it doesn't really have any power now aside from your charisma in keeping them all together. I'm heavily biased, but I main a Mandalorian Bounty Hunter, and there should have also been an option to have the Alliance and Mandalorians ally, with the Mandalorians a separate entity rather than be absorbed into the Alliance, (that may be a thing, I might have missed it), or join the Mandalorians entirely, with various Republic and Empire characters leaving entirely as well. Some of them I liked, while others have been collecting dust since I recruited them. It would also be pretty neat to see a few characters, if you spared them, also return to Zakuul to help rebuild, etc. As it stands though it could have led to some awesome storyline quests for a Mandalorian Bounty Hunter like rebuilding Clan Lok (Mandalore the Vindicated adopted you into his clan, and he was killed during the initial war against the Eternal Throne), and other Mandalorian characters like Torian and Akaavi could help in the rebuilding of your clan (as your new best friend Mandalore the Avenger made you the head of Clan Lok after dispatching those remnants on Onderon), as well as help you fully embrace your Mandalorian heritage, etc. This also gives Akaavi hope that maybe one day she can restore her clan as well, follow Mandalore as an independent Mandalorian (she has no love for the Empire), or remain a neutral Bounty Hunter. Mandalorians are honestly my favorite faction in Star Wars, and I feel it's a heavily missed opportunity to bring them more into the spotlight, even as a minor faction. For most of the game they're just kind of there in the background, and while the Raid on Darvannis Chapter of KotFE, the Shadow of Revan Flashpoint, and a few other Flashpoints were amazing, it left me wanting more. So it made me think that why make it just a war between the Republic and Empire, with the Alliance as a faltering third wheel? It could have been done where you also have the choice to join the Mandalorians as another option. They're pretty heavily stocked up after the raid on Darvannis, and a lot of them are thinking of the glory days of the Neo-Crusaders (from the wars mentioned in Kotor 1 and 2), which makes for internal intrigue as the more aggressive Clans seek to fight everyone, and you have to help Mandalore retain control of those Clans, or you could aid them secretly (keeping with the saboteur theme). This gives the Republic and Empire pause at the new emerging threat, and while they keep fighting each other, they anxiously watch the resurgent Mandalorian Clans rearm and grow stronger in the shadow of the Great War raging across the galaxy. Then enter you, the new leader of Clan Lok as per Mandalore's command, rebuilding it with dependable fighters and those willing to endure the tests and trials for an opportunity to become Mandalorian; maybe some old Alliance companions choose this instead of going to their old faction, as they have once again become disillusioned with either government, and since they know you to be a dependable and capable leader, side with you by becoming Mandalorian, etc. This is all of course, heavily dependent upon if you chose to become a Mandalorian with your Bounty Hunter. Like I said though, I'm heavily biased with this, but I feel that the Mandalorians were in the sidelines the entire time, even though they had some nice missions wrapped around them. It just seems odd that a Mandalorian Bounty Hunter would choose to once again side with the Empire, aid the Republic, or stay with a fracturing Alliance, when you just fought alongside fellow Mandalorians against the Eternal Empire, and the fact that you have an active and alive Mandalore leading various Clans. Why not side with her instead?
  2. Actually a neat line of dialogue between Valk and the SI where you mention that you would have liked to add Valk to your collection; and Valk replies that he would have liked the same.
  3. I think when it comes to the slavery aspect of the Empire being "evil" that people are forgetting this: SI storyline, you are a slave gifted in the Force, granted freedom (although still talked down to as a slave) and sent to train at Korriban. Much later you meet your apprentice (an alien), a captive of the Empire also able in the Force who was sent to Korriban to train. These events happen prior to Malgus and the reforms. There are alien servants in the Empire in some notable aspects, so while sure a majority of aliens/humans are subjugated, the Empire is at least willing to test them if they're deemed sufficient enough to do so. Also, if you want to look at it from a Republic side, think of Belsavis, where they took alien prisoners and pretty much pitted them against each other in gladiatorial contests to see which were more capable (See Project Noble Focus and the Cathar Prince Shange). From a neutral standpoint doing that is pretty messed up and violates all sorts of ideas that the Republic stands for. Not to derail the topic of the thread or anything, just something that caught my eye.
  4. Just want to start off by saying I've never done a clan/guild thing before so I'm not really sure what to expect out of them. I do hope to find one that doesn't do a lot of PVP, or if it does do PVP that it's a volunteer basis. I'm just not a fan of PVP in MMOs in general so I tend to avoid them like the plague. I'll partake in friendly duels with some friends I've made but that's about as far as I'll go with PVP. That being said I'm hoping to find a Mandalorian Guild for my Mandalorian Bounty Hunter; as I've always had an interest in the culture, history, way of life, etc. I generally have flexible hours but I'm mostly active in the afternoons to late evenings / early mornings EST. I've reached a zenith in things I've found to do as I'm waiting for new KoTFE content to come out, so I'm just wanting to try something new. Grinding Heroics and Star Fortresses get pretty stale after a while. Anyway that's pretty much the gist of it, if you need to know anything else just ask.
