fixed. deleted the "bitraider" folder, which forced a repair.

no matter what character I choose, or what chapter they are on, I can't get past the load screen! any advise? I can hear stuff going on, and can hear other players, but can't see anything but the character load screen.

Is there more than one vendor? I've noticed not all the cross-faction companions are on the vendor in the bazaar.

I would really like to be able to buy the customizations for all my companions. Even the "cross-faction" ones. Now that I have them, I would LOVE to be able to buy the customizations for them. (Or atleast let me buy them, and then get them to my cross-faction characters somehow.) Has this been discussed? Or potentially, maybe, hopefully on the way?

Ah, okay. I was wondering how you got back to Zakuul with Senya in Chapter VII. I guess one of the NPC's fix it then.

Was just wondering if anybody has NOT fixed that door on the gravestone in Chapter V. I have always fixed it, but was curious if anything is different if you do not fix it.

Has it been discussed, or is anything in the works about allowing us to access ALL of the companion customizations. Even for opposite faction companions received? I play an empire and would love to be able to customize my pub companions... and vice versa on my pub toons.

wow. after reading some of the responses in this game i now realize why tanks get away with the crap they get away with. i play a shadow as a tank in swtor. i have also end game tanked for quite a few other mmo's. i wanted to try something different, so i am currently playing a dps commando. i do not like to heal as i am just not that good at it. am i a tanking authority? no, i never claimed to be. i am however an experienced tank that does not mind offering a few suggestions to inexperienced tanks. why post here? i wanted to. no other reason. i did not want to post in the tanking forums, that simple. i understand i am able to, but did not want to. i believe it goes without question that a tank should go for the stronger mobs first. i did not realize this needed to be stated as i thought it was obvious. however, i am not "digitally lazy". i do not mind virtually running for a virtual 10 to 20 feet to get a mob that is hitting my healer. this is not unlike a person that is to lazy to move their finger a few inches to turn on their turn signal. the "waist of threat" comment made me giggle. like it is a limited resource, lol. prioritize your targets and go after them. as a tank, you should be doing enough threat without your taunt. taunt should be saved for when it is needed, not spammed just because it is off timer. for every hit the healer takes, he/she will gets closer to the point that they need to heal themselves, which removes attention from the rest of the group. call me stubborn, but as a tank, i reeeeally like my healers attention. i'm a bit greedy that way i guess. DawnAskham is correct. when i made the move to dps, i had to start relying on other tanks to tank for me. it gets a little old seeing the tank charge one mob in a group of 3-6 mobs, totally ignoring the others. then complaining that the dps failed to focus down his/her target and whining about not getting heals. all while failing to realize that the dps are trying to take care of the other mobs and the healer is trying to keep every up. thanks Noblis, it is nice to get positive feedback in addition to all the criticism. BlownSi, good and valid points. however, i was focusing on tanks and i think your points are for dps. well stated though!!!

1) you are a threat generator, dps are damage generators (unless you significantly outgear the dps, you will not out dps them) 2) if you join as a tank, then you are a tank, not dps 3) only dps focus on a single mob in multi-mob situations 4) your mere presence does not provide threat 5) hit the other mobs 6) your number one goal is to protect the healer, that's why you hit ALL the mobs and keep aggro on you from ALL of them 7) your number two goal is to protect the dps 8) los is an important and powerful tool... use it

open interface editor, click on the bar you want to change. in the window of the editor, you can scroll down for more options. there you can adjust the "alpha" or click the button "show background".

Thanks for the responses! I checked and she is still in guard stance. One of the responses mentioned the higher the level the more damage. That is the best explanation I've heard thus far. I just started Taris, so maybe. I'm 34, and the mobs are 32 though. Kinda sucks, but still having fun!
