your support team asked me to post it here. happened to me with my bounty hunter and with my sorcerer yesterday. basically when I reach lvl 50 and travel to the imp fleet YD-33 and Darth nurin spoil the last part of my class story though I was not in corellia yet!

the thing is that I got a mask which is plot connected. got it from the inquisitor story line and will be quite funny to use it along the missions.. but on the other hand besides the ugly circlet shaped masks the empire don't have any helmet which is not removing my hood.

might be sensible.. like if we are in heroic area we can summon up to X companions.. but if we leave the heroic area they are automatically unsummoned.. might solve a lot of problems due low populated servers.

I play sith sorcerer right now and when I wear a mask my hood (of the chest piece) is gone.. any chance it will be fixed so we can get some epic looking cutscenes?

what mission item and where? r we talking about the mission called "Little R and R" ? or something else?

PVP with the trooper is great not just because of the pure damage and healing abilities but because of the utilities.. for example.. the number of times I've stunned with grenade o huttball or pushed people over ledges into the abyss is uncountable.. can't wait to get some decent gear and try pvp again...

I know what you're talking about every boss fight with my bh started with "death from above" , bang, all the weak enemies are dead.. on the other hand as a commando AC I never use mortar.. allways a combination of my other skills.. works faster. oh.. got to taris and first few missions with dorne as npc (not companion yet)... damn! that's how an npc should be.. securing the scavengers base scene.. priceless..

just finished corucent (sorry for the typo). After flying in the tin can called mantis (BH) for 50 level suddenly I get the Thunderclap which is basically a flying space military base with everything you would expect from a military ship.. priceless. And I got to admit that the story and missions of the trooper are much better than most of the other classes.

I mostly play on empire side and my main is lvl 50 powertech (bounty hunter, dark side). and it is extremely weird to see all of the bad opinions regarding the trooper. On the republic side I've only played with the jedi knight for the "kotor 3" story but it's plain boring gameplay .. running and jumping to get into melee range is a pain. At any rate I've started the trooper yesterday and got to level 14 so far (finished ord mantell, pvp daily, "The Essle" and "Hammer Station" flashpoints. I've got to say that trooper simply rocks. plot wise.. the story is a good mix of me2 and "kill bill" wannabe. the companions (so far only got aric jorgan but I've spoiled my game and checked the wiki for the other companions) are totally bad ***. Finally a story which I can choose bad *** and nice friendly dialog options without light\dark side every second.. and dark side trooper (I'm light side) is not a psycho just a cold heart pro. Gameplay wise I'm a commando.. just at the start so not into any spec yet just boosted my aim X3. I must tell you that I'm kicking ***. on PVE with aric I can solo heroics + 2 no problem at all. on the first flashpoint I've steamrolled ahead of everyone. And the most hilarious part is pvp... there is nothing more funny than see level 50 sith running towards me while I walk backward so he can;t hit me.. stun him and rip him apart.. every warzone even on my low humble level of 14 I'm on the top 8 damage dealers and I'm on top 10 kills. Commando or trooper is like a mix between bounty hunter and the Imperial Agent.. Truly fun class. so any good dps skill spec anyone?

finished bh storyline today. Basically my biggest problem is that I'm on some uncrowded server and it's a major pain to pvp. getting gear is painful as well as GTN is kinda empty because the lack of people. I think I'll have no choice but to replace a server....

I've tried working with cybertech and for some reason I've got broke and lost nearly all of my money for the mats needed for crafting so I've decided to dump cybertech and take back slicing. Now I have slicing, scavenging and undeworld trading. with Gault I do underworld trading for companion gifts, beside the useless droid all of my companions have over 7K affection. Scavenging and slicing allow me during flashpoints and such to open new toutes or repair droids to fight for me etc but mostly lockboxes + recover mats from dead stuff. Using my 3 new skills + GTN I'm making loads of cash right now so I think I'll stick with them. anyway I've read somewhere that after finishing the story line of my quest I get a new mission on the imp fleet for dailies on belsavis etc which give pve gear tokens? so I've went to corellia (sorry for the typos if there are any) and I'm steamrolling that planet right now. About gear my server is kinda lame with the number of people online so the gtn is not very crowded with good high end gear to purchase I might play few warzones for pvp shield/implants/earpiece and I have 2 yellow matrix shards just need one more for the relic. got 2 blue or red as well can't remember which one for a second relic.

Wow thanks for the tips. actually never bothered with cyber-tech but I'll take your advice, tweak my skill tree and cyber-tech reveres engineering into the purple version. I'll be back with updated stats after that. Thanks.

As mentioned before, Race: Cybertech Class: Bounty Hunter / Powertech Tree: Shield Tech I'll focus on my character stats and not on my pets. stats: http://img802.imageshack.us/img802/6688/58822262.jpg Skills: http://img33.imageshack.us/img33/4715/61704219.jpg My gear is very devent all of it is moded with lvl 45+ most of it 48.. regarding skills I'm truly thinking to abandon cybertech for slicing and underworld tracking for bioanalasis (sorry for the typo). from what I remember all of the skills (scavanging, bioanalasis and slicing) allows special actions during flashpoints and slicing is good for cash.

I'll try to get the upgraded gear then maybe my gears of choice was of bad quality. anyway.. I mostly played with torian as I was the tank and he dps'd.

basicly I dunnot how to get a good cybertech schemetics, so it's kinda useless. all of my team is geared with modeable items. sterted a maradur and an IA both kicked *** in the pve and my maradur is kicking *** in pvp as well. Powertech seems kinda useless without dps at his side.

PVP here and there but the pvp armors for the bounty hunter looks ugly.. so ugly that I can't look upon them. then there is the flashpoint social grouping.. you don't have an available group eveytime so you solo here and there, on the last 4 planets I didn't finished even 1 heroic for example. I think I'll play with an Alt character.

just got to level 50 with my powertech which is my first level 50 character. since the moment I've hit 50 all of the pve quests (like class quests) are damn hard. for example on the tyrant ship the republic assault droid rip me apart in 3 seconds! and I've got some decent lvl 40+ gear and over 13K HPs. I feel really weak with my powertech shield tech build, couldn't even finish some of the normal lvl 40 missions (not heroic) on Voss without help. So.. what I can do to toughen up my char and make him bit stronger so I'll be able to solo missions like I did before? another issue is space combat.. I've got nearly full purple upgrades to my space ship and only lvl 5 beam generator. Also got shield boost and blaster boost modules. but the space missions are kinda hard for the last 15 levels, any tips? Btw.. just upgraded Cybertech\Scavenging\Underworld trading to 400 just to find out that they are completely useless. every gear I purchase is better then what I can craft. My Operative ALT have biochem and it's much more useful, what you think?
