  2. Continue to be depressed because Bioware aren't doing anything to fix APAC population issues. Then play some other game.
  3. Yeah it says something about a game when the "top" players are all the same few classes. Maybe if a few of the other classes got a look in the population wouldn't be diminishing so bad. If you built something like this for star wars, any marauder spec would 10 - 0 any DPS Merc or Sorc build. You can't judge this game based on 1v1 potential though, whats the point of even having pure healer specs and tank specs if you judge the best players on 1v1 Potential? Star Wars != Street Fighter.
  4. IMO server mergers won't fix this. The game is falling apart because there's nothing to do. Same old raids, same old warzones, same imbalanced classes** , same few guild premades. Bioware can merge our three servers but the slow bleed of people finding other things to do and better games to play will continue as long as there's nothing to do. My guild is primarily a PvE guild and I think its safe to say for us Nightmare Denova isn't something that gets the rest of the guys going "yeah I can't wait for that!!" quite the opposite, one of our main tanks was like "I cant be f#@%&d waiting around just for that" and quit. Some went back to WoW, some just quit and didn't say anything. This was the first week ever I logged on on a raid night and we didn't even have 8 to raid with - this was a guild that 8 weeks ago was farming Denova HM with 16 players every Wednesday. Personally Im just bored of the same old thing and only log on on raid night and to PvP on an alt. Bioware have no awareness of whats going on around them, all these competing games that came out, D3, GW2, Pandas! Bioware does nothing for so long then at long last they release a raid that drops one item per boss, has garbage itemisation and due to a bug all the crafters learned everything worth crafting in 2 weeks so now we don't have to do said boring raid content anymore to gear up. Its like they aren't even aware that there are like... other games and they aren't boring. Next patch is a new companion that people will have in 2 days, even though they dont need it because all there is to do is raid and PvP so why would you want a companion? 1 new warzone to mix in with all the old ones were already sick of and Nightmare Denova, an instance that if I ever see the inside of again will be too soon. <sarcasm> Where do I sign up?</sarcasm> **Don't even talk to me if you think this is balanced in PvP lol Terminus - Big Stinky
  5. Anyone have a Kotaku account? Perhaps we should try to get them to post a news item on our plight. Bioware sure don't listen to us paying customers but bad press might wake them up.
  6. I don't know about you guys but I won't be paying a cent beyond my subscription fee to have this fixed.
  7. Bump for justice. Even though I think merging 3 dying communities won't really fix it long term. There will still be nothing to do, no new content worth a damn and people will still be bored. When the single server thats left is just like any of the 3 we have now by say... Christmas at the latest then those left will be begging to transfer to a US server. Bioware don't care - if they did 68 pages of players who clearly do care might have yielded a response by now. Kind of sad seeing as all the people who are leaving Bioware are saying the fans QQ too much blah blah dragon age 2 and mass effect 3 ending. Now they are just a company that used to make good games. This silence just feels like resentment for our QQ from a company too arrogant to see they aren't as good as they once were.
  8. It seems like they left it too late. 10:30am AEDST on a Sunday and theres 6 people on the Imp fleet on Master Dar'Nala. For PvE there's nothing to do but level alts and PvP 95% of the week. Not even worth running TFB HM now because we learned most of the good mods and enhancements, its more time efficient to run HM Denova and RE everything for mats than run TFB to get horribly itemised gear you don't want anyway. But there's no point, nobody wants to get geared to run.... Nightmare Denova... Farmed that place for 3 months straight, nobody wants to see inside that buggy pile of crap again. Everyone is hanging to get the HK droid but lets face it, everyone will have it 72 hours after its released and be bored again. PvP is just the same people over and over again. No real rated to speak of, theres no need to do it anyway. They should have made the new mainhands require a rank just to get people playing. Whoever it is at Bioware/EA managing this game you have successfully killed it by basically not doing anything. You should have merged Oceanic when you merged everyone else but as it is now even if you do merge them you'll only save it for a few weeks. There really is nothing to do worth doing.   9. This. The only decent power surge one has high engurance and low strength. Even if I had 350 comms its strictly a downgrade for a rage jugg.

  11. This ^ Don't know if its intentional or one of the many stupid glitches in this game. Just telling you what I've seen. I've seen it happen with three Scoundrels, one Celestiny. Bacically they go into what looks like a seam in the door, completely disappear and cap the door without being visible, you can't see the player's reticule, cast bar or anything, they are inside the door somehow. Seen it happen twice with Celestiny. Once ages ago 4th August with another player named Pharmacy**. And another Scoundrel from Black Sun recently did it twice in one night, for some reason CS deleted my ticket about and I can't remember the name I'll ask a guildie and find out who it was, a few of us saw it. All the times I've seen it were on the right door in the first room of Voidstar. ** Yes I'm aware Community's legacy name is Pharmacy but this guy had it as his character name.
  12. I don't know if you guys noticed but they got rid of the shared cooldown on explosive dart and thermal detonator. Makes for some pretty nice burst.

  14. This is hillarious BTW. Apart from casting thermal detonator once and incindiary missile once or twice all you did was: -Flame Burst -Rocket Punch -Railshot -Rapid shots The only problem I see with your rotation is managing to stay awake. Why not drop thermal detonator all together and get 3% more Aim to dumb it down more and do more DPS
  15. Hey guys, I'm not sure how people are achieving numbers like 1900 but I sure would like to know. I put my entry in this thread here: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=414342 My toon has all 61 gear except for 2 rakata armorings in my belt and bracers (cant afford 2 mill credits each for the small upgrade and this is my offspec) This is the best I can squeeze out on a dummy without popping any relics or adrenals.   17. Im one of these Rage Juggers that can do 500k damage in Voidstar a warzone. I don't know how you think they can do it in a Huttball. Couldn't do it until about valor rank 85 though after full WH grind, then replace all mods with ones from gloves then replace all enhancements with ones from combat tech boots. Some things to point out: -Rage is the squishy tree - the only cooldowns we have are the ones that come from our advanced class selection. When focus fired we go down fater than a Marauder. -Most of the damage is AoE - it really doesn't mean much a lot of the time. -We are so squishy that most of the time we run in Soresu form to gimp that huge smash damage and survive a little bit more. -To get the kind of burst you are talking about we need to be right in the enemy line with 1 defensive cooldown and no vanish. -We are vulnerable to all the crowd control - we have unleash on a 2 min cooldown and thats it. Unstoppable is in the vengeance tree. -The best damage avoidance we have IMO is circle strafe - bads need to stop keyboard turning. We do much worse vs good players that know what they are doing.
  18. Rage definitely puts out bigger numbers but I'm not convinced its "better". I just can't enjoy the amount of crowd control that comes our way when Rage specced, Vengeance is definitely IMO far less frustrating for my playstyle if you like being in control of your character - I focus healers -> DPS -> Tanks and spam chilling scream and taunts on DPS. I pull respectable numbers if not the 500k you see some rage Juggers and Powertechs getting. I seem to get the same amount of medals and kills though...
  19. For the OP The Guardian/Jugg DPS is definitely viable. The last jugg in this thread: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=414342&page=5 is mine. 1430 DPS on an ops dummy over 3 minutes, with no Operative or Sorc buff, no vicious throw phase, no adrenals or power relics. Perfectly viable, even exceptional in some encounters. Still not all BH/Campaign geared.

  21. Yeah got rid ofall my accuracy enhancements for PvE tanking a little while ago. Glad I did.
  22. Stack power, as much as you can once you've got 30% crit and 75% surge. Having 400+ power is sooo noticable!
  23. Is there anyone still bothering to maintain 100% accuracy on their tanks? Running zero accuracy from itemisation on my campaign/BH geared Jugg and columi/rakata PT. Not really seeing any drawback to doing it either, having zero threat issues that can't be fixed with a taunt and able to take more hits. I'd love for a dev to explain why all the tanking gear has so much Accuracy, it seems completely pointless.
