I have given up on buying anymore cartel points with RL money. First off you get stuff your character can't use then you get copy's of stuff you already have. I have no need or want to pay for an emote that should already be in the game, not that I use them or have ever seen anyone else use them. Alot of the equipment is for the wrong sex and is bound to your character the second you open the pack. They entice you to buy points with real money in order to get cartel packs to maybe increase your reputation and get some cool stuff they should be able to make the packs so you don't waste your money. I know, no one said I had to by points I could wait 2yrs. getting 500 credits per month for my subscription to get one of those 24 packs. Unless there is another way to get cartel coins in mass they should.
1. Make it so you don't get equipment you or your companions can't use.
2. Make it so you get more credits for the money 40.00 US won't even buy the 24packs. We are talking 40.00 real bucks I have to work hard for that money let me get a little value.
3. Make it so you can at least trade equipment and items from cartel packs to all your characters on your account.
4. Make it so you can sell all cartel stuff to venders or on the GN. At the very least have it not be automatically bound to your character.
5. Make it so you don't get copy's of things you can only have one of, who wants one of my 3 sand speeders or 5 imperial holo banners or one of my 3 womprat pets or one of my 2 menacing emotes or one of my 3 minor exploration bonus . Oh that's right I couldn't give them away if I wanted. All I can do is trash them. I can't sell them even though they show a price when you try to sell one to a vendor. I can't trade them not even to one of my other characters. I would say 85% is a waste of money. Even if I was 10yrs. old and wanted a womprat pet. 85% would be useless items that do not enrich the gameplay the enviroment or the experience for me.
6. Don't give anymore jawa grams, banners, emotes, single type XP bonus, balls that bonk someone in the head,pets that are ugly useless and have no part in the game. Put all that crap in the really deep top secret womprat underware packs of 24 for 9 million coins. You can't even pet the ugly things. I mean how many womprats, slugs,bats, and bugs do you need. At least have cool ones like bobcats or mini ranchors and other bad as## pets that you could teach tricks. Heck to be able to say goodboy pat its head and get a growl back would be something.
In closing what are the game creators thinking lets make the game as frustrating as possible for thee adult players.
They have the money and might be willing to spend some of it, if it wasn't so much of a waiste. I bought the unlock for section X the unlock to get another droid companion for 600 pts. I didn't see anywhere that it was free to subscribers. Why was I able to buy something I should have already had unlocked at least a warning saying I already had the unlock . I see now that since 2.1 it is 300pts. and free to subscribers. So I wasted 600pts. bought with RL money. I will not be spending anymore money for points till it is worth the price and they make it harder for someone to mistakenly buy stuff they already have. I will just have to miss out on some aspects of the game.
