I have to start by saying that so far, I am thrilled by TOR. Fantastic game. Could use some polish, but it's excusable. However, I've run into a problem that has plagued me throughout my gaming 'career'- I can't decide what to play. If some benevolent and/or super-awesome fellow player could help me figure out a class (based on the preferences below), I would love them forever (in a totally non-creepy way): Preferred Role: DPS (First) or Healer (Second) Classes I've Enjoyed in Other Games: Hunter + Warlock (WoW), Cleric roles (Rift), Vanguard, Adept, and Engineer (Mass Effect [not sure if this really helps, but still... there's a chance]) PvE vs. PvP: Like both, but I'd have to go with PvE. Solo vs. Group: I'd enjoy endgame grouping, but otherwise solo Imp. vs. Rep. : I find myself leaning towards Republic, though I'd play either Importance of Story (1-10): 8 and 1/2 Hope this is enough info. I have always been a HUGE fan of everything Star Wars (best movie: The Empire Strikes Back. Say what thou will, trolls!), so when Bioware, one of my favorite storytelling developers, announced a Star Wars MMO, I immediately thought of playing the class that used the Force. Now that I have the game, I'm faced with a dillema- there are FOUR Force-users. I'll likely get around to all of them eventually, but for now, which has the strongest/best/most entertaining story-Warrior, Knight, Inquisitor, or Consular- and why?
