  1. Hey. Where does one go to end this mission? I did read an ancient thread from 2012 that if one has a friend join them, it ends. That's well and good for people who have friends playing the game, but is there a real fix? Thanks,
  2. I'm not into the USB device option. My wife has a Galaxy but we don't have telephone service to it, if she installed the deal, could I link that device to my account? It's really not that clear on the official website. Thanks for any help.
  3. Also, any time I try to hide behind a pillar he follows, so that doesn't work.
  4. Hello. I'm having trouble reading this thread. - What is a CD? - What does it mean to be 'dotted'? - What are these different types of Sith fighters that you all are talking about (immortal marauder etc.)? I'm a level 49 marauder and have not been able to get past this for months. I think I've blown like a hundred thousand credits on armor repairs. Clearly I need help but your codes confuse me. Thanks either way.
  5. Just made it through Attis Station. To those who answered, thanks, it was Force Lift that did the trick. I never would have thought of using what appears to be a healing spell offensively. Thanks again.
  6. O.k., I've been playing this for nearly a year (I decided not to plunk down the money for the 'founder' title) and I'm still confused by so much of this game. Everyone uses special terms like: cc mob (I presume that's not a literal word 'mob' but some anagram) aggro nuke AoE and so on. Bioware seems to be under the presumption that we've all been playing multiplayer games forever and didn't bother to explain such things as: Defense Chance Surge Power Presence or why a fighter character even bothers to carry a lightsabrer as the damages done by such a character a specified in the ability description. The parts of this game that make no sense that I list are not exhaustive; there's a lot more I don't get. Does anyone know of an actual, meaningful manual out there?
  7. P.s. thanks for any answers. If I seem tiffy, I'm just extraordinarily frustrated.
  8. "Because the main reason for Force lift is it takes the mob out of the fight" I thought it only worked on one target, not a mob? "Force Lift is a mez" What does 'mez' mean? I swear, this fight is as frustrating as that one that's got my Sith fighter stuck near the end, the Sehrun lookin' guy who I just cannot get past. They really should have put easy, normal and hard into this game.
  9. Also, why would one ever cast a healing spell (Force Lift) on an enemy?
  10. What is a 'silver one' etc? I'm level 40 and am extremely frustrated. Did Bioware ever make a manual for this game?
  11. Very much so, yes. There's chesty and then there's creepy. Yeah, I'm male but play female because it's third person and I'd rather be following a woman than a man for countless hours.
  12. I don't follow forums too closely at all so I don't know if this has been asked and answered but is anyone else bothered by how every female in the game, be she anorexic or normal, has massive, unnaturally massive breasts? Have the game designers considered randomizing cup size or making them more realistic?
  13. "RP stands for Role Play. Roleplaying is a way of playing the game where you pretend to be the character you are playing." Gah...argh...rassin' frassin'...why did my friends tell me to get on a PvP server when this exists?!? Thanks for your answers, it's been helpful. Now I wonder if I can transfer my characters from one server to another...probably not.
  14. Again, I understand that but I'm playing on a PvP server and have yet to do anything but fight computer made enemies. So I don't see a difference.
  15. Hey. I understand that PvP means 'player versus player' and PvE means 'player versus environment' but what does it mean in terms of game play? I've yet to find some griefer come killing me on the PvP server on which I was advised to start, which is frankly all I can think that PvP means, players can kill players. On the other hand, there is no death in this game...hmm... Once again, this is my first MMORPG, this information isn't on torhead and wasn't it nice of Bioware to make no effort towards a glossary or manual?
  16. Thank you all very, very much. I'm rolling now. Thanks again!
  17. Right mouse button? Weird. I never would have thought to try that. I'm non-plussed because I expected the interface to be more like KOTOR than not. This is definitely not KOTOR. Thanks.
  18. O.k., really stupid question but hey, where is the Attack key? I play on a PC. I've been through all the key bindings and I see nothing that says attack. Targeting an enemy doesn't do it. The Enter key doesn't do it. Help? I'm getting a little bored with running around and not interacting with anything. Thanks, and yeah, this is a stupid question but I need the help.
  19. Yes, first online game. I think it's only a title like this that could have drawn me to the dark side like this. Thanks for the link to the manual. Now I feel stupid for not finding it myself. I'll review it and make progress. Thing is that I'm one of those people who played each KOTOR so many times that I'm confused by the new classes and difference force powers. I was expecting more of a KOTOR 3, I suppose.
  20. Is there a manual anywhere? All I seem to be able to do is run around and die.
