HELL NO! Unless something changes and changes fast. I was all for this game, I mean, come on, we all are or we wouldn't be here. But tonight, I've just had enough. BW released a small update, my comp goes through everything, I log in.. And typical of ALL the patches/updates, the intro scene plays and all that jazz.. Everything has been reset, all my preferences and settings. FINE, wahtever, I can deal with that.. AGAIN (this happens after EVERY Patch). It loads....... Loads... O.k. done loading, oh not! After the loading screen another loading screen!!! Loads... Loads... I get into the game and graphics look like kitty barf.. Check out the settings, change everything back to the way I like it.. graphics still look unusually bad. But whatever, I can deal with that, I JUST WANT TO PLAY. SO I try... I Q up for a PvP match... EVERYTHING is unusually slow. the lag is nearly unbarable.... By this point I've sat at the comp for 20+ mins and i'm STILL WAITING to play.. Get into a match, only for that match to FINISH before I even Load in.. it loads me out.. Waiting.. Loading.. Waiting.. Loading.. Finally get out.. Still laggy as mollasses going up hill. Queue up again.. Loading.. Loading.. Loading.. OMG! I'm IN! And the match hasn't started yet!!! ....what? the match is going to close because only 4 people are on my team counting me...... oh, well I guess that's good since it's more like 3 people because whatever BW did has messed up the game SO SEVERELY that the game no longer functions the way it did when I last logged on.. W. T. F. Will I renew my subscription when it runs out??? NOT A CHANCE. Not if it keeps up like this, I wont waste another dime on a game that I can barely play and that instead of improving just has gotten worse and WORSE. And for the record.. I don't have a ****** comp. I have a pretty sweet lap top that at one point ran this game FINE, but with each update BW releases it's just gone down hill.

I've tried 3 different servers, both sides on each.. And some people I run into are decent, some are horrible,.. and some are really fun! Some are chatty, and some say nothing at all... It's all random. You can't base your opinion of a whole server of people because of one experience with one or 3 people. Like was mentioned before,.. just remember the names of the ones you don't want to party with, but also make sure to add friends when you run into someone who makes the social side of the game that much more entertaining. I have yet to cap a toon. I only just started playing about a month ago now. But I DO love to Q for PvP. Looking forward to doing it with some friends and guildies. I've had a lot of good games, and bad games. But the good definitely to not out number the bad. I do wait until about lvl 19 before I head in, just so I'm not completely decimated. Howver now and again I mix up my questing with a BG,. er.. WZ. LOOOOVEEE PvP! Can't wait to try out the 50 bracket! Even with the glitches (I do suffer from the FPS drops and lag most people seem to suffer as well), I still have fun. I'm optimistic that it's just going to keep getting better and better!

Thank you for this!! I'm hoping the FPS issues will be repaired soon.. I am no computer guru and all this code/virtual drives makes me nervous I will wreck something on my comp. But at least if it comes to a point where I can't stand the drops and lag,.. I can now follow your handy dandy instructions and do something about it! Thank you thank you thank you!!

I have to fully agree with this guys take on it. So far I have had a few bumps in the road of PvP in SW:TOR, but nothing that would make me stop playing. If anything it just makes me want to learn the intricacies of this game more so, to be better at it then the fellow next to me. THE ONLY thing I would change about the PVP in this game, has nothing to do with the pvp, but has everything to do with the group. The force group drop when someone Q's and enters a match and the other does not. I understand why it happens, but would be nice to stay partied with people even when they are PVPing and I'm playing the Galactic Market. Oh, Also,... I WOULD LOVE MORE WORLD PvP... But its still a very new game, and A LOT of fun really does depend on the server population. And I don't mean by how many people are on a server. I mean the TYPE of people. The right server with the right people goes a LOONNG way. If you aren't having fun, maybe try a different server? Or maybe you need still need to learn the game. No offence to anyone intended... I know there are bugs, but really, a lot of frustrated people out there that I've seen and spoken with, are simply frustrated because they didn't know something, or are USED to playing a certain way. And personally,.. I don't want no easy mode PvP like WoW. I want it to be hard. At least until I've learned my class well and know the ins and outs of the PvP maps. Just play and have fun! Communicate with people on your server. Set up pre-mades. It goes a loooonnnnggg way to making your time more fun.

Hi everyone! I've just got the game loaded and started playing a bit last night. This is my second MMO, but I haven't played any online game for ages!! (Having a kid will do that.) So excited to get back into the gaming community and make some new TOR friends! I'm starting off with a Twi'lek Sith Inquisitor. Looking forward to the Assassination class. Still learning the ropes, like I said, only played for a wee bit last night (maybe 40 mins). I'm on the Warriors,..of something Server (lol forgot), and my characters name is Cha'Zrini. Please feel free to msg me in game! Don't be surprised if I ask a lot of questions at the start though.. lol. I could use all the tips I can get! Also looking forward to some PvP action!!
