So you think someone can take me for a HM or NM ops?

Well . while i was lvling my Powertech , I understood that Mercenary is really better dps that PT , so I was really sad because of wasted time of level'ing the PT . So the question is , can PT be a dps on lvl 55? Can he do OPS? Should i stick to PT , or reroll as a Mercenary?
