  1. http://www.torstatus.net/ let the "statistics" speak for themselves
  2. I don't really know what to say. looks like BioWare deleted the fanboy's post because I accused him of being paid to write it, so I don't even have anyone to argue with anymore. if this game doesn't lack endgame content, it definitely lacks endgame fun, and people that aren't extremely naive will realize this upon reaching max level for themselves. not much else to say. gonna go read a book and at least educate myself since I can't have any fun in a videogame.
  3. poor wording. I was trying to say that we DIDN'T lose money upon purchasing the game, because it was a great single-player game.
  4. I didn't *just* hit level 50, I've been level 50 for a few days. what I meant to say is: "I recently hit level 50 and just realized this sucks"
  5. this makes me sad. not because all of us lost at least $60.00-$70.00 (this was a great single-player game), but because I was one of the people that had complete faith in this game, and reaching max level utterly obliterated all of that faith. this game is fantastic, until all of a sudden you're level 50 and it becomes a part-time job that you pay for. by no means am I a WoW fanboy (the present state of WoW disgusts me more than SWTOR), but max level in WoW was a whole new ballgame. I even had fun getting my fishing to max level while waiting for guild raids or PvP queues in vanilla. all I want to do in SWTOR is bang my head against the wall and wonder how anyone could ruin such a great idea for a game.
  6. it's a fraudulent charge because they billed me on 2/25 instead of 2/26, when my subscription was set to renew. there is nothing illegal about what I'm doing because had they charged me on 2/26, I would have been able to successfully cancel my subscription without my card being charged. however, upon explaining the situation to BioWare, BioWare told me "NO REFUNDS, LOL." I immediately explained the situation to my bank, and they told me the claims department would take care of it when they are open during the week. so, suck my $15.98 refund, BioWare. I'm not playing your game for another month just because you'd like to force me to.
  7. are you level 50? because I felt the "usefulness" of crafting swfitly diminish after level 40, as well as everything else I loved about this game.
  8. this disgusts me. up until max level, I thought this game was the cream of the crop. my only regret is not cancelling my subscription in time not be charged for the first month -- now I have to call my bank and ask them to dispute the charge to my account because I couldn't do it over the weekend. how embarrassing.
  9. and I want to know if I'm wearing a blindfold that prevents me from seeing all the "fun" things this game has to offer at level 50... or if this game just has no "fun" things to do at level 50. Here's what I know level 50 has to offer: - repetitive dailies (and weeklies, sarcastic "yay!") - repetitive PvP (and Illum, sarcastic "yay!") - repetitive ops (serious "umm?") if that's all there really is, my mistake for assuming an MMO was supposed to have a lot more depth than this at max level. sorry, BioWare, but I just don't find spamming "invite to ops" in general chat very entertaining. at all. whatsoever. and before the "you just hit level 50" people start telling me that I just hit level 50, my mistake for not being a naive fanboy.
  10. What did those of you who tried out the ME3 demo think? Personally, I thought it was very cool and I definitely can't wait for the release.
  11. And here's to you, Mrs. Skywalker Qui-gon loves you more than you will know, whoa whoa whoa... Force be with you, Mrs. Skywalker The council holds a place for those who pray Hey hey hey, hey hey hey /discuss
  12. unfortunately, yes... it really is that hard considering that it sucks to level the same basic class all over again, just to change my advanced class. I'm really thinking that I should probably just make a sith juggernaut instead of a jedi guardian...
  13. I really don't mind wearing a hood, considering my sentinel wears one too. I guess I'm going to go ahead and start levelling my guardian as a legacy character, we'll see how it goes.
  14. I guess we have different taste when it comes to armor... I hate most of the medium armor I've seen. I have the battle-instructor set, and it doesn't look bad but I would prefer to be able to just stuff some trooper armor with +str mods. (I'm also a synthweaver). regarding squishiness, it's not necessarily the squishiness which annoys me, but the fact that my role in a group is limited to dps. I want to be able to tank if I need to, not sit around hoping that someone needs dps in their group.
  15. hey guys, I recently started a jedi knight sentinel under the assumption that I would later be able to wear heavy armor. I've since realized that this is not the case, and although I am already level 30, I've decided to create a new jedi knight, and this time choose guardian. the main reason I originally rolled sentinel was because of dual light sabers, however I've come to realize that my displeasure with the sentinel's armor outweighs my love for dual light sabers. anyhow, what I would like from you guys is some input regarding my problem... should I continue levelling my sentinel (and potentially grow more displeased with the class) or should I go ahead with my fresh guardian? some things you should know: - my ultimate goal is to mod trooper armor with jedi mods - I would love to be able to tank AND dps rather than do just one - I don't want to be a ranged class - I know how to play my sentinel well, I just don't like the aesthetic aspects and the class role limitation. TL;DR: level 30 sentinel, reroll guardian? thanks guys! I look forward to hearing your insight.
