I really enjoy the skirmish type pvp of 2v3 and 4v4 type battles, but the WZs have turned into a mess, its rare i get an actual decent game now. If it isnt 6v12 and ends in 2 mins you have a speed hacker capping balls in seconds, people capping doors from the other side with no way to stop them, 3 people sitting in acid pits healing themselves all game to get a huge amount of healing (and half the people vote them as mvps?). Still havent tried illum yet but why would I since all i hear are bad things. The good games are a gem and i really enjoy them but they are so few and far between now. This games needs rateds or arena QUICK.

I can pull 300k on my level 39 sorc in a long voidstar or farming huttball, have seen mercs do it a few times too, i imagine 500k wont be an issue at 50.

Not sure how 50 WZs are but at level 39 with 39 valor ive found if I completely ignore objectives and just nuke the crap out of everything I see and top damage I will get a ton of MVP votes at the end, even if I never crossed the pit to the other teams side of the map. But when I get sick of losing I spec healing and pull 350k+ healing with 100k+ damage from tab dotting/snaring the other team, pick people up from no life to full while CC people off them, run with our ball carriers and DPS down theirs, keeping the entire team shielded as much as I can, pretty much working my *********** *** off 10 times harder then when Im a DPSer, I will maybe get 1 vote if Im lucky. Outheal the entire other team combined and finish 3rd in damage and no one notices, figured my name in green letters flying over their character 100 times a game would give them the hint but nope. Hopefully people at 50 have a little more sense.

Ive had over 12k i believe by guarding a turret the entire match.

Hitting esc stops the cut scene but not the speeder ride.

Its happening nearly every other score in premade games, it isnt hard to intentionly die to fire and pull it off.

Ive been grappled up there a few times with the ball but it always scored for me, not a fan of the instant death though, must be BWs way of not allowing "gy camping". A least they were looking out, with the amount of belly aching on this forum i cant imagine the amount of tears there would be over juggs killing people in the spawn room. And who says BW doesnt care about PvP...

Just had back-to-back games against 12 man teams, this needs fixed.

The only way rated wz is going to work is if they can get the casuals to play them, all the battlemasters thumping their chest dont realize they will have no one to fight if the average players dont participate, there has to be a bottom of the ladder and right now the casuals that are making it to 50 dont seem to be enjoying it so they are not participating in 50 pvp at the numbers BW needs them to. Myself i am only level 36 and a hardcore pvper, but i play other games along with a job a house and a woman. The only reason im playing this game is because wow is boring right now, after getting glad countless times and 3 seasons straight of RBG hero titles on alts there isnt much to do in wow right now but sell arena carries. I have no idea what it is at 50 in swtor yet but im not worried about fighting against a gear gap for a little while, that is expected, but the average player which is normally quite bad at PvP isnt enjoying it and they absolutely have to participate in order to make rateds work. If you guys are complaing about slow pops for random pug wz at 50 what do you think rateds are going to be? 2 hour qs to get a team 1000 rating below you?

I think the leveling is fine, at first i was doing all the quests and soon found the mobs gray to me, the story was interesting but now that im level 32 i find myself slamming spacebar through the side quests and just not doing most of them. I wish there was some sort of flashpoint finder system, havent ran a flashpoint yet and not about to herd cats and try to create a group when ive never been in it. I dont even know what flashpoints are available at my level. No instrustion manual made the first few levels somewhat a pain as well. I feel like im missing so much of the game because i just dont know what is in it. Im a pvper so ive been WZing to valor cap for my level then working on the class quest which involves tedious run here run there run there and get no exp for it. The quests are much more involved then the wow kill 10 boars kind of grind but after 20 levels of listening to random NPCs talk about their problems it felt like i was running around and listening more than actually playing the game. So far im enjoying it but now i just want to hit 50 already, sick of staring at loading screens.

Was in a lowbie wz yesterday that i swore had 10 players while we had 6, the guys i was playing with thought i was crazy that the other team had that many but i was sitting back healing and counting. Next game we get into our team had 10 players on it... Everyone was shocked and easily rolled the other team and they seemed to be down to 6 players. Thought it could be a bug where the matchmaking system was stacking one team but an exploit seems more reasonable since it happened two games in a row.

There is definately something going on and my spell rotations feel much slower. Sorc is my only toon and im just a level 31 gladiator that keybinds everything and doesnt watch cds or my spells icons because i play off of feel, years of gladiator mage play in WoW has taught me to do this (you know in your head when blink and cone of cold are back up). Forgive me for not knowing the spell names, but for example: before the patch i could do a small filler rotation of instant lighting -> channel lightning -> instant+proc dot -> dot -> and go right back to instant lighting, now i find myself mashing that instant lighting bind at the end of my rotation and its not there when it used to be. Half second maybe or a little less until i can cast it. I thought i was lagging at first but reseting my internet didnt fix it. I also noticed death field is really really slow to give the target on the ground as well, i used to be able to drop the target on the ground half way through a channel lightning cast and cast death field right as my channel ended, now it is taking a good long second to drop the target icon, you wouldnt notice this OP since you are a healer but the issue seems somewhat related. There is serious delay with our spells that wasnt there a few days ago. It may be subtle at times but it really adds up over the course of a fight.

Lol at the people saying it was aoe. I did the same thing on my level 10 merc yesterday, similar situtation too where the team had 5 healers and crap dps so nothing ever died, certainly wasnt skillful or OP, simply hugging a pillar and spamming the heatless auto attack with instant missle woven in. This game is hard.

Just got the game yesterday and made a jedi as my first toon, started playing and noticed the whole faction looks like hippys in hobo blankets. Made it to level 8 and whoa i upgrade from brown to brown! Sweet a new hobo blanket in a slightly darker shade of crap! Ok ok its just starter gear it must get better yeah, but then i see a level 50 running around and was shocked to see they wear hobo blankets too!? Except with coffee stains and some flanel patches sewn on? Right then and there i decided to try sith, made it to level 8 on my sith and i already look like a bad *** in a black leather robe with red and gray accents. It may be superficial to want my character to look cool but there is no contest on which side the art department favors. So now i have two level 8s and i can either roll around in the dirt looking like boxcar willy while throwing pebbles at people like some hobo or i can rock black on black leather and shoot lightning? Yeah thats a tough choice. Sorry jedi but youre getting deleted.
