I think the reason we haven't seen major changes to the merc despite the constant QQs about the class being garbage in PVP is 1.)BW feels the class is fine the way it is based on it's pve performance. 2.)They don't know how to fix the class but are working on it. (if that's the case then just say something BW but you won't will you.) 3.)They have thrown in the towel on the Merc AC and are hoping that everyone with a merc rerolls and goes away.

ROFL. Yah bro I guess all the thousands of threads on how the commando/merc AC is completely ****ed in PVP must be totally wrong right? No they arent. I play a merc myself valor rank 90 and I can tell you that pvping as Arsenal is a death sentence in any WZ. As soon as the other team sees me shooting tracers, I'm like a *********** magnet to marauders/juggs/assassin lol. Dont get me wrong I still do on average 300-350k damage in a WZ so our damage is there, we just have no utility and no survivability outside our crappy shield. And before anyone says, you just have to pick your spots or you dont know how to position yourself in a WZ thats why you get targeted. Nope. Wen I run with my guild I make sure to stay behind the lines and make it as hard as possible for the opposite team to get me but I swear, Mercs just have a knack for attracting unwanted attention. I recall one match in a Void star where I had a Sentinel and a Shadow literally run past my healer and the rest of my guildies just to get to me. The thing with Mercs is that when we are left alone we can absolutely shred the enemy but then again the same thing can be said about Gunslingers and Snipers, except they are uninteruptable and cant be charged, which gives them an edge over any arsenal merc.

I guess I meant as far as saving the game. Obviously being a hero in your own story isnt cutting it with subs. But imagine if players could choose to play as Vader? I dont know. Just saying this game doesnt really appeal to the old star wars fans who grew up with Vader, Luke and even Mace.

Only people that are saying this are what I call WoW babies. Those are players that grew up with WoW and try to compare it's content with swtors even though WoW has been out for what 8 years now? Yah that is the reason I really really despise WoW players and that is why I think this game is dead because of former WoW players.

Well would it? I think the biggest mistake EA/BW and George made were not making this game take place during the time of the Skywalkers. I hate to say this but the reason swtor has failed miserably is because no one can relate with the characters. If I were the lead develaper or even if I were George, I'd make damn sure that this game would take place during the time of the Skywalkers because I mean who doesnt want to play as darth vader, yoda, Senator Palpatine, Princess Amidalea or even as Anakin Skywalker (the good dude not the bad one). The sadder thing is that I think I could have made this game better and I dont even have experience I have a BA and going for my MBA real soon and I think i'm pretty smart guy. So come on guys, BW/EA/George lets get this game fixed.

Sup everyone so ive been leveling a sage mostly through WZs since i've done the whole PVE leveling three times already. This time around i've purchased all the WZ XP Legacy buffs and basically plant myself in a WZ while i'm watching football. I make sure to get at least 1 medal before though but after that I just sit their afking. Some of my guildies have told me that's how they leveled their alts mostly, but I just wanted to make this wasnt considered an exploit of any kind. Opinions?

Lead designer's first priority should be to fix Mercs. Plain and simple. After that, maybe introduce arenas.

Not sure if this is a troll, a casual/noob, or if this is just another learn to play issue. You my friend have got me stumped.

Was speaking with my guildies over skype last night while waiting for the stupid RWZ ques to pop and we were talking about how quickly this game has died down. One of my guildies said what probably happened is this game attracted alot of the "casual" players from WoW and once they started playing this game they realized that it wasnt very easy to obtain gear and was way to "grindy" as compared to WoW and thus bailed out causing the huge implosion that i'm sure every server felt (going from full or heavy to light in a month etc) Sadly, I think this is exactly what happened to this game and that is why is nearly dead. What do you guys think?
