  1. I loved the little Vector scene in 6.1, and am even more delighted to see all the killik things in the Alderaan stronghold! I've done the killik mound achievement to put hives all over the castle grounds, happily headcanoning that cipher nine bent the entire machinery of imperial intelligence to aquire the castle for the purpose of letting Vectors decimated nest rebuild where she and Vector can protect them
  2. I am so happy with the Vector scene! The previous reunion was so sad and broken and angsty. It was pure bliss to see him look and sound like himself again now, and I was delighted for my Agent to have a little break with her bug husband inbetween the politics. Absolutely worth the years subscription <3 Hoping for my Knight to get something similar with Scourge, I assume the "let's go for a walk" leading to nothing was a bug rather than intentional. And now I suppose I shall go look for the fabled Alderaan stronghold. Sounds like a perfect place for Vector and Cipher Nine and their killik family. (Darth Rivix can come along too, I suspect he and Vector have something in common.)
  3. Seconded - I never thought I'd get another Vector scene after the minimal reunion, so happy to have been wrong
  4. VECTOR! That alone is worth the years subscription
  5. My main confusion right now is that amplifiers are for different situations. Some help crafting, some flashpoints, some PvP... Am I supposed to keep my inventory filled with gear with different amplifiers and change gesr whenever i switch from PvE to crafting to PvP? If so I desperately want something like the outfit designer where I can change from one set to the other at a click, and without keeping my inventory full of otherwise identical gear.
  6. Yes, please let us turn it off in strongholds at least, ruins immersion totally. (I have spent a small fortune on Rishi banners so I can hide most of them from sight by placing objects close enough to the walls that icons end behind banners)
  7. Agree with all, it was lovely to see Krovos and Koth again. And get an aknowledgment of saving Ranken Little things like that does make it feel like choices matter. Though I too would have loved to have some nod to the old LIs. Starting to think I made the wrong choice to keep Vector and Quinn around instead of "updating" to Theron and Lana.
  8. The thought of playing through kotfe/et even one more time makes me want to claw my eyes out. If I can play 6.0 without subjecting myself to that dull nightmare again I will stay around and see if there is any story worth following or any worthy replacements for all the lost companions. If not I wont. I am very sad about all the companions I lost when I foolishly started the first kotfe chapter with several toons, but its just not worth the slog to get them back. Especially not as pod people. I have many fond memories of SWTOR, especially that first year playing as an OP healer/dps hybrid operative with Orbital Strike. After that was taken away and ops got drastically nerfed combat wasnt that much fun anymore. So I turned to RP, but my rp guild died with that bizarre traitorous Theron plotline which caused half the guild to quit and the other half to finally follow them over to their new MMO. The last half year or so Ive done nothing much beyond logging on once a month to spend my cartel coins. I had a brief moment of fun when Vector finally returned, but that lasted all of 2 minutes. And then he was pod person like the rest. Sigh. Thanks for the memories, I guess.
  9. I have waited so long for the returned companions, but after realizing I'd have to do every single KOTFE/KOTET chapter for all 8 classes (144 chapters or something?) for the complete set I gave up the hope of seeing them again. Life is too short. I'd pay good money to skip KOTFE/KOTET and just get my companion return scenes. Preferably the working versions with moving lips etc, not the pod people version.
  10. My google foo has failed me. Is there still a way to get the "welcome to copero" posters as in-game decorations? I have them on my old server but not my currently active one.
  11. That was my first thought too. Please let there be a beach! And I'm rather fond of pleasant background sounds, too. Birds, water, trees...
  12. As if doing PvE as a tank wasn't slow enough already... Think I'll put my Guardian back in the box along with my bounty hunter and just stick to dps classes like everybody else. (Judging by what pops in flashpoints.)
  13. Ditto. It really bugs me that Vector doesn't move his face when clicked, no pun intended.
  14. I used to spend so much money on packs, but now it's only old stuff I already have and crafting stuff I have no use for. And I tried my first conquest in ages yesterday and got nothing but crafting stuff I have no use for. I sometimes miss the excitement of opening crates. Well, here's to hoping dathomir shaman goes on direct sale so I can finally use my accumulated subscriber credits for something.
  15. While I will happily throw money at the CM for shiny bling (some of us can play AND look fabulous simultaneously), I am puzzled at the suggestion that we get packs that most likely have nothing but old stuff in all 3 slots. I have played long enough that the chances of getting something new from a random selection of everything are low enough that it’s rather putting me off the thought of buying any packs. With direct sale coming up I guess I can’t even expect to get my money back by selling duplicates on the gtn.
  16. On the one hand -- sad my least favorite Agent companions got entire chapters and storylines decidated to them, while the actual LOVE INTEREST got 30 seconds worth of companion alert. (Is is my imagination, or do female love interests get a lot more content and attention than male ones?) On the other hand -- at least I didn't have to grind through the full Zakuul story to get him! I gave up entirely on Risha and Androniwhatsisface because I just couldn't bear another round of kotfe/kotet. And the romanced lines were really sweet, and probably as good as could be expected given the limits. (His voice was definitely different. Sounded like he had a cold or something. I am cheerfully assuming this is entirely IC because he is all stressed and rundown and sick from spending seven years or so losing everyone and everything he cared for. Poor baby. Time for some TLC.)
  17. I saw no clue anywhere that this was a lottery. Disappointed, wouldn't have wasted time and diskspace if I'd known that. Off to uninstall now, with a lingering feeling of ill-will towards Geforce and SWTOR.
  18. You stick to your kinks and I'll stick to mine So happy about Vectors return, even if the kotfe/kotet story has completely destroyed my original intention of having Nine and Vector pick up the work of the Star Cabal and continue influencing galactic events from the shadows through, ah, alternate diplomatic means.
  19. Yep, Vector return had better be fully voiced, or there will be riots!
  20. Hard to find positive threads in this mire of a forum, so I just wanted to put it up here that I really enjoyed Umbara, and am looking forward to the next installment of the story! This makes me want to stay involved, unlike the Tirall family saga of the last couple of years. The story was the right amount of heartbreaking, and I look forward to getting enough tokens for the stronghold. (Manaan was way too expensive, so really really glad to have a stronghold that will mostly cost me the time to gather tokens.) So, yes, keep up the good work
  21. I really enjoyed Umbara, it's good to get a more personal story back that affects the players character directly. Kotet/kotfe felt too much like watching somebody elses story from afar. So thumbs up from me, looking forward to the next installment.
  22. Very sad the one chiss armor (outlaw) is removed without becoming unlockable. I buy that one for all my chiss characters with CEDF background for rp purposes. Another nail in the coffin for me. Pvp lost all interest once the rewards you could work towards were removed in favor of random drops, I have done every bit of pve in the game, and now rp is getting hobbled too.
  23. So underwhelmed right now. Meet Quinn for the first time in 6 years, and....promptly ignore him? To talk to Elara? Then ignore him more for another hour to run off with Theron? And get several cutscenes showing Elara in that time, and nothing with Quinn? And in the end a chaste kiss and some "boyish admiration"? Where did the passion go? I get the feeling whoever wrote that scene was sighing and rolling their eyes at having to write romance, then gleefully got back to heavily ladling out accusations of treasons and conversations aimed at getting the outlander to say they don't trust Quinn. Not worth the wait, really. (On the plus side, now maybe I will be spared any more of Theron's angsty daddy issues. That and Boo!! were the two positives in the story.)
  24. The staff and black eyes are the most visible signs of his alien nature, which is part of what makes him so intriguing. Also, in my mind it fits his essentially diplomatic and calm nature -- game mechanic wise there may be no difference from a blaster, but I like to imagine he knocks people out rather than murdering them. I shudder at the thought of Vector pulling out a gun and blasting people. I also prefer martial arts movies over shootouts. There is beauty and artistry and elegance in one, brutal slaughter in the other.
