  1. Thank you! I'm sorry, perhaps I expressed my thoughts not too clearly, I didn't mean that I needed someone help me level up here in SWTOR, it's just one of the good memories that I have about having a companion in an MMO game. The key point is that the guy explained everything to me, answered my questions, advised me what to do, chatted with me about life, etc. He was already maxed out, so by helping me he didn't lose any valuable time, it was just a way for him to hang out in the game after already achieving everything. I would probably do the same for someone else in his place. I'm the kind of person who doesn't really enjoy the process of leveling up, in fact I barely made myself reach the maximum level at the time. I enjoy the result of it (i. e. being one of the most powerful players, being able to participate in the most intense events, etc.), but not the process. Besides, now I don't have nearly as much time/desire to play the game as I used to. So if I were to play from scratch, I would probably reach the maximum level only in a few years from now (if the game will still be alive by then). I have a legacy since its inception Might join a guild later on as well. All in all, thank you for your answers, but I'll try to get by somehow with my level 55 character from 2013. I just really wanted to find a game buddy, but I guess it's a random thing just like in real life.
  2. Hi guys. I've seen the topic of a dude stuck in 2018, but I've returned straight from 2013! What's more to it, I've barely played any video games since then, and I haven't been playing any MMO games all this time AT ALL. When I logged in, I recognized my character and some basic game mechanics, something just saved at the instinct level, but I forgot almost everything, not to mention the fact that a lot has been added to the game since. I'm at level 55, which was the max level back then, I have a crap load of possibly garbage items in my inventory and another crap load in the mail, but at this point I have no idea what might be useful and what not. Also I remember that even back in 2013 I was struggling to obtain any epic gear, so even for my level I don't have the best gear. Also have no idea where to start. Should I just continue with the new story or possibly participate in some flashpoints first? Also I believe that there was even no Conquest system when I last played, is there any point in parcticipating in them at this point? Are there any major changes (besides specialties) that I should be aware of? But much more than plain having those questioned answered I would love to find a game buddy I remember that when I was a teenager and played some WoW for a little while, there was a high level dude that helped me with everything, especially quick leveling up, gave me all sorts of tips, etc. To be honest, that's one of my best memories from my entire youth. So I'm wondering if there is any bored dude who would be willing to help me get on my feet after 8 years of complete absence from MMO games. We could also talk in Discord, etc. If anything, I'm a paid subscriber and I play on Darth Malgus for the Empire.
  3. Hi guys. I own the said keyboard since its launch, but a few years ago my adaptive keys stopped working whatsoever, and so did all the integrated apps. When I asked Razer, they told me that all of that functionality was set up through the servers, which they ultimately shut down. But at the same time I haven't found a single complaint about it on the internet, which is really weird, provided how much this keyboard was worth (and is still sold on eBay for even higher prices). Could anyone possessing the said keyboard confirm that their adaptive keys no longer work?
  4. Yes, it has the same launcher where you can log in using the same account. The only difference is that the launcher is not downloading anything, but Steam does.
  5. You should just install the Steam version. I'm currently in the process of it, it utilizes my whole 500 mbps channel.
  6. Oh wait, so it's free to intall Steam edition? I'm gonna do this right now.
  7. I love how I just blindly purchased a 6 months subscription without even trying to launch the game after about 8 years absence.
  8. Yes it will, lol. I just did the same, and now basically we're stuck at Main Assets 1 loop BEFORE being able to download all other assets, so now we have to wait until it gets fixed AND re-download the whole remaining game afterwards.
  9. Damn, I thought it was just me, it just kept looping on downloading Main Assets 1, so I decided to uninstall the whole game and re-download it from scratch, but the problem remained, and now I will have to download the whole game again even after this issue will get fixed. Just brilliant! And that's happening to me exactly when I decided to return for the first time since 2013 AND paid for 6 months subscription!
  10. So true. Just reached 50 and tried to do some hard mode FPs. So far no one is done. Each time I either was put to an uncooperative team which led to a major waste of time resulting in a failure, or to a team of arrogant nerds who kicked and insulted me just because I said a thing they considered as stupid. I wish them to burn in hell >.<
