Just to put you in the picture we are a bunch of players from Tomb of Freedon Nadd and have now moved over to The Red Eclipse. We have known one another for a awhile now and have been around since launch. We are very knowledgeable of the game and its content. We are currently running 8 man operations on hard mode and are looking for more members to join, us not only for Ops and Flashpoints but for social events too. There is also a guild website and TS3 server available. Although! Take note that we are all working adults that play this game on a casual basis (with the frequent binge now and then). I agree with you on possibly leaving but I will not be forced to purchase my way to another server when BioWare know of our situation and are taking advantage of it.

I know exactly what your saying xberry but my guild is a democracy and if the player want something as a majority then we do that. I think once the promotion does start there will be a discussion about moving server but I can't see BioWare leaving a dead server behind. I think if most of the remaining players take to moving their characters and leave just a few behind it would be unfair so they must offer a move. I guess from what you have said, you and your guild will be taking the first chance to leave. Its just a pity that BioWare puts us in this position with no information regarding their plans. Obviously this is a money making scheme in my opinion, the last squeeze before server merge.

First things first. Guild merges are a difficult thing to do. Why? There are guild asset to be left behind and ranks that have been gain to be worried about. Although with this server getting really quiet there is a huge benefit and that bringing folk together so we can raid, pvp and do events etc. <SithHappens> is looking for guilds to merge with us, now I say merge with us because our players like many others in different guilds like what we have going and that is understandable on everyone's part. Although, if you are looking for a guild with active players, good people and no non-sense then give it a think about joining us and we can discuss conditions about merging. <SithHappens> is looking for guilds to absorb as we all know the server is dwindling, you are right about what you are saying all in our corners but unfortunately with all the legacy regarding guild flagships, decorations, strongholds, ranks gained, items in the guild bank etc... its a lot to give up. Thanks for all your comments guys! I think I will level my alts as it turn out so I can at least have the legacy perks as I am positive they will be carried over to the expansion with at least some benefit.

Is there any point in leveling alts in this story mode experience boost? I mean when the new expansion come out you begin at level 60 so would that make all your time spent leveling your other characters useless? The benefits that I was aiming for was the legacy abilities and companion affections but if there is like an instant 60 button then I don't see much point. I know what some of you will say, that its basically for you to experience the story of each class but balls to that for the amount of unnecessary killing and traveling it consists of. Any advice on this would be great so I can decide if its worth committing to or now.

Hi Arny, To be completely honest the guildies have went a little quiet due to no recent updates on the game, Although! We do plan to return momentarily as the new patch is soon to be released and we do like to be prepared. I myself will be active again starting this week.
