  1. so this is more of a message to bioware... go ahead compile europe/usa and the rest to one maybe two servers seriously though there are so few people playing anymore its a joke. iv'e waited for class balance for years it wont ever happen on my servers if i play the off faction i don't need an AC to be top of the boards is a joke. there is no longer pvp that can be classified as anything other than lol's . its painful but the honest truth this game is dead

Wow so much fail... please do not post on the forums in operative side again you have not played the class and are likely some horrid pvp player who gets jumped by an operative from time to time in a wz and dies. the simple fact is not ONE of my operative abilities is better than other classes... my hardest hitting ability can be use once from behind in stealth and does comparable damage to a pt's 10 m spammable crits... heavy burst my ***...
  3. You sir are crazy... I play my sage/sorc i have 3 at 55 now almost exculivly in lightning tree. To compare the survivability of a sage/sorc to an operative is a very dull witted act. I will take a sage/sorc in any spec in a pvp match years before ill take my min/max operative with 20k more player kills and weeks of time playing. The operative is in such a **** state as it stands i'm still standing here scratching my head why bio doesn't just go ahead and delete the class they pretty much have...
  4. Haha woops totally jacked that up. I meant to say lack of survivability... Honestly if operatives could have the mara's type of stealth i would be stoked... hell i give mara's the stealth ability lord knows they already have just about every tool in the bag might as well give them one more... I just want to be able to stealth without getting popped out. I cannot tell you the number of times i would cleanse and pop stealth only to get hit by that magic explosive dart/sticky grenade 2-3 seconds after stealthing... If you play conc op much you know exactly what im talking about
  5. This would definitely be a step in the right direction however the class also has a high degree of survivability/ dmg breakers. I would not only Love to see backstab returned to the 6 second cooldown but also the operative given the mara/sent buff for invisibility... before the mara players freak out. It honestly should have been an operative skill think about it say after spec a 15 second cd alowing for 2-4 second sudo stealth your coming back visible but it allows the use of hidenstrike. More over it would allow the operative class to be able to move around the field for a couple seconds instead of the constant slow/snare/root/aoe pop there goes your best damage move and your stealth.... i can already see the mara/jugg/sniper's fireing up their flame guns.... ZOMG laid flat on the floor for 1.5 seconds every 15 seconds!!!! imo... yeah i dont have an issue with it how about it breaks on damage... just like an assassin's low strike.

Hey all I recently moved from Europe back to the states and had to reroll on a us server I ended up rolling a merc again as I love the class play style even if it's currently a bit sub par in the pvp relm. I have played both merc and commando to 55 with full pvp gear set playing all three spec's alot. While arsenal is rather effective in pvp (decent if not potentially while all the stars and planets align awesome bursting dps) I find the pyro spec a bit sub par. The fact that so many classes can simply absorb/shield/deflect and the one that makes me the most livid...cover block all damage from one of the main attacks (power shot) as its a base white attack drives me up the wall. Being said I propose while in cgc cylinder powershot and potentially rs be converted to tech attack to allowing the player to stack more for power/aim than having to over gear towards accuracy just to consistently hit the target. I find time after time the reason I revert back to arsenal is not so much the increased damage from hsm crits over rs (2k difference doesn't make that much of a change when i can pound out 2-3 rs in the time hsm is on cd) or even the 33% increase in unload; but more the fact that I WILL be able to hit almost everytime with tracer missile.
  7. Figured I would give a bit of an update since i first hit 55... I now have almost a fully tweaked set of gear, and found a scoundrel buddy who pvp's a fair bit <- last part is most important. I have to admit the class does surprisingly well when left alone im getting 8-9k crits only had a few 10K crits. However I still notice a massive class difference between certain classes (shadow/assassin the notorious god mode classes). the issue lies with half of the classes ingame being instant cast vs standing still for awhile. example scoundrel healers they are the best due to their instant healing abilities. But this class is designed to stand around fire move stand fire move its the play style of caster types so its understandable. I can say i would be excited if bioware added a more skill intensive aoe aspect to the giant gun class. ie gravround being a 2.5m wide column attack and demo round having a small aoe range like 2.5m

  9. So it has dawned upon me that I think swtor has gone about the Legacy gear in the wrong method. I came up with an idea that many in my guild would be jazzed if implemented and I hoped so for others. Feedback would be beneficial if not maybe thought about seriously by bioware. So as everyone knows the current state of legacy gear is well bland... you can buy pieces of legacy gear to be passed down within your "family tree" while the idea is Awesome and a mechanic I use to keep my like classes geared it definitely could use a revamp. My Idea was to add a type of legacy "kit" that can be added to a piece of gear turning it into legacy for your family tree members (keeping the tie between say trooper class line so mando/vanguard) I'm sure i'm not the only one who enjoys looking different from everyone else and spent a great amount of time and credits to do so. So why not pass my sweet gear in between my vanguard and commando? I'm not excited to get my great grandfathers old shoes... however the beautiful dining table is another story... Thanks for the read let me know how you all feel about a change like this. Good? Bad? indifferent?
  10. this is very plausible I simply notice my 40's merc seems to lay a lot more hurt on even 50's players than my 55 can against other 55's. It's likely the gear difference from non pvp gear at sub 55 to the ewh geared 55's. I'll keep after it i guess who knows maybe one day i wont get that sunken heart feeling when I get kicked in the back by an assassin. cheers; keep on firing hoping for the best!
  11. So I am wondering *** is going on at 55 I am recently hit 55 and cannot do a god damned thing is gear really that important with the new bolster? I cannot help but wonder how I went from top dps top heals in matches sub 55 to utter **** getting pwned by anything with a fluorescent light bulb and a chip on their shoulder to 3 shot a commando cause its funny. is there a way i can undo lvl 55? i would gladly toss all my gear down a drain to loose a lvl
  12. I must admit I love the way war zones are played now.. I am still level 50 until the 14th so I have not gotten to play with electro net at all. I do decent enough damage and the animations are epic; moreover I love the fact that the class can off heal very well * not the best but still a few heals is better than none when your healers are getting pounded on. The only change I have been mulling over in my mind is the cool down for power surge. It is now an awesome! ability i can pop off a tracer instantly and save one for a quick heal after getting smashed. However the number of melee classes wanting to face stomp me is insane I wish power surge was on a 30 second cool down so I would have a slightly better chance to survive. Just my thoughts...
