  1. I dont know what a <Sindol> is, so I cant say I agree or disagree for certain. Though I am inclined to beg to differ.
  2. I dont do solo ranked because I never que with the mentality "I might have to carry someone, and gosh gee golly I am super ok with that!" I dont expect much from people I dont know. Just pull your weight. The sad truth is more often than not, they dont. I prefer group ranked, and Im not afraid of a group ranked L. That said, there arent really too many others willing to take a beating. I agree with most of what Tequila said. Its hard to talk trash and stroke your e-bingbing when you get slaughtered in ranked. Much easier to stack an 8man squad vs some bad pugs and view yourselves as gods.
  3. We kill commanders on imp and pub side. We have pub toons we enjoy playing and mailing an item takes a few seconds. Occasionally we've gone out to find a commander, ended up competing for it with a larger group, and decided to defend the commander on our opposing faction toons. No waiting. No camping for hours. The challenge isnt in fighting a group while they attack a boss. The challenge is in facing a 25+ man group with only a team of 8 or 9. Sure, its situational, but if you can find a reason to glorify craft-spamming to "dominate" a planet, my reasons seem adequate to glorify defending a commander.
  4. Open world pvp / getting it for my own ship is reason enough for me.
  5. Before I reply further, I'd like to say I'm not attempting to diminish your win or disrespect it or anything. You all did what was required to win and earned it without attempting to cheese the system of steal some easy points, to the best of my knowledge. Personally, while I like the legacy titles, they are less than appealing to me because the way conquest is designed. Conquest rewards spending a ton of time in game and having a ton of members, even if those members are little more than hat racks irl. If the values of the points were adjusted to give more points for tougher content, it'd be ok with me. As it stands, it's a joke to me. I go to work every day in the real world. I don't need my gaming feeling like a job as well so my small guild can compete with some herpderp guilds with 300 members that haven't learned basic mechanics yet.
  6. What reason is there to be jealous? Conquest rewards numbers and participation with less than awesome rewards. If there was something skill based in it, there'd be a reason for the winners to be proud and the losers to be envious. But when the "grand prize" is a glorified participation trophy, it leaves little to be jealous over, to me at least. I wear long sleeve shirts under short sleeve shirts under long sleeve shirts.
  7. Send a tell or in-game mail to Screamo (imp) or Yauch (pub) if you are interested in buying a decorations bundle, or possibly just individual pieces. Currently, I can pick up 3 bundles, or 1 hypercrate. Dont be shy to blow all your money!
  8. Good fights all the way around. I cant remember all the dudes that came out because I wasnt stoned yet, but ty to all who showed and played. 2 mil prize went to Pete's team, with Hal's team picking up 2nd.
  9. Cool, I hope it works out. I'm not really sure how many are intending to show tomorrow. My work week has been brutal and I kinda dropped the ball a little on this.
  10. Whenever you want to play, come get at me or Maliwan (Get) from Nemesis! If we arent raiding we'll gladly have some fun with you and your team. We dont care so much whether we win or lose, we just like arenas.
  11. Oops I meant the 16th. Apologies for the typo. I would like to do it Friday, but work wont permit it for me, sorry =/
  12. Prize money subject to increase if enough teams buy in.
