  1. I think they should implement a no cannon zone around the cap ships. Turn the guns back on, and also that same no cannon zone should restock missiles and *possibly* heal your ship. The same game mechanics that MOST games with a spawn zone have, like LoL or Heroes of Newarth or DOTA. It's similarly laid out, so the same things should be implemented. On a side note, they could make another map where you need ~100-150 points, and play kills count as 1, while they add drones coming from the capital ships going across the map that count as 2 points. Eventually the drones would end up at the other's capital ship, getting destroyed. This would also prevent spawn camping. Killing other players would still be encouraged, as it would prevent those same players from killing drones. But obviously the team that takes over more of the map would benefit most. It'd be a very different game mode than what they have so far. I think it'd be fun.
  2. The major difference I'm advocating for is rewards for playing. Like Ship/Fleet Req. It's fairly clear that your kills effect how much you gain, and especially for new/mid level players going against vets with most/full upgrades, it's important to aquire as much Req. as possible. You are already given an assist when someone self destructs in such a manor. I'm wanting it to not be AS fruustrating for noobs or lower mid level players so they are not dicouraged to play. I know on my server, it can take a while to que in, and You could definitely tell when people began to loose interest. I'm attempting to address part of the reason they wouldn't be quing in and adding to the experience.
  3. I never said I lost sight of them, to the contrary, I usually watch the whole thing play out right in front of me. The time reference was an example, not a solid figure. Also, you do cause the death if you're the pursuer and they hit a wall/object. If you hadn't chased, shot, and nearly killed, they would still be flying trying to kill others.
  4. I wasn't talking about accidentally running into something from trying to run away. Players will be far away from everything, then veer off into a wall very intentionally. I was suggesting last shot on someone before a self destruct, within a given time frame. It's only the veteran players I've noticed this with, not the noobs. The noobs should be the most disoriented ones, but it's the players that tend to get the high kill counts that do this. I also suggested that in this scenario that an assist be weighted as a kill for req gain, in lue of getting a "kill".
  5. Been playing a lot of Galactic Starfighter lately, and noticed some habits of players.I have seen this a ton recently, people will know they are done for, and will self destruct to prevent another player from getting the kill in a chase. You get an assist, but I think it should count as a kill. This is mostly done by the higher level veteran players. I know I will end up with like ~14+ assists now, and 2-4 kills due to this. Reasons: - It artificially lowers players stats, and Requisition gain Qualifiers: - If you had hit them with ANYTHING (within the last, say, 5-7 seconds) or had a missile locked on and fired waiting to hit, and they self destruct, it should be a kill. An alternate way to deal with this might be to penalize a team with -1 point when above qualifier is met. Another alternate way is to make assists count the same as kills in req gain. Thoughts?
  6. I feel like they should offer those larger bundles on the website. Or Cartel Cards. I would love to be able to easily gift big chunks of CC to my friends for birthdays/holidays. Same goes with subscriptions. I would love to be able to do like on Amazon getting a digital key code to gift to my friends/family. I think this would also make it better for parents that buy their kids subscriptions, since most underagers won't have their own credit cards, and shouldn't have access to mommy or daddy's cards. Digital options for key codes and management of subscriptions for multiple accounts would be awesome just as much as adding Cartel Coins the same way. If we love the game, and want to pay, why are the developers holding us back?! Should have the same options available on the website to send to Character Names + server. Cartel should have $50 or $60 options, and bring back the $99 option I read about that was there for a bit in another thread. We love this game, help us support it better!

  8. I haven't seen this issue on Jung Ma of a ton of snipers camping on spawn. However, it has been a bit of a help to a team who is clearly mostly noobs vs vets. It does help balance the team if the bets are foolish enough to run that close in pursuit of a greedy kill. However to stop gunship camping, you could just have it so gunships railguns are disabled within a certain small radius of the capitol ship. Also, I feel that going back to spawn should be like League of Legends where it heals/restocks your ship when you are within this no railgun radius.
