I answer this one time to you, so enjoy. I don't normally feed forum trolls.

Theron is not stupid. He never was, and he still isn't. Suddenly writers of SWTOR lost their mind and decided to trash his character. It is bad writing. How about we stop pretending that Theron Shan is a real person who is responsible for anything, because he isn't. He is a fictional character, thus he can't be responsible for what he does. The people who write him are the responsible ones. They created him. Theron didn't do anything. Writers did.

Now that we got that cleared, we can go to them wanting to write some drama. That is well and all. Traitor-arc has plenty of it. In order to get the drama they seemed to want, they trashed Therons character and made him to be a total idiot. To accomplish that they had to create a story so stupid and so full of plot holes a kidergardener can see them without any effort. People can of course rationalise that story to their advantage (like you just did) because it servers their biases, but it is still irrational, illogical nonsense from beginning to the end. It is simply bad writing. You can show that plot to anyone who is a professional writer and they will agree with me.

People like you are the reason we lost Theron for good. You embraced the steaming pile of turd that is the Nathema-storyline, just to get rid of Theron. Your hateboners are now taken care of, I would assume, but still you can't stop bringing it up and gloating about it. Theron is not in your game anymore, so what do you care? To top of that, he is not in our game either. So it is a win/win for you, right?

Yet only people I really want to blame about all this are the writers of this travesty. They should've known better. They once created a very good character called Theron Shan. For some reason some of the writers decided it is time to throw Theron under the bus. Because Theron Shan is an imaginary character, just pixels, they could do whatever they wanted to do with him, and this is what they wanted.

They did the same to Quinn in my opinion. I know people had wanted to kill him. But by the time Quinn comes back in Iokath, it's been almost 7 years since the betrayal. You some way or another forgave him. Then you betray him and your faction by siding with the Republic. Since he's defending the Empire, you know, the thing he worships more than Sith Lords? You dub him a traitor again and kill him. (not YOU, but general you)

I call all players who want any companion to die, for any dumb reason, a troll. And not a very intelligent troll. Why? Because once Bioware caves into their desires, they then **** up the game for the rest of us. I want Quinn alive and well and still my husband. I want there to be more face time with Theron. But because they are now killable for really dumb *********** reasons, we may or may not get them in anything but letters or small bits here and there. I mean, where the hell is Koth? All of my Koth are still alive, but I haven't seen him since early-mid KOTET. I'm tired of players wanting companions dead. Not only that, but they gave us people to romance that I never wanted to. WHY AM I ABLE TO ROMANCE KHEM-VAL??? That is *********** gross. And Jaesa knows I married Quinn, why the hell is she suddenly hitting on me?

  2. Welcome to Tatooine. ON the left we have the sandpeople trying to fix the droids that run the servers, on the right we have the jawas with all the parts the sandpeople need. In the middle of our tour, we get to see the REAL story of what happened to Luke's uncle and aunt... I.M.P.S. - Cops Edition

    I admit, I lol'd. lol

  3. Quinn? yuck, all the cool kids have moved on to Skadge slash fics now.

Ugh. Skadge slash. I know girls coo over him, but it's bad enough Jaesa hit on me (I'm married, Jaesa!). I want more Quinn, can never get enough of him. Him and Doc melt my butter. I loved the Fem! JK's flirt when she first sees him "Talk, Talk, Talk (kiss him)" lol

  4. I RP all the time, but I keep it to myself and my companions. I try not to interfere with someone's game play (unless they do it first, screw that be the bigger person crap). But I don't go and bother anyone. I just rp me and my companion running around doing stuff. If I do heal same faction, I don't do it while someone is fighting or if I do, it's once and I don't do it again cause I know how hard it is for some, even now in 5.10.
  5. The issue with Koth was people didn't like someone who questioned them and had their own agenda- the hatred for him was worse than for Quinn. It's pure laziness when there are tiny things you can do, a cutscene snippet with the player character standing out looking at the horizon and their love interest comes up by their side, letters- silent support and using recycled lines.

But that's how real life is. You have people who agree with you, those who don't, those who don't care either way, those who like you and those who don't. Yeah, it sucks Dorne and Koth can leave, but it makes you think before going all BWAHAHAHAHAHA psychotic evil dark side for the *******s of it. I WANT my companions interacting with me.

If I was just here for yes men and doing nothing but raiding, flash points and pvp, I'd just take my fat *** back over to WoW.

  6. Agreed. The treatment that the poor guy has gotten irritates me. He's the one (well, two if you count Elara) companion who refuses to be a simple "yes man" and will stand up to you, and even defy you if you do things he doesn't agree with. I loved him for that and I had hoped that he'd continue to do it if he stayed around. I also wish that they'd give a few of the other companions more backbone.

Yeah, I'm still not thrilled how they handled Quinn. Yes, I understand I am big bad (good in this case as I'm light side 5 sw) Sith warrior and his 'lord', but ffs I forgave him literal and game YEARS ago. I even tell Vette when she mentions it when she comes back during KOTFE that I forgave him.

Does he remember? NOPE! I get the 'omg I was scared you no love me no more so I was a little ***** and hid from you'. What happened to my strong, intelligent Imperial Officer? Now, he's a whimp! I want my Vanilla Quinn back. Yes, he was respectful to my position of a Sith Lord, but dude, I'm also his wife. He doesn't have to snivel at me. Grr.

  7. Hi Guys

I used a player referral link and like most it was use my referral link and get X amounts of credits so I decided to use this player and messaged him he sent me his link and I then asked when do I get my credits so and he said when you use the link so I used the linked and when I come to ask about my credits to find that he had blocked me and I had no way to get my credits which I was promised.

Here are some screenshots for proof.

You should have just come here to the forums and clicked on someone's link in their sig box. We won't pay you, but you won't have to worry about our honesty or dishonesty. I never pay anyone for something they can do of their own accord for free. (Generally speaking) You either click my link, or you don't here on the forums.

Yes, he or she, shouldn't have said they'd pay you and then not do so, but still.

Also, that whole click the link while you're an active sub doesn't work. I tried using my husband's link when he was an active sub and it didn't do ****.

  8. Yeah, I LOVE how Theron or Lana interacts with you or you them when you're doing a mission, but what about the other dang romances? Not every single one of my characters romanced Theron or Lana.

I have romanced and renewed/kept the romance for: Doc, Quinn, Jorgan, Corso, Vector, Torian, Andronikos, Iresso on those characters, two have romanced Theron and that's it.

I LOVE Theron and Lana and I'm glad they are still working together and with you, whether they agree with everything you do or not, but come on Bioware. Give us some bones to be happy with.

  9. I'm glad they made Jaesa bisexual, but my Sith Warrior is married to Quinn and Jaesa (to me personally) came out of left field saying she loves me. I could understand during our Vanilla time together, but by Ossus she hasn't seen me for almost 8 years and suddenly spouts out love? Does no one in the galaxy know I'm already taken? The only time it's mentioned is during KOTFE, KOTET, or when you break up with Lana or Theron. Otherwise, everyone is so surprised. I thought I was this big to do person (I can see my JK having people be surprised she got married), but not everyone else. And especially not Jaesa who was on my ship when I married Quinn.

I think flags should be a tad more detailed. They are getting there and I enjoy that.

  10. +1 The 5.10 romance scene with Lana was awesome, so was the scene with LS Jaessa. A beautiful shot of the Odessen forest. I'd love to have scenes like this with all LI. If Bioware can't get the voice actors or it is too expansive maybe just show the PC and their LI sitting on a couch hugging it out when the next story - questgiver approaches them. Just to show they are still alive and indeed in a relationship. Add some ingame mails and voila we got some cheap LI content without paying all the VAs. Not a permanent solution, but at least more than nothing IMO.

Exactly. As I said earlier, I do love Theron and Lana, but I want my other romanced companions to show some proof their my husbands/wives not just I get them and that's that.

  11. I know not everyone is into companions, but can you PLEASE include scenes like you did with Jorgan and Torian into 6.0, but with ALL the current and potential love interests? I thought it was great having you want Theron to come with you in 5.10, can we get that for the other companions too? Not everyone romanced only Theron or Lana. It would be AWESOME. Especially since we just got back Jaesa, Doc and Nadia.

    Really really really want this.

  12. Thanks for the Rishi stronghold. I'm excited, I've wanted/begged for this for years.

I do hope you will make the property beachfront and a fair size, though maybe not so large as Yavin.

I hope you will consider placing lots of different sizes of hooks throughout, and a couple of things I've wanted in particular for years now, is to have small hooks on top of centerpiece hooks, just like you have for many of the large hooks. It's important to have those little hooks on top of the larger ones, so we can populate and add to the decos that fit those hooks.

Also, I would like it, if rugs were also allowed to be placed on walls, cause some, like the wampaa and red voss rugs would make stunning wall hangings. And there need to be more rug hooks per room, some in the center and some along the edges, so there is more versatility. Same with lighting.

Lots of palm trees and nice flora and vegetation and a nice beach are important. :D Please no more wasted areas like Yavin's front yard and cave. If you're going to make something as neat as a cave or grotto, please, put lots of hooks in it. :D

And hopefully there will be a package on sale in the market so we can get started. I have 7 strongholds now and an 8th at the moment, will be nothing but ugly basic furniture until I get more decorations. *is excited*

  13. Hey, 31 is not old! :p It's really stunning to think of how many years have passed for the characters though.

I am of the opinion that aging must be different in the SWTOR galaxy. Darth Marr was downright spry for someone in his mid-60s, and there are a bunch of characters that are in their 50s and 60s that are still formidable (Shae Vizla, Hylo, Gault, Satele, for instance).

Nah, one isn't old until the first grey hair and then you're ancient. I'm talking walkers, canes, all you can eat seniors night. :p

It just feels like my babies are old and crusty now since to them it's been 13 years. And I like to think that even though WE see black hair like nothing's changed, that Quinn and the others have a touch of grey. I don't know if they use hair dye in star wars land or not.

  14. Nathema is 3630 so it is actually 13 years after the class story begins. The class stories start in 3643 (remember the timeline is reversed because we're in BBY years): https://torcommunity.com/guides/game-basics/timeline

6 years for the class story - Ziost

    5 years in carbonite

2 years for KOTFE - Nathema. On Iokath Quinn says that it's been nearly 7 years since the Outlander disappeared, and on Nathema Lana confirms that Vinn Atrius disappeared six months ago (and he was in the end of KOTET).

Quinn's year of birth is given as 3680 (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Malavai_Quinn) so he's 50 at the end of Nathema.

Torian's year of birth is 3660 so he's only 17 when you meet him (!!!!) and he's 30 if he's still alive by the time you get to Nathema. This is why my female toons will never romance him. He's a baby. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Torian_Cadera#cite_note-Encyclopedia-0

Damn, Quinn's 50 now. He's using a lot of hair dye. :p My Sith Warrior was 18 when she met him, so he's 19 years older than her, so she's now 31. My poor baby is old now. :( lol

  15. Ok, new edit: This is exactly the problem. For anybody else with this problem do exactly what this comment says:

Place the holo quinn, then place the modern quinn in the llayer you want, then you can take the holo quinn back soo it dosnt bother you. The game take the decoration ''quinn'' as 1, soo you need to put the old quinn to have acces to the new Quinn. Big mistake from bioware, hope they fix it eventually, but meanwhile doing this you will be able to use the new Quinn in your stronghold. He will not be Holo anymore. But he will surely be **** anyway.

I was wondering about this since my Sith Warrior took her husband back on Iokath and I put him in my stronghold and he was all holographic. I thought it was because I had him out, but when I dismissed active Quinn, I still had the Holo. So, I'll go ahead and see if this works.

  16. I asked this question last year, because I knew that it had to be delt with. But the way it was done was more that a little lame, sorry to say.

The resolution of the Gravestone and the Eternal Fleet was, in a word, Dumb.

Come on now Scorpio was all over the Gravestone computer poking into every corner and she never found anything about this ship having the power it did or in being the legendary Zildrog? Really?

You also found this ship rusting in a swamp and spent, what would have to have been WEEKS repairing it just to make it fly and you never found anything about the full potential of this ship? Really?

Every time you use this ship it breaks, but all of a sudden this little Cruiser Class ship (not a Battle Ship as the Eternal Fleet ships were) has the power to TOTALLY destroy the ENTIRE Eternal Fleet with 3 SHOTS? Really? Is this really the LOGICAL end for the most powerful ship and fleet in the Galaxy? Or was it a poor attempt to fix a huge mistake in creating them in the first place.

I am sorry but this was the worst most poorly written culmination to the story I have ever seen. It was like, well I created this huge White Elephant and I will just pull stuff out of a hat to get rid of it because I have no idea how to fix this screwup and then call it a story. Really?

I enjoyed the KOT*E story line even if it was a little one sided, short, single minded, predictable and disjointed. But the final end of the Eternal Fleet and the Gravestone was lame. There was so much more that could have been done with this than a simple 20 second cut scene where the Gravestone fires 3, yes Three shots and COMPLETELY and utterly destroys the ENTIRE Eternal Fleet. Then Boom goes the Gravestone? That was your grand culmination to this entire 3 years of story? Really? The potential for this to have been a grand story full of combat, intrigue, action and adventure would have been Glorious. This alone could have been a whole new game expansion but no instead all we get is bang, bang, bang, boom and its over.....

Charles, I am sorry to say this but your story telling and story writing skills are unimaginative to say the least. Just because it has Star Wars attached to the name of the story does not make it a Star Wars story. The whole idea of the Eternal Fleet and the Gravestone was a giant problem from its inception and it termination was the worst part of the whole thing.

So is your next attempt going to be as unimaginative, poorly written, one sided, single minded, single storied and disjointed, AGAIN?

Or are you going to give us something that is truly Star Wars and not simply something with the Star Wars name on it and call it as such. Are you going go write a meaning full story that will give us the FULL meaning of the Star Wars genre? Will you write a story that truly is interesting? Something that tells a real Star Wars story and not some rambling line of trash that only has the name of Star Wars attached to it? A story that addressed the conflict between the power hungry side of the Empire, the holier than thou / political corruptness of the Republic and the pure goody goody / we are all powerful aspect of the Jedi?

I await your next endeavor to either wow us or what I expect to be another story that is lame, uninteresting, rambling, single minded and disjointed.

If it is the later than can we please have somebody else write this next story since it seems that Charles has lost his edge.

Yeah, I thought that ending was lame. If either the Gravestone or the fleet blew up, or malfunctioned, or Zildrog had the droids freak out on the fleet, eh, I could deal with that, but now we have the Alliance still. The Alliance itself didn't break up and go away or else we'd have seen them packing up in the background of the cutscene. But now we have all these extra companions (the ones not originally our class') and now what do we do? I know we're going back to Imp vs Pub, but how are we going to do so as still having an Alliance and members in it? I think they wrote themselves into a corner.

  17. I'd have liked it more if they hadn't swapped my love interest/changed my choices with Khem.

I did like the maps, though.

I think because of this, neither Zash nor Khem Val will be coming back as a companion. Basically, if you left Khem to rot, you had Zash and vice versa. I guess us Inquisitors have to be happy now with the generic Dashade we got from Yavin that everyone can get. When they kill off people, they usually do it to forget about them. Which is why I'm adamant that they don't forget about our companions and love interests, no matter if they were able to be killed or not. Not everyone killed Quinn or Torian, etc.

  18. I thought the idea behind these was great, but the execution in some cases left quite a bit to be desired. I have a hard time imagining Baras would be so easily fooled by a Gemini droid. In other cases, I don't think it makes sense for Jedi Masters like Sumalee or Kiwiks to risk killing countless people just to take out the Smuggler or Knight respectively.

Baras I could see as doing it because he felt slighted, even if he was dooped in the end, but Sumalee and Kiwiks had me scratching my head. And also Garza, didn't we send her to jail or something for **** she did on Rishi? (I can't remember the details since it's been a while). But overall, I do think they did pretty well with it. It was a nice surprise at the least.

  19. I think the reason why some of the movies aren't living up to their potential (according to some fans) is because the current world is changing, ie feminism, sjw, liberalism, conservatism, etc and Hollywood is reflecting on that. Which for normal movies wouldn't be a big deal, but some of the older (meaning born before 1977) fans and some of the younger ones too, like how the movies were from the 70s and 80s. And I think it could be that maybe Disney is trying too hard? I don't know. I have the dvd of TLJ but haven't seen it yet, and waiting for SOLO to come out on dvd before watching it. I don't do movies anymore because too expensive and I usually have to get up to potty way too much.
  20. It was touted over and over again...to the point of rhetoric...that choices matter. And, as it's been proven, they don't. The choices you've made while leveling your character....that character's story....will be changed to fit the whims of the studio. The problem is that by changing the past, it's no longer "your" character's story but someone else instead.

I think it's bugs more than intended. Only bug SO FAR *knocks on wood* that I came across was when my Inquisitor got Andronikos back and rekindled the romance. She never cheated on him or anything of the sort. The only other person she's slept with was Urtel from chapter 1 waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back before I even hooked up officially with Andronikos. Anyway, my bug was that I got the minor quest to break up with Theron. Well, kind of hard to break up with Theron, Lana or Koth, when you aren't dating any of them.

And I had some Rishi bugs where none of my Imperial characters got the romanced intro, but my Republic characters did and my agent got the intro where the only companion I had was Kaliyo. Otherwise, even with the bugs, my game flags are still working correctly and I get emails and dialogue that is correct. So as I said, I don't think the bugs are intended changes, just **** that happens.
