Except they screwed up the implementation of both loadouts and combat styles. In theory they both would have been amazing additions to the game but as with everything else in 7.0 they missed the mark by a mile. Cannot change loadouts in group finder content. Combat styles do not allow you to queue for all 3 jobs even though you technically have access to them. In fact ontop of not allowing you to queue for all 3 jobs they removed the ability to dual queue as heals and dps or tank and dps (Because reasons ) But sure keep on patting them on the back while they continue to run this game into the ground

You should be ashamed of yourself for thinking that this tiny little patch would be well received by the community. It is not an expansion. Lets be perfectly clear on that. Its too small to be considered an expansion and honestly I feel like you guys removed more stuff from the game than you added. -new itemization is a joke. 3 currencies required for upgrades? -combat styles and loadouts not able to be changed during queued content? (This is literally the reason we wanted this) -No mods in 7.0? You guys literally said 7.0 would open up build variability and instead we are stuck with this lol -No cartel weapons until 7.1 I mean people paid money for these weapons in many cases and they might as well be paper weights until you decide weapon outfitter is ready. Who approved this? Fire them. -Removal of certain skills. Again how does this improve build variability? Example: I main sorc heals and galvanizing cleanse was amazing. Ability to rez while moving or throw a instant infusion after a cleanse. It might not have been meta but it did have its uses. -Cannot queue for multiple jobs in group finder content anymore. With the introduction of combat styles I fully assumed that I would be able to queue for all 3 jobs on my main. Not only is this not the case you have REMOVED the ability to queue for dps and heals or dps and tank. I cannot even fathom why you would make this change. Already unsubbed and have no intention of coming back after this barring EXTREME reversions to these changes.

Also the loadout system? What is the point of it? You cant change loadout while queued for anything?! Isnt that the reason you would want to have loadouts? Another brain dead change that has me convinced that the devs do not actually play their own game. Did anyone on PTS point out how horrible this is? I mean they went on and on about how 7.0 would open up our build options when in reality the exact opposite seems to have happened. They gutted entire builds and removed set bonuses that were actually fine. Now everyone is using the same gear and people are stuck choosing between mobility or crowd control where we had access to both before. Reasoning? :confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

I am legitimately considering canceling my sub over this update. It feels HORRIBLE. 3 different currencies needed to upgrade? No level 80 mods? I thought this update was supposed to improve customization not hamper it. Literally everyone is using the exact same gear now On top of this crap I cant even use my cartel weapons until they add weapon outfitter in like what? 2 weeks? a month? Whoever thought it was OK to launch this "Expansion" without support for PAID cosmetic weapons should not have a job anymore. Absolutely pathetic update.

Personally havent been a raider since the first year of the game. I ran hard mode EC when that dropped and that was pretty much the end of raiding for me outside of a few story mode raids here and there. When 6.0 dropped I started just farming master mode flashpoints and that kind of became my thing. Not super hard but every once in a while you get a really bad group that actually makes it somewhat difficult. Additionally I could earn a decent amount of credits selling legendary embers. Im just starting 7.0 as of yesterday and I am honestly lost. I feel like all the good stuff from 6.0 was basically thrown in the trash in favor of whatever this current mess is. Do these devs even play their own game? I mean granted ive only been playing this update for like a day but it just feels horrible. I need 3 different currencies to upgrade my gear now? Why? What is the point of that?

Need a bit of clarification on this. I purchased shae vizla on my main. Trying to purchase her again for an alt but its telling me requirements not met. Can you only purchase these companions once per account? If so why cant I access the recruitment mission through alliance alerts or purchase from legacy window?

lol this was a pretty big necro post...topic is from ageeees ago. Very easy quest though. It always boggles my mind when people come on the forums complaining about quests being too hard. Especially class quests which are designed to be soloable. This is a slightly harder one but as long as you follow some simple rules you should be fine. 1. Make sure you are on the same level as the quest or higher. Why would you even attempt to do a quest that is 2+ levels higher than you? (Unless you follow the next rule) 2. Gear. If you are running around in green gear your doing it wrong. Very wrong. By the time your around level 18 you should be in blue gear. It just makes the leveling process go so much smoother. If your in orange/purple gear with the max ratings for your level you can easily take on quests that are 1-3 levels higher than you. 3. Know your class. Spec appropriately for soloing. 4. Medpacs and stims are your friend. Heroic moment is never a bad idea either.

Havent seen that one before...that really sucks. Hope that you put in a ticket to get your loot. Make sure everyone who was there submits one.

Make sure you hit the panel at the end. That triggers the reward. If you did that and still no reward then: Submit a ticket stating you did not receive your reward. Only work around right now.

I dont look at this as a positive. Some people really hate PvP. Its fine from 1-49 but the level 50 bracket is brutal if you dont have WH gear

Depends on what your doing. Operatives are pretty much useless in PvE for anything other than healing. However they do heal very well. If your looking for DPS for PvE your better off going for an assassin. Cant really speak on the PvP side of things. Seems to me you would be better off with an assassin there too though.

They did say they are never going to make this mistake again with future gear sets. Kinda sucks were stuck with it now though

Theres really no excuse for that kind of behavior. Its just common courtesy when your in ANY group reguardless of how crappy said loot might be. If its an upgrade for someone who NEEDS it you should never roll need against them for a companion. Just makes you look like a complete ***. Anyone ever rolled need on a piece of gear for a comp that I needed they would be instantly flamed. Vote kicked. And ignored. Now I agree that this thread is a tad unnecessary. It was only columi gear. @OP I think its against the forum rules to call anyone out specifically on these boards so you may want to edit your post.

They are pretty much on the same level DPS wise. However mercs have more utility than pts. Plus you get 2 blasters instead of one. Which is auto win in my book
