  1. Could work with Legacy actually.

    Eg.

    1x Empire Characters @ 55 = 15% XP Boost to Empire Characters

    2x Empire Characters @ 55 = 25% XP Boost to Empire Characters

    3x Empire Characters @ 55 = 50% XP Boost to Empire Characters

    You could employ a cap on the bonus at that point (+50%).

    Keep the Republic + Empire boosts seperate, that way it will only apply to people who have previously completed the areas.

    As some1 with 12 toons over 50

    /signed

  2. The only hearing sounds in front of you has come back I noticed since the latest patch 2.5.2 that I can only hear sounds that are right in front of you / camera as in just right f if I turn the camera the other way sound disappears or that person is standing behind you can't hear them speak

    Plz fix :rak_02:

  3. Am i the biggest tool ? or does nothing happen when i click the links ?

    I know its asking for alot but could explain to me like im 5 how to download the newest patch ? :)

    you can download the each for one at time by clicking on one link at a time and downloading them one by one or you can copy and paste them into a download manage like IDM, Jdownloader getright etc

  4. Title suggests I like the mystics that have their own starting planet quests from 1 to 10 on both factions they can even be the same quest except that the end of them you either go with the Empire or the Republic And next lot of quests

    Quest can even go based on the class you pick that start as well

    But maybe the last quest takes you to the companion that you've met on the original class planet

  5. Come on u had to see this coming as u cant have two characters with same name as u cant have two network cards the same mac address as router can t tell who to listen too

  6. ok this guide is to show you how to download the paches manually without the games launcher and apply them to the game. I will show you too things one is how to manually patch a clean install and two how to download and patch the small patches that are for a existing install.

    CLEAN INSTALL

    First you need to do a clean install by downloading the 37MB SWTOR Installer or retail DVDs

    Digital Installer:

    http://patchnotes.swtor.com/SWTOR_setup.exe

    Retail DVD Version

    IF you do not have the DVDs then you may get them from amazon

    http://www.amazon.com/dp/B001CWXAP2/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_VtCcsb18WS0MH

    Patching Mode

    You will need to do this if you have install the game and updated the launcher using digital installer

    open the launcher.settings file in notepad and locate the below line

    Change BR to SSN

    if you want to use this manual patch method

    "bitraider_disable": true

    bitraider_download_complete": {}

    "PatchingMode": "{ \"swtor\": \"SSN\"

    Steam Mode

    Change SSN to BR

    if you want to use the Stream method of installing the game but atm it needs fixing as it downloads very slowly for person and some not at all

    "PatchingMode": "{ \"swtor\": \"BR\"

    Download Patches

    next are the patches themselves now you find them below,

    v1.0: You will need these patches if you are doing a clean install using the digital installer but these patches will never change as these are the base game patches

    To work out what the new links will be in future you just need to change the number after 0to____ in the file name and directory for example if there has been a 1 new patch since this post then those numbers will go up by one,

    Example Links

    Original

    http://cdn-patch.swtor.com/patch/assets_swtor_main/assets_swtor_main_0to155/assets_swtor_main_0to155.zip

    New

    http://cdn-patch.swtor.com/patch/assets_swtor_main/assets_swtor_main_0to156/assets_swtor_main_0to156.zip

    In The Patch links List you will see links with the name of the folders that the files go into once you have them all download will will move on to the next step. OK once download leave them in a safe place for backup and copy them to the new install directory that you have made using the retail DVDs then open the launcher and let it update

    Once the launcher has closed and reopen log-in. it will say its verifying the current patch it was looking for that you have place in the game directory then it install it then move on to the next patch until the game has been fully updated and YOUR DONE

    Existing Install

    this is pretty much the same as find the new links for method as clean but you change the patch numbers from prevous patch number to the new patch number

    Example Link

    http://cdn-patch.swtor.com/patch/assets_swtor_main/assets_swtor_main_177to178/assets_swtor_main_177to178.zip

    Note: if you missed more than one patch you will need to do it again

    I can do a video guide if shown Interest
