  1. We RP Sundays at 3am EST. Now recruiting a snarky Twilek artificer, pst for invite.
  2. Rare Ily sighting on the forums! My picks are based on who I have seen lately in pvp. There are players who in my mind have dominated their respective classes pre-3.0 that are not on the list (Telos as Vanguard, Zach as mando, Freq as mara) mainly because they are either altogether MIA or I simply have not seen them yet. I am also taking myself out of the running for any of these. This is only a list of players I have played with/against. I currently don't do ranked, so this is based on happyfuntime unranked matches. If you don't get mentioned, it doesn't mean I don't think you are great at a given class - there was just someone that sticks out more. I made an effort to narrow these down as close to 1 per as I could. Pubs Sent - Thalamir Guard DPS - Eavn Guard Tank - Talionis Slinger - Calem Sage Heals - Tablecloth/Pleather Sage DPS - Freakinpebbles Commando DPS - Bammbamm Commando Heals - The Sable Legacy Shadow DPS - Terethyn/Effort Shadow Tank - Visas Van DPS - Cleavette Van Tank - Guardswap Scoundrel DPS - Ent Scoundrel Heals - The Sable Legacy Imps Mara - Xani Jugg DPS - Onemanarmy Jugg Tank - Pvesucks Sniper - Lumi/Trade Sorc Heals - Klotho Sorc DPS - Liquids Merc DPS - Dedication Merc Heals - Calico Sin Tank - Endurance Sin DPS - Baddie PT DPS - Etats PT Tank - Magikarp Op DPS - Armory Op Heals - Krastin aka Xavuy
  3. I completely agree. I have had my own unpleasant run-ins with this individual in-game. After many a PvP match I have received hateful whispers from Fat'edd/Flipperedd, but the messages (while clearly aimed at being hurtful) only came off as ludicrous and desperate. This, however, is a new low of contemptible behavior and should be dealt with accordingly. This is grounds for banning permanently from the SWTOR gaming community.
  4. Thanks, Milas! hmd MAGENTA NiM Brontes kill video: May she burn forever.
  5. If you re-read my post, Cwild, you will see that I never said concealment/scrapper should remain as it was. In fact I said the opposite - that we needed for the spec to be reworked. I specifically mentioned that conc/scrap needed more sustained damage to be viable in OPS. I also mentioned that we needed more survivability for PvP. Instead, the devs gave the class sustained damage and way more burst. The way more burst aspect is really what I'm having a problem with in PvP. I am glad that the spec got some attention, but it was done so poorly that I felt the need to throw in my 2 cents. You said it yourself - even now, conc/scrap may not be viable for 4v4 competitive PvP. I believe that is because of our issues with survivability. The devs decided not to touch that, however, because it would be, and im paraphrasing here, 'too difficult to increase scoundrel/OP DPS survivability without also buffing healer survivability'. All I'm asking for is a better job from the devs at reworking this class.
  6. Dear TaitWatson and CourtneyWoods and ChrisSchmidt and EricMusco, Let me start off by saying that I don't normally post on the forums for feedback, but I feel obligated to do so for this topic. I have been playing a concealment Operative in PvP for the past year. I have always thought that we needed a little more love in terms of survivability, and perhaps a bit more sustained damage to make us more viable for OPS and other PvE content. I understand that balancing for both PvP and PvE is difficult. So let us assume for now that I am only referring to PvP balancing. Concealment Operatives are a stealth burst class. Burst being the key. When I saw and tested the proposed changes for concealment in 2.6 on the PST, I had a good laugh with other concealment enthusiasts. The consensus was that the damage buff was too great. It resulted in over 4,000 DPS OPS dummy parses on a class with great raid utility (higher than any parse by a Marauder - which is a pure-damage melee class with no self-cleanse, off-heals, or revive ability), and hilariously high burst and sustained damage in PvP. We enjoyed it while it lasted on the PTS. However, we figured that between the testing and the implementation of the proposed changes, they would be re-balanced. Now 2.6 has arrived and there has been no re-balancing. Perhaps it was my fault to assume that there would be enough of an outcry to rework some of the changes (although I have seen plenty of good feedback on this subject from others). I am hereby correcting my mistake - please rework the concealment operative changes. It is simply too much burst and sustained damage, if not for PvE, then for PvP alone.
  7. But that's the whole point - this is entire thread is about who gets the best PARSE, not who is best at rotations (though that does play into it) or who performs better on bosses. That is the competition. The best parse. So let people compete for that.
  8. Yeah! Let this cheating kumquat back into the running! And while you're at it, let Lance Armstrong back into the Tour de France! Also, OJ did it.
  9. The thoughts behind that post, broken down by paragraph: "[impersonal opener to emphasize disinterest], The Chandrian... [make legitimate statement about disagreeing with the progression thread. Continue with filler sentence about having previously supported the thread in order to distract from the self-righteous, condescending statements to follow. Elaborate on discontentment with thread by implying our adhering to higher standards than the rest. Mockingly congratulate the thread, moderator, and participating guilds for their interest in standards that were just deemed unworthy of The Chandrian by me.] The Chandrian... [throw in unnecessary percentage in a false statement of support for guilds who have completed content under circumstances that I have outlined as beneath The Chandrian. Once again, finish paragraph with an ironic congratulation for effect.] If you would like to keep up with The Chandrian,... [emphasize The Chandrian distancing itself from this thread by introducing a new, exclusive one. Magnanimously suggest The Chandrian will interact with others, again reinforcing the theme of distance between The Chandrian and the PvE community.] Also,... [give a strong closer to the entire post by suggesting greater aspirations for The Chandrian by mention of the world rankings. Mock the moderator and the thread once more through insincere gratitude. Drop mic. Walk off stage. Self-satisfied expression engaged.]" Instead of opening up a forthright dialogue about your concerns regarding the criteria of this progression thread, you chose to deliver this smug masterpiece. A tip of the hat to you, sir, I doubt I could have done it better myself.
  10. I don't always check the SWTOR forums. But when I do, I prefer to post. What I have learned from this thread: 1. ID is, hands down, the best PvP guild on this PvE server. If I ever wanted to get super duper cereal about PvP, I would go to them for guidance. Incidentally, I am, hands down, the best RP'er on this PvE server. Just ask my girlfriend on Nar Shadaa. I hear Ebon Hawk players have being jelly and butthurt about my RP skillz on farm. So if anyone wants to know how to RP right on our PvE server, come to me. 2. Dedrayge REALLY REALLY REALLY wants to be in ID. For the love of all that is good and pure, give this dude an invite. I'm sure he will do things to/for you. 3. People have still not figured out that Krazy Karl and Griswald are two of the biggest trolls in SWTOR. If you read a post by Krazy Karl or Griswald and get baited into attempting to reply with a clever post to stick it to them, I have news for you: you have already 'lost'. Its kind of like if you are walking down the street and from behind you hear, "Hey A**hole!", and you turn around. It doesn't matter what you say after that, the fact is, you turned around. This is how I would express Krazy and Gris through emoticons: KK/Griswald = + + + + + + Don't become troll fodder. Just play SWTOR and have fun. If you need to grow your epeen, feel free. But don't get upset when somebody points out that it is just an -E-peen. SWTOR is first and foremost a game. Except my girlfriend on Nar Shadaa. She is real. We do stuff.
  11. The Gray Order downed Xenoanalyst II on 16 man HM. We did it with 1 member of Carnage Gaming, Uniformchaos. Thanks for coming, boss. Neither 8 nor 16 man HM are particularly difficult, but this was even more of a joke on 16 man than on 8 man. It also drops 8 Gray Helix Components instead of 6 on 8 man. Don't hesitate to pug groups to get it done on 16 instead of 8 to farm for legacy weapons. http://i.imgur.com/dgpr0Cl.jpg
  12. The Gray Order downed 8 Man Xenoanalyst II (Hard Mode) from the new Relics of the Gree event today at 4:05 PM Eastern. http://i.imgur.com/t56AHxg.jpg
  13. Appreciated. The point system in Feuil1's spreadsheet is murky and convoluted. Dominius does a good job of laying it out clearly and simply. Go Shadowlands!
  14. Hi, My name is Ily, I've been playing SWTOR since I was a little kid and I've always wanted to be in the TGO! I have a Sage tank that has *solo* cleared several missions on Tython. I wouldn't consider myself "leet" per se, but let's just say that there is no Weak/Standard mob that can stand in my way after I use my Force Valor buff and Double Strike. I am pretty busy during the week, the best times for me to raid are Sundays between 5:15AM and 5:45AM. I know, I know, you are already sold. Let me just add that I also have a Vanguard healer that I'm working on right now, so pretty soon I will be able to tank or heal! Hit me up. Peace.
