I had asked this question over in the vanguard side of the world but have yet to get a response was wondering if you fine folks could shed some light on the bolster mechanics of low lvl pvp. I am mostly copy and pasta with a few edits from Yojacks thread. I am leveling my Vanguard currently so these brackets don't matter as much. With that said he is in the 30-54 bracket. I am getting absolutely obliterated by just about every class in this bracket while using pretty much the same tank build as Yojacks thread. My first few matches post 30 my healer commented on how I went from rock solid in 10-29 to squishy as soon as we stepped into 30+. My guy Is not yet 40 but has a full set of 40 defensive gear ready to go! My question how ever is, am I getting torn apart because my gear does not have defense stats on it till 40? Does bolster not recognize I am in tank stance and bolster my defenses accordingly? Will I become a bit tankier with gear that actually gives me defense? Thanks in advance!

QOL? how is this making your life better? You are just raving mad that you have to pay for something you voluntarily want to get that BW is not forcing you to get. You picked your hair cut ,you picked your race, you picked your random scar/tattoo. I think the better deal is paying a min fee to change it then starting over. Business models must really baffle you.

Huehuehue that's why all of their pvp population complain about healers no longer having to cast heals and can run around using instants!

Least ya get money. That was one of my big complaints about WoWs BG/arena system. It required min maxing for everything down to your tradeskills/enchants/gems etc etc. But for those that only did pvp you got no money from BGs/arenas so you were forced into doing dailies that you really don't want to do. In short be glad ya get something ;P

But why and or how is it broken? You just stated that others have said it is because there are a lot of threads.

Endless heals? How are we endless healing if we are rolling away. We cannot just heal and maintain our energy. If we rolled multiple times its to escape. It puts our energy reserves so low that our regen is trashes till we get back above 60%. Its like no one bothers to understand the energy mechanics in this game.

I love when people call their target for hostile intent "Kid". Its a veiled attempt to project insecurities incurred from a lack luster childhood.

From what I have played we apply great aoe pressure with dots. But not enough to our do a sorc/ lethality op. Also no they broke the rotation its pretty straight forward now. Discharge >Creeping> Thrash till proc> DF > Crushing Darkness > Thrash> Saber strike because our force regen is crap now. Repeat..... Lambaste makes me want to punch kittens. Only way I can see the spec being halfway decent is stacking a insane amount of surge and crit. So your dots and thrash benefit from the insane crit dmg increase to them. Edit - Making alacrity increase the frequency of our dot ticks as a talent would be a nice flavor. If they are going to make us a glorified dot class at least make our dots devastating.

Pvp is server specific. Any faction gripes should be directed at your server. We all have days when pubs and imps are better or worst. Haha you guys are blowing my mind. I am trying to learn carnage(never played it pre 2.0) ,I stink at it! But I am piecing it together alot of buff watching but I think I can make it work. I am mainly talking from a PVP perspective. Wish anni was more suited for PVP I enjoy that spec the most out of the 3
