  1. Everybody saying that they can't control server inbalance forgets to realize when they did server assignments, they made some of the original servers 4:1 empire....lul.

Pretty much this. Our original server was supposed to be Kinrath Spider (Unooficial Brazillian Server) and by looking at all the guilds that were assigned to it, you could see that the #'s showed a 2.5:1 ratio roughly. We left anyways because of the Brazillians and are now on The Fatman, but guess what, 3+:1 there too.

  2. for YOU. everyone does not have to have the same kind of perspective as you have. for others stuff you see as important does not matter zit.

so i have to have a smartphone to access game features of the core game. else, my game features will remain gimped than those who own a smartphone. or pay for a fob.

that's great customer satisfaction. what's next ? mortgage for expansion ?

haha lol ! companion is a core game feature, and its customizations, are - surprise surprise - important for some people !!!

'everyone may not be having the same perspective on whats important as you' -> wow. what a revelation for you !

you learned something today. isnt it great ... "lol" ...

Get higher level and you'll find vendors with 6 customizations for each companion on several planets. What now.

  3. Man, people don't care about this as much as you do, first of all. As far as I can tell, no one's "defending" anything, just responding to a situation that's been outlined by hundreds of people over the last few weeks on these forums. Some of us are looking forward to when the whining's going to end and these boards might have SOME constructive value (I know that's a stretch to expect from a forum but I can dream, dammit).

Edit: Not to mention, if you want to talk about worst end game in any MMO ever, I shudder to think of how hard you would have been raging if you had rushed to 60 in the first month of WoW's release. At least this game had SOMETHING when it came out.

Yea running 15 man raids on LBRS and UBRS and Stratholme was end game till MC was patched in 2-3 months after the game released.

  4. Do you have an answer?

I'm not complaining. I had fun. It was well worth it. But if this is all there is, then the game's pretty much done.

Like I told other people, which game had more to do when you hit lvl cap. All themepark MMOs are the same, what do you expect?

  5. I find it hard to talk good about any crafting systems after having played SWG and EQ2. Two MMO's that actually got it right.

Played EQ2 for 2 months, got bored, never did any crafting.

BUT, SWG crafting was awesome and wish there were more games that did it this way. It was an adventure sometimes to find the best crafting mats for your profession. Unless of course you got there late and everyone had harvestors on the good spots already, lol.

  6. ....now that you're 50?

The VO and Class story elements of the leveling experience were amazing in TOR. I found myself rushing to log on to see what happened in my personal story and the leveling experience was amazing. Now that I'm 50 I feel like I'm playing Rift in Space.

    1) Horrible PVP balance. It makes doing WZ's a total drag. If you're a healer without a Tank buddy you may as well not play and if you're Empire you better like Huttball.

    2) The Flashpoints all seem the same. Same environments (ships and hallways) for the most part. Boring Boss tactics and weak stories (tell me you thought BFI or FE were engrossing).

    3) Crafting is a waste.

    4) Operations are fun more as a chance to play with friends than because of the encounters themselves. Plus it's odd that it's more efficient to AFK in WZ's to gear up than to run Normal Operations.

I'm getting Rift Deja Vu. Pretty World but there seems to be no soul to the game. I have to say I'm feeling a little bummed right now.

I'm leveling a Republic Trooper just to get back to the good stuff. Is that all this game really is going to be? Play alts for the good part (story) and be bored at 50?

Did you ever play any other MMOs and think the same thing? Because they are / were all the same when they came out and you hit max level. Some (Eve) take longer than others to hit max level.

  7. It's not cheating to run several accounts. BUT the question is what software do you use to do it with. There are some tools that clearly go down the path of cheating and would get you banned in some mmos. Not saying WoW is one of them because they don't seem to care.

Every MMO I have played this question always comes up. As long as the 3rd party program he is using does not alter or affect the actual game, it's allowed. A program that allows a user to control X amount of accounts because the program links all the accounts with 1 key press does not alter the game in any way.

Every MMO I have played this has been allowed. In EQ there used to be 2 multi boxers on Mith Marr / Drinal server. Each ran a full group, 6 accounts I believe. CoH was a user running 3 heroes. Seen it in WoW (Archimonde) and RIFT (Keenblade). Really all this matters is to PvP servers because people hate to be insta gibbed by multi boxers.

  8. Look at their health and compare it to a regular 5 man boss. First boss in Well of Eternity (one of the new 5 mans) has 9 million health. Julak-Doom has 30 million.

You can do it in a five man group, but it takes an obscenely long time. hence why everyone did them in raids.

We talking about the cata world bosses that say Party5 on their description or not? of those, the only one I rememebr being hard is Julak-Doom. The Deepholm Dragon was a joke as is Garr.
