  1. Hi All, Well, the Cantina Tour last night was great! Some great cosplay which was expected as it coincided with the Star Wars convention also next door The 2 reasons for attending was to meet up with our Guildies that we have not met before and to meet/chat with the Community Team themselves. After a relatively short queue time were given tickets for 2 free drink and and a swag bag (drinks were not expected so that was a great surprise). After the live feed which started shortly after 8pm a surprise guests was brought onto the stage..........Vaylin! Fantastic that she was there to support the event, just a shame she never came in cosplay Got plenty of photo opportunities with the community team and Vaylin herself!!! Does this sound like it is all about Vaylin? Possibly. Anyway, a great night and an event which I hope will continue to bring our Guild even closer than we were before. Thanks for a great night Guys.....oh and Vaylin of course
  2. So, as I stated, melee onslaught specialists are marauders not PT's. Maybe the Dev's have got their classes mixed up? cc's really help in boss fights because they are not immune right? I am talking from a PVE point of view and not a pvp whiner. PT's got nerfed thanks to pvp rage quiters and this change is in my opinion is pvp based yet again.

Oh, and also, it seems sorc healers are getting a buff, not a nerf!

  5. Hi, so am I correct in assuming that the best relics for Powertechs is either: a. RW and Shield Ampification? or b. RW and Shrouded Crusader? I have seeen some posts saying a and others saying b. Which is the best?
  6. I do not usually reply to these type of threads....however: Saying PT's are overpowered.....stop whinging and explain why! Also, what skill tree are you talking about? Please justify your reasons. That said, I can only assume this is a pvp'er who was pwned by a PT as he/she does not know how to play his/her own class. Also, if you are so interested in classes, join the PTS and get actively involved rather than vent your frustration in anger due to, yes I will say it again......a pwning you got in pvp!
  7. Hi Tac, your a legend in this forum as always! So, until I get my full 6 piece, you think I am better sticking with my old 4 peiece or just swap them now? As I am yet to benefit from the 6 piece autocrit on IML (Need 2 more pieces). Also, from your numbers below, do you think 6-7 alacrity Augments should do the trick? All my mods/enhancements are the unlettered 192's so you think it may be a good idea to stick with them?
  8. Hey all Can I ask what secondary stats I should be looking at as a Pyro PT. I currently have 0 crit and 0 alacrity. Just stacking power and surge and have accuracy at 110.40%. I am still currently in the old 4 set piece bonus as I am relecutant to swap it out until I have the full new 6 piece and am missing 2 pieces (one of them the belt). My parse is currently at 4300 in a 192 barrel but I have seen much much higher parses and wondering if I am doing something wrong? Should I have crit? Thanks for taking the time to read this.
  9. Thanks for all your feedback, will try out this evening Also, at what point should I swap my old set piece? I have full old set, hopwever have got 2 pieces of the new gear. I do not want to swap them out just yet as I will miss the 8% extra to RS (The 2 new peieces are head and chest so would have to swap them with old). I it worth swapping the 2 old for 2 new now?
  10. Hi all, just wondering what others thoughts were on the PT so called "Heavy Armour?" Last night on Underlurker I was being completely pummeled as a dps. using Sonic Rebounder when I could and even speccing into the 5% damage reduction and 5% self heal per Shoulder Cannon and I was still taking almost twice as much damage as the rest of the raid. The healers said that the hardest part of the fight was keeping me alive! Obviously, I was also using a medpac and energy shield/Kolto when I had to also. Has the 3.0 PT been shopping with coupons to get his Armour as it certainly feels so! Unless I am doing somthing wrong I am very diappointed with its survivability. Those Lurklerlings are being killed easily before we need to get behind the rocks so it is definately not a dps issue not getting them down fast enough. Any tips would be most welcome on reducing the damage (without speccing into tank stance for those of you who may reply to that effect )

  12. Yeah, ouch on not grabbing it! Shame they cannot fix this game properly and have the items say what is on the package correctly. If it had a 20 sec cd I would have chosen it Besides, I am not too sure how much a loss it is not having it anyway. Is it a big difference? Thx anyway m8.
  13. I may have been hasty in my post. I do not have the Ark RW as never took it after the Palace of Fear quest due to the 40 sec CD which as I have since learnt, is actually 20 secs. So ignoring the RW, which ones then?
  14. Lets assume we do not have endgame relics. Underworld wise, what are the best for PT's? I currently use SA and FR.
  15. Arkanian Relic of Reactive Warding - On Hit: Incoming attacks have a 30% chance to grant an Absorb Shield that protects the user from 740 damage for 6 seconds. This effect can only occur once every 40 seconds. Underworld Relic of Shield Amplification - On Hit: Shielding an incoming attack grants 550 Absorb Rating for 6 seconds. This effect can only occur once every 20 seconds How can the Arkanian proc twice as much when it does so every 40 seconds, yet the underworld proc every 20 seconds? Yes I agree the Reactive Warding protects more, but you get a longer downtime on it. Unless I am looking at this all wrong?

  17. From a PT Pyro point of view, would love to see us get some dps back after we lost so much in previous patches. At the moment, they are last in the queue when looking for a raiding group. Give the PT Pyro some love! As a pyro, I don't want more survivability, that is the tanks job, give me dps back!
  18. Don't get me wrong, I know how to use my PT in Pyro spec. Have been doing so since 1.2 and still use it. What I am saying is that with regards to dps output, we are very low and the changes made were effectively to make us survive longer. Personally, I prefer the better dps than survivability. I play PVE and Tanks are the ones who need to survive longer not me. I have my shield and aggro dump, tanks do the rest. Shame that my particular class does is not of interest in the bigger picture for the developers where dps is concerned.
  19. I see many threads about new class representatives etc and many more from unhappy PT players with regards to our dps. I play a PT Pyro and love playing the class. However, I have been forced to swap to my Operative dps or Sniper in Raids as the PT Pyro just does not cut it since the last nerf! Why has the developers constantly ignored our class????? I now see a new thread in the Operative Class section about how they are going to give some "Love" to the Operative DPs.............are they serious? Operative DPS pull some of the best damage in game if played correctly. They far out dps the PT by a large way. And what happens......the Devs give them a buff! This is a joke! And what is happening with our class representative? My opinion on this is that he has to have a PVE perspective aswell as PVP. Let us all hope the devs give the PT some "Love" also soon!
  20. Tried this Op tonight as a guild run for the first time in 8M SM. Had a few wipes, then once we got the mechanics right cleared draxus and the rest was very easy. Think the difficulty is right to be honest......we had some members in 69 gear with 66 hilts. Make it easier would just be a farming Op. I like the fact that the 2nd boss mechanics and damage is high, it stops pugs running it all the time farming The only downfall was the time that draxus disappeared and never came back, that is clearly an unintentional bug. However, after wiping and trying again, all worked as intended. With regards to the affliction (I believe it was), the dps and tanks just need to get the interrupts down early to stop mass damage. This is one Op that requires everyone in the group working together.....we want more of these! That said, really loved the scenery in the fortress, though it was very cool! Nice job BW! Edit: Also, got the Fearless title for completing, but in achievements it only says 4/5 bosses completed. Another Bug
  21. I have followed this and KBN's posts with regards to stat balances with both my Jugg and BH. However, I see more and more ppl now going down the route of less defense and more shield. Also, in a raid last night, I healed a Jugg & BH which neither had more than 12% Defense. I though to myself.....here we go! However, one of the easiest healing Raids I have done as a healer (TFB). After speaking to them, they again confirmed, they went heavy on shield and took points out of defense. This has really confused me now, after all the work both Dpstik and KBN have done, I am starting to think that from experience, the number don't work. Anyone else noticed the same?
  22. This was my point mate. There is absolutely no reason at all to make the requirement for underworld implants at 5 x Mass Manipulation Generators. It has to be an oversight or a bug! MY issue though is that they will respond to me in game saying it is a bug, but CS wont post in this thread so everyone else knows it is a bug! Do they have a friend that is a crafter of one of these or seomthing......or are they just being ignorant! CS as for us to report things out of the norm, then ignore half the playerbase, if not more, unless it is money related........cannot get cartel coinsm my subscription is not working etc! Get back to the game guys and fix problems there! Oh and please reply. Bumping threads is tiresome!
  23. Awesome, this post was removed from Customer Service forum to bug reports.....but still, no reply in this thread from CS! Guys, come on please and acknowledge in forum that this is indeed an issue. Sometime.....I don't trust M0-T0!!!!!!! I am sure that the rest of the community would like to know that this is indeed a bug and will be fixed in a future update.

I have had a reply from CS in game from my ticket no:: 9435484 stating: This particular case appears to have been caused by a bug within the game that will need to be corrected in a future game update and as such, cannot be corrected by customer service. Now that CS have formally accepted that this is a bug, would you please comment here as to whether you are working on a fix and when we are likely to see the patch update for it. I cannot see it in know issues anywhere! I am disappointed that no-one from CS replied to this thread when I see them replying to other thread the past couple of days! This is clearly something that also needs rectifying so you should take the time out to look into it and at least let us know what is happening. Thanks.
