  1. they can't even get mako's staring clothes correct... (combat pants are still in the Ops set) bugs, fixing... it doesn't happen in this game. reminds me of funcom, i can still put on AoC and find my herald of Xoti still goes bald after a couple of instance loads.
  2. i don't know which is worse *forum users *players *developers *"customer service" droids you all kinda deserve one another.... enough BS for a very profitable farm
  3. just the same, everyone's dead by the time the animation goes off
  4. Take a look at the screenies. well done, I mean this makes it easy to understand (via diplomacy - stick to ROUNDING UP in code) .. http://img641.imageshack.us/img641/8241/screenshot2012020510132.jpg or in the context over many levels: http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/7166/screenshot2012020510143.jpg come on, you can do better than this, right? But like i always said, just little niggles and a lot of bugs - don't add anything new until you've squashed a lot.
  5. i see that door, just no physically way of getting to it... maybe i'm looking at it wrong there's 2 green doors, one to the west (just been there, last quest part) - one to the east. red door where the quest indicator is in the south north - the airlock to go back to the ship. the 2 paths around to the east are blocked, (the other route where tavik is) and no console beside either (that work). there's some stairs down heading east but not stairs up. http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/3494/screenshot2012012911003.jpg (no way around the sides, and I have to go into one of these doors, a couple of consoles behind me but bioware's left me with the most useless companion who doesn't really wanna do anything there, or fight half the time [unless I force him by pressing his action bar]) sorry but your directions don't help, Bioware SHOULD be fixing bugs but they aren't (small minor ones like the trooper not having the item quest (where you learn about adding stuff onto weapons and recieve a free mod thing), too the sith warrior whose quests never give them 8 commendations, only 6 even picking up from mobs, to the fact that the first costumes for characters; bounty hunter/imperial agent and smuggler still are mixed up with a couple of options) these are just from the top of my head.
  6. you'd have thought this would have been quality checked, or fixed before they added any other content (1.1) but no, still bugged, door still won't open. I suppose it comes as a surprise for Bioware, in KOTOR they didn't really have to fix the 1000's of bugs, in an MMO... that's not really the case. "what you mean we have to fix bugs" 'just add stuff no one will notice' (if anyones left playing) attempted to go back to before the "green zone" and right click to reset local phase. nahh not working. Door is red, not green, can't open. therefore bugged. well done. this means i can't do much and i generally refuse to the whole thing again when it's not my fault. plus it's one of the dullest things ever. just saying the quest in general is just "meh"
  7. you can't win. 1) if they opened it up as early access to everyone (like every MMO before this) then the servers would crash and they'd be massive queues. (least people could join their friends before the servers hit "full") - among other reasons the EA and Bioware guys never thought off (Bioware is making C&C now by the way, wow EA have them doing everything) 2) if they did the waves people would complain about not being in and various dates and arguments would be used on the system, the preorder. yeah I think the first one is always better (either way people complain. unknown why they went for the 2nd one). -munches popcorn- did no one else find it funny, that you had a code to preorder, a code to early access and i guess they'll be a code with the box too. Wow they have almost as much codes as classes per faction.
  8. lol good luck. The plus side with the waves is you avoid the 9 hour queues of Aion (if anyone played that) although, i don't remember Rift having any queues on the EU side in early access or LOTRO (back in the day). waves. it's a good idea, favours the hardcore who preordered early yet paid the same as everyone else.
  9. And that makes it okay, i mean they managed to have the euro separate in the beta? right. so now we're mixed in with the US.... what.
  10. http://www.swtor.com/server-status not according to their "updated" server status
  11. when they talk about waves today. so it's just americans. don't see any euro servers up, isn't that kinda biased. just saying. -whistles- i feel good being a 2nd class citizen against the "mighty" US (lol) Their "whole" reason for the waves is to see server stability etc, but with no euro servers up, that reason becomes null and void. i'd golf clap but i find the whole "waves" thing amusing.
