Only ripping problems I've had is when the dps has 3+ lvls on me, and never on a boss.

No, they aren't throttling, don't lose aggro on anything except aoe when they all focus the mobs opposite me. Guess I'll see how it goes once I hit Ops

So while tanking heroics, FPs, ect from lvl 10-48, I seem to be able to hold aggro on any single target by spaming the basic 0 heat blaster fire, I'm away from home, so I forget the name. Anyone notice this as well? Aside from using CDs and keeping the flame burst debuff up, any reasons why not to just take a nap and spam?

Rmember Omni CC from WoW addons? We know a GCD is up or not just show us CDs with numerical countdowns in red over the slot until we can use it again. This stupid GCD flashout makes me hit alt z and fight that way.

So I've played 5 diff chars to lvl 10, 2 chars to lvl 31, and am now almost 40 on my Powertech. I love the class, and I love our swirling flames in combat. But overall, when not using flames, we look like boring Mercs. I don't want us to be dual wielding tanks, or blaster rifle wielding tanks. I want, for at least shield techs, an offhanded shielding animation. The current giant bubble is not very exciting in any way. I would say some kind of item held in the OH, that when you shield, shows your character projecting a smaller hex like shiled out of the device and absorbing the damage. The other thing would be to make larger and or different looking blaster pistols for the Powertech family as a whole, just to make it look a bit more threatening and actually different from Mercs.

At this point in the game, pick a role, stick with it, and gear up that spec. Here's my counter points. 1) Single spec forces you to make friends. 2) Single spec makes you less of a loot "whore" 3) Single spec was standard in most major MMOs, and this game still doesn't even have guild banks.

Or just play classes you like and wait for the balancing that comes in all MMOs

So I love the Shadow's gameplay mechanics, I am level 26 and am doing great lvling kinetic. But all the ranting about how shadow is broken except for Balance (which i have 0 intention of ever playing) has made me question what to play. I plan on tanking and swapping to dps when needed. But I have a 22 BH that most people claim are great tanks and dps. Basically, is Shadow actually broken? Or should I stick it out?
