  1. Jedi warriors get shafted in the companion department, as you don't acquire Doc until Balmorra. Try keeping T7 well-geared and have him tank for you.
  2. Back to the original question, I think it would make sense to free up the names of characters below level 10 that haven't been played in over a year or so--not delete the characters, but just free up the names. You'd be surprised at how much that would actually clear up.
  3. I saw a really fat commando with the high and tight hairdo. His name? Within'Regs.
  4. http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_noss_2?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=gaming+pcs Many of those are decent enough to run SWTOR well. They're not the latest and greatest, mind you, but they won't break the bank and they'll get shipped to you more quickly than if you customized your own through a company. This is beastly and just within your budget if you have Amazon Prime or Amazon Student (free shipping). Prime is worth it if you don't have it already anyway. http://www.amazon.com/Microtel-Computer%C2%AE-AMTI9031-Processor-Microsoft/dp/B004AH9W8A/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1363799030&sr=1-2&keywords=AMTI9098
  5. I've seen a lot of SW ink in the Members Pictures thread. I'm surprised this doesn't have more replies. Jedi Knight Academy ink. Ha!
  6. All prettied up. Why so serious? Smiling. As of Sunday, I have the JKA logo permanently etched onto my body... Uh... Huge SW fangirl here, and that ink is a throwback to my formative years. I get weird looks when I tell people what it actually is, but I think I'm in good company on these boards!
  7. Kaliyo likes sticking it to the governing bodies of the Empire, whether or not that ends up being the light side or dark side choice. She also likes bloodshed, so most of the time she'll agree with the dark-sided choice. My agent usually gets -1 affection with Kaliyo when she mouths off to her, unless it's clearly intended as a jest. I think Kaliyo likes playful banter, but she doesn't like being genuinely insulted.
  8. Kaliyo started to grow on me after we left Hutta. It's just that she made a bad impression the first few times she spoke to my agent--what's with retardedly breaking into her room? LOL. Back on topic. If the seemingly cruel killing doesn't sit well with your character, there are dialogue options to express such. I often end up choosing those. And there's almost always a loophole that allows you to do the "good" thing, even if it means bending the rules. Raina Temple, one of the IA's companions, has the same outlook. So they definitely make that a viable option for how to play your agent.
  9. No screenshots but I have some videos. They contain spoliers unless you've made it off Hutta. I wanted to make my Agent pretty, but not outstandingly so. She's easy one the eyes but wouldn't stand out in a crowd. As a covert operative, she wants to keep it that way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ePoMTlvpJY&context=C34ad631ADOEgsToPDs***7hMhE8me49OsLfwWhdJo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mn2SOc233vY&context=C3bfec1bADOEgsToPDskKoAXmIq_5erRS-s-trWnnB http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMM8-QsDfeo&context=C389550cADOEgsToPDskLnN0r3fH***GhFdM5RM3M- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ONI0BKn7UmI&context=C3af827aADOEgsToPDskL4Wr7ZsM8maybVBlzjVs60
  10. You can make light-sided choices, you know. All but one of my Agent's decisions have been light-sided--with the exception of threatening to off Kaliyo because she's so... freaking... irritating. I kind of felt the same way you do. I saw Safe House and suddenly wanted to play a CIA special agent type of gal. However, she's compassionate even if it means not exactly following her orders.
  11. I played my gunslinger as a gal whose heart is somewhere near the right place--she puts her own greed aside when it seems like innocent people are genuinely in need or in danger. So it worked out with Corso. He was a fun romance option for her, and the fact he was always there helps. I actually like Vector's quirkiness. The "joiner" thing sets him apart from the other male characters in the game. I'm just irked that you don't meet him until later on in the game.
  12. Hat. Hat hair. These pictures are making me realize how pasty I am!
  13. Oh FFS, Tinypic ate my image. Here it is again, customization 5: http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/2465/screenshot2012021022303.jpg I agree that Corso's original look is butt-ugly because of the dreadlocks.
  14. So this is what Customization 5 looks like.
  15. Really? I know a few girls who are obsessed with Torian Cadera. He doesn't even have his own thread?
  16. I had a pixie cut and it's growing out... very awkwardly so I got a wig in which to wig out! I should wear it to class tomorrow and say, with a straight face, "...the **** are you looking at?" ETA: Dear Imgur, Why did you eat all my pictures?
  17. There are moments when I wish I could move around more and still dish out damage, but in general I like that my gunslinger makes a little nest for herself and stays in it for the duration of the fight. I have cooldowns and abilities to keep track of, so I don't want to worry too much about running around.
  18. Captain Darla "Damselfly" Byrd. Darla was taken so she goes by Damselfly.
  19. I have to admit that I kind of see where the Corso hate is coming from. When I made my gunslinger, I decided I wanted a change from my ruthless bounty hunter. I knew I wanted to play my gunslinger as the sort of gal whose heart is somewhere near the right place and decided that she'd keep her own greed checked when it seems like innocent people are truly in need or in danger--like a female Han Solo. Luckily, Corso generally approves. I want to play my scoundrel as a cold-hearted profiteer, however, and I'll be pretty annoyed when my only romanceable companion keeps disapproving of her.
  20. "He just didn't want anyone watching while he got it on with Mrs. Rakghoul."
  21. ...What? I didn't get that conversation after leaving Coruscant. The first conversation I had with Corso on my ship was his drunken advances. This one, and it happened on Taris: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=usg6bLQBj38&context=C3bfec1bADOEgsToPDskKoAXmIq_5erRS-s-trWnnB My smuggler kept shooting down Darmas' advances, though she flirted with him ONCE after beating him at cards, and it was more profusely thanking him for all his help than actually trying to woo him. It didn't result in anything besides Darmas saying he'd like to see her again sometime. Did something get skipped? Did I lock myself out of a romance? And my smuggler would probably react with vitriol if Corso suggested that she was a floozy. I always think of a little backstory for my characters, and she's been pretty lonely since being widowed a few years before the fiasco on Ord Mantell.
  22. OH! I forgot about that! My smuggler said the same things! I clicked "We're under attack!" She kind of glanced around and said in this really sarcastic tone, "By the stars, the republic troops have invaded our base!" If you're just poking through this thread and haven't made a smuggler yet, make a female one! The voice actress' delivery is SUPERB.
  23. I giggled when my smuggler told the Taris customs agent, "Beryl just looks dishonest. I have the same problem."
  24. Yeah. I would have had my smuggler tell him to go sleep it off had I not known it would kill any chance of romance in the future. I'm playing her as anything but easy. She's definitely a tomboy, not a floozy. XD
