  1. If your guild is doing operations, you should explain to them, that the Shadow / Scoundrel rezz only works 30% (my opinion) of the time. You can try to improve the odds by being as far away as possible, having no dots, knowing when the boss is going to do raidwide damage... but it's still a game of chance if it works. You normally need it because somebody else ****ed up, and therefore it's not your fault if it doesn't work. It is a last resort to help beating a fight, but shouldn't be necessary to win. I am happy that i have that ability, but my guild is not accusing me if it doesn't work.
  2. I never get why people on their first character want to get to 55 as fast as possible. A big part of the game is its story (and not just the class story) Why would you want to skip half of the game just to get to 55 quickly. If you do the class quests, main story line and sidequests of every planet, bonus series and heroics you get to 55 fast enough and you can enjoy the game. Becuase at 55 the game gets kinda repetitive and boring ( you do dailys, fps, ops, pvp) and they don't get that more interesting the 10th time you do them, so enjoy the story while getting to 55. As for your legacy perks, buy the stuff that is actually usefull at 55, crafting crit chance, companions affection gains, rocket boots, 1hour travel to starship, bigger inventory...
  3. What the "need for companions" people tend to forget is that everyone has companions, and so if you want to Need on an item, even if nobody needs it for their main character, they loose the chance to get something for their companions. So, everybody could ask if they can Need for companions, and then we don't need Greed anymore. Just roll Greed on stuff for your companions, hope you get lucky, and if not, dont worry, they are just companions, even in crap greens they do their job good enough most of the time. And with the planetary comms from 2.0 it is actually quite easy to keep your main companion in decent gear.
  4. By "Squishy" most people mean, that their character dies too fast. And by rerolling they don't take the same advanced class again, because they would just end up with the same character who is just as squishy. If they reroll it means a change from Sentinel to Guardian for example. But the bigger survivability comes normally with a decrease in damage output.
  5. Well if you want the whole game experience, i would suggest picking a republic character, so you get to see the other side of the story. But class choice is up to you, i would suggest not taking Trooper, as it's the mirror class, but Gunslinger is really something else to the PT, and force classes are of course also quite different, but it also depends on what role you want to play. Consular story is not the best, but the shadow is really fun to play.
  6. I want to know what armour that is. Looks awesome
