I can't understand why this class has an aoe knockback. Assassins has so much utility already, I can't fathom why they need this incredibly powerful tool too.
Knockbacks from stealth are also incredibly annoying and they are really the only class who can consistently knock you back before you can position yourself.
I say remove the knockback from the general tree and give it solely to sorcs. I think it would balance out the Assassins alot.

A great way to earn xp is space missions. So do them every day and you will breeze through the levels.

Honestly with the given evidence of how fast this game is progressing in content per 2 months in a year I could see this being 10x better than it is now.
Except they suck at class balance. They could add 20 operations and flashpoints it won't matter.

So yeah, they killed scoundrel, both in pve and pvp. it's my favorite class. Whats the point of me waiting around and wasting my time to see it?
I've read alot of the feedback on these changes by people who tested it. Feel its been constructive enough for you to take your "test it out blabla" and shove it.

So up until now when the patch notes hit the PTS, it's pretty much final and any testing or feedback by players are ignored.
So what are the odds there will be some changes to class balance before the patch? or should I just quit now?

I wonder if stalling character transfers/server merger is a fatal mistake from Bioware. It should be top priority tbh. How many people will leave because their server is empty and leveling up another char and gearing it is too much of an hassle? How many months can they put up with it?

Every class should have an AoE knockback, I think it makes PVP a lot more fun.
Are you talking about ones like the sniper's skill that adds knockback to snipe if used within 10m?
How can you possibly think that?

In order for some of these people to get shorter cooldowns on some of their abilities, they generally have to sacrifice in other fields. They may have more knockbacks, but I'm sure they're lacking in survivability or even DPS.
Then give them something they lack in other fields instead and remove the knockbacks. Assassins doesn't need(shouldn't have) a knockback for example.

The biggest problem with the pvp combat in this game is the insufferable amount of knockbacks, too many classes have it and the cds are way to short. I don't mind interupts but flying all over the place constantly is so incredibly stupid.

I'm only in the later part of act 1, but so far I've found it pretty good. Don't understand why it gets so much hate.
I guess it's repetive, but hunting down all those corrupted jedi masters was fun. Many of them were intriguing characters too.

I don't get the hate for the male Agent voice. Frankly I love it and it's one of the major draws for the class for me; aside from the story being absolutely fantastic. Awesome VA.
Agreed. It's fantastic especially if you're playing an ******e. Same with the Sith inquisitor(who is pretty much impossible to play as a serious character).

Every class can't be a burst class. Adapt to your class instead.
Sorc is the tor equivalent of the warlock in WoW. They suffer from the same "problem" but they are awsome too.

Can't say I've played with every single class to 50 and tested everyone out. But looking over every class and playing some to higher levels I think I've got a good overlook.
In my opinion the class with the best companions is the smuggler.
As a smuggler you get a wookie, a ****** mandalorian chick, a pirate princess and Guss Tuno, the most hilarious companion in pretty much any game I've played. Corso Riggs is lame but every single one after him is awesome.
Close after is the sith inquistor.
As for worst companions in the game its a split between agent and jedi consular. They seem to be getting a bunch of bland and boring companions. Putting me off for playing them.

Couldn't agree more. Honestly, they look like complete crap. Should fire the people doing the design on these sets and I really mean that.

Nope. As shown with the warlock from wow. Weak 1on1 but shines in teamplay with support. As it should be imo. Sorcerers are fine and maybe even needed a small nerf. It would certainly be extremely unbalanced to give them burst on top of the sustained dmg.

Every class can't be a burst class. Sustained dmg is the best really, reminds me of the Warlock in WoW. Weak 1on1 but absolutely great with backup and on sustained dmg.

They can;t win.
What the hell are you talking about? Unless it's something critical and gamebraking taking down the servers at primetime shouldn't be acceptable.

The customer service in this game is horrible. Hopefully they will realize this and do something about it. I would say these forums wouldn't be nearly as bad if there was more interaction between the community and the CS/Devs.
