  1. I will definitely be going across at the earliest opportunity. Server transfers were flagged almost immediately, so (also assuming too much) we should anticipate no loss of time spent thus far. My two cents worth is that high-end guilds and more would jump at the chance to have (maybe) sub-100ms latency. The earlier poster/s who mentioned future MMOs make a great point too. Our response to Aussie servers may well influence future MMOs and (with the NBN) open up a golden age of online gaming in the sunburnt country. Good times ahead. :-)
  2. Yes. I am enjoying the storylines and slowly levelling alts.
  3. This time when the servers needed to be taken down for 2 hours, the clear reason (sort out 1.1.1 glitches) was given to us. Despite some disappointment, 2 hours is nice (not too long). It is made even easier knowing why. Thank you. :-)
  4. Bring on 1 March 2012 for server transfers and lower pings. Might even try serious PvPing for the first time.
  5. Although it is potentially really, really disappointing there must've been a good reason. I would just suggest that BW explain the urgency in their posts. I went into work to play and logged in 10min before the server shutdown. I found the cheerful post about the regular Tuesday shutdown and the passing note about 4hrs of downtime, but couldn't work out why it was so desperately urgent. Obviously, no need to talk us through the latest exploit or give us inappropriate details, but a brief explanation for the urgency might dignify the playerbase.
  6. I downloaded the game client, installed it and then setup the account on the website using the cd-key. No dramas at all. It might be clearer if you could indicate at what point you get the region error (or calling CS). PS Hope you've fixed it already.
