I like Quads because I'm consistent and they offer me over 100% accuracy, I would use burst if they didn't have 91% accuracy. I run dfield because I get missiled non-stop, I use it more for the missile break than anything else. If it didn't come with evasion I wouldn't care. And overcharge is a useful dps boost but it won't win games for you for free, I suggest you concern yourself with respect more than what other people are running. Parts alone won't win you games and if you don't mind me asking, who's the second person?

Since I think you're talking about me, hi, I'm Rumina, I don't use burst lasers, I use quads. I'm just pretty consistent with my shots.

Wouldn't say "average gunship pilot." And you don't need to have maxed out your scout, just a few creature comforts need to be there, maxing distortion field is a must though because once you start performing there will be 3x the missiles you were getting before.

I have a good number of friends who want to get into space but can't because they're made physically ill by the field of view in the game, what are the odds of adding a FoV slider to help bring that experience down?

Hey, I'm one of those guys you're describing and I have to say, I get flamed more than I get complimented, so thanks a lot for the words of support. Honestly, I've had a worse time enjoying this game since I got better because of the constant hate tells and **** like this. http://imgur.com/BpCc5MA People call me a cheater all the time because I'm able to punch out a lot of dps in a few shots. I'll tell you, the quad laser cannon with concentrated fire and blaster overcharge and frequency capacitor is stupidly good damage and I would be silly not to use it, all that being said, it's depressing as hell to have people send me tells like that as much as it happens. At this point I'm just going to start reporting people for harassment when this comes up and ignoring a lot more people.

I'm pretty sure evasion just makes the centre leading reticule smaller and you can still hit somebody with over 100% evasion. I've hit my friend who I know has over 100% when he jousts me.

Hey this is Tomeateeje, just to clarify, Jaxin and I had been winning non-stop for hours straight so we were also trying to make the game harder, we didn't know about this records board at the time.

Played JTL for 4 years and I loved it, there was way more personalization in JTL, GSF has its advantages but it really needs freeflight and more personalization for me to truly love it.

The point is that where one side is dominant that side is stupidly dominant and the difference in skill is much more audible.

It bothered me at first and then I realized that it could also be part of a strategy to get me frustrated (After I heard somebody say "Yeah I bet he's pissed now" in chat about this.) I do whatever I can to not get frustrated and I'd advise you guys do the same, you fly better and you win more. Also, do yourself a favour and don't get stuck in a 2 minute turn fight. You're not contributing that much at that point and you're a sitting duck if somebody comes along and thinks its your time to die.

I don't know what it is, I fly both sides on Jung Ma and the stack I fly with just consistently wins, I'd say the actual "skilled player" margin is a lot smaller than people are thinking and we'll soon see a quantum shift of people who think they're great because they're winning everything(being carried mind you) vs the people who are just getting into the groove now and want to learn more. On the imp side I had 5 people ask me how to get better after I beat them. On the pub side I had 2 people accuse me of hacking. What is this indicative of? Not to say that pubs or imps are innately better at anything, I'm just saying that the people on the winning side who aren't actually doing the winning are going to get lazy and fail hard against the losing side who's seeking to improve.

For 4 hours straight today I was winning 1000-8 with the occasional game being slightly challenging, me and my friends ended up at one point saying "Hey lets let them get to 500 and see if they still win." They won once when we did that of 10. In 4 hours we lost twice, something about this matchmaking system seems broken.
