  1. Still doesnt tell me what the thing in front of me is targeting.... Spamming 1 button over and over and no one knowing is stupid too. Did switching my gear around help me take less damage? Oh, let me get my paper and pencil and jot down every number I see. I dont like 3/4 of my 34" monitor covered by this blue glowy stuff. I want to see the environment. That isnt a grouping system. I havent had one successful flashpoint from that thing. Its on EVERY review of the game. I assure you that my PC is more than capable of taking this game on.
  2. Without even a combat log, or any way to know you are improving, then this basically could be Angry Birds with a chat channel. Yes, people want features. Core mechanics that need to be there from the start and not tacked on as an afterthought (which, during design, if it wasnt intended will be poorly implemented or could cause OTHER issues). This game IS unique, which is why I do like it. But to be honest, it could be a single player game (and I would play it!). But right now I have no good way to communicate with my friends, no way to say I'm even decent at playing, and can blame everything on instant abilities not firing even though the animation is there. Thats not MMO material. That's single player console gaming.
  3. It's missing basic stuff that ANY mmo released these days should have from day 1. Step 1 - Finish the game. Step 2 - release it. Not vice versa.
  4. As of right now, this game is nowhere near finished. Not having very basic things like a combat log, target of target window, scaling UI, a grouping system, a way to add friends when they are offline (***??), and clunky combat system just kill the entire experience. How can ANY modern MMO not have simple stuff like this? I REALLY, REALLY wanted to like this game, but it's just not finished. The questing system, the way the map tells you a TON of information, the graphics, all of those things go to waste when some of the very basic things are either outright missing, have outdated mechanics or just don't work. I personally would have preferred that they wait another year and add in the rest of the stuff that should already be there. They may get around to it, but I hope it won't be too late. Until then : http://i42.tinypic.com/iykenr.png :(
  5. The point is, there is zero way to tell if someone is good at this game as it is. Why would having conveniences be troublesome?
  6. I do more dps than any max level char at level 10. Prove I don't.
  7. Crutch? Right now, I can press 1 over and over and over and no one knows the difference. Which crutch are you talking about?
  8. Really? I was looking for when they wanted to put this in, but I could find no mention of it. Are there plans for this? Without things like a combat log, what is the point of gear stats? How will I know that not pressing 1-2 repeatedly for 30 seconds is not my max damage? "As long as your are downing content" is not even a good answer. I assure you that since you won't actually need gear from the content you are completing (for what? no one can tell if you are just auto-attacking the entire time anyhow), what is the benefit of doing the content more than once? I can live with stupid stuff like not being able to add friends when they aren't online (hello, how the hell am I supposed to know when they come online if I CANT SEE THEM COME ONLINE), lack of profiles (I love setting up my UI 5 different times), and the lack of ability to change my specialization (why couldn't we choose this at level 1 instead of needing to repeat the exact same quests to play a tank this go round?). But without a combat log and metrics to kick the slackers/improve my damage/see *** just killed me in 3 hits, doing anything other than group-based pvp is pointless. Me - "Hey, does this build/armor set make me take less damage??" Everyone - "IDFK" There is a reason people put metrics on things. To improve. Either your group, yourself, or even someone else. I'm pretty disappointed (and kind of angry that I wasted $75 on a dud of a game) since the leveling and gameplay is actually VERY fun. Not being able to feel more powerful as you level up or get better gear is pretty much a game killer.
