Bioware flat out needs to add this option. This is unacceptable.

Not of my character, of the world. In WoW and most mmo's you can change the distance you can see out into the world, which increases performance greatly. In this game it seems to be missing.

Hello, I am having some framerate troubles in the game. Mostly it's when looking straight ahead in an open area. I drop to around 10 FPS even at times! I can't help but wonder why I can't change view distance. It would fix this and give me the 25-30 FPS I sort of need. Everything is already on low and shadows are off, though if I could decrease view distance I could probably get everything but shadows on medium...

Turned shadows off, it's now running at around 20-25 FPS, which is good enough for me. Thanks. Edit: Nevermind. I'm fighting flesh raiders and it's dropping again. Damn. How do I find and post system specs?

It's a laptop, but like I said, runs WoW and SCII fine. I don't think it should be giving me this poor framerate. How do I show my 'system specs'?

Is this a known issue? I just finished downloading the game, and with everything on low, I'm getting around 3 FPS. I can run SC2 and WoW just fine. What's wrong?
