Are my questions THAT stupid?

1. I read the flashpoint guide and they talk about marking. But don't say what the actual marks are. What are they. 2. How do you actually do a social ability. 3. How do you place marks, key wise?

Can you change the timezone on the forums? I didn't see it in the obvious place.

I posted another thread about where to find rubat crystals, I stupidly used mine up trying to get all the blueprints I could. Now that I want to craft some real stuff, I don't have any. Went back to Dromand to do it the hard way and While I found some rubat, I found more level 2 crystals than rubat. Really pissed me off. Before, I couldn't find anything else but rubat to save my life, now I can't find any. While reading some other threads to find out about how to find some more, I ran across someone who said I could find them through missions as well. So I sent off my android on rubat hunting. I changed the mission level back to 10-whatever. Went back to hunting and all of a sudden, I can find all the rubat I want. Coincidence?

I think I messed up. I am a synthweaver and right now, rubat crystals are vital. I gathered about 100 and I used them up crafting and RE. Now I have the blue items, and they still require rubat. I think I know the answer but is there any way to get more crystals, easily? Will increasing your arch skill yield more crystals per find, or is there a good place to find them? I should have concentrated on the armor I need, instead of trying to get a lot of blueprints.

I didn't see this directly addressed here or in the sticky. I apologized if I missed it. If I keep RE a green item I crafted and got a blue print for a blue item, can I still continue to RE the same item in the hopes of getting another (different) blue item, or is there only a one to one?

I have this "companion" I tried to look at an affection guide for him, but hes not listed. Does affection work with this guy?

I have just started reverse engineering. I have all low green skills. If I reverse engineer an item enough to get a blue item, will continuing to RE that item yield anything or do I now have to RE the blue item I craft to get a new blueprint?

so what happens when I push a skill to 400, my current cap?

Would it be better then to just change crew skills? I have a crapload of crystals I can't make anything with or do later crafting levels use them? Do I have to run up a skill to 400 (1st level) to get new crafting options, or do I buy new ones?

if I unlearn a crew skill, will it's progress be lost if I require it later? Can I some how in crese the rate of advancement other than by crafting, such as finding a bonus or buying one? Also, I bought a hard copy of the game, is it worth it to buy the addons, included in the digital download?

I currently have a sith socerer, with syntweave, arch, underworld. What would be a good second char to create to share the items and skills to complement? If I created a sith knight, would I get a different adventure and he could use the crystals i've gathered?

I have an alienware laptop. Dual core 4 GB and dual SLI GTX 8800. Running on all high settings. I have been sick or the last week, so I have been playing at all times. When I started on a low pop server, I never had any lag. About 40 max at peak. I moved to another server (standard). Everything is always fine when the pop is low (80 or below). When it goes up to 140+, it does what the OP said. During work hours, I never have a problem, but in the evening, the lagging starts. Seems to be a server load issue. My two cents.

Nope, didnt unparty until after death. His speech was purple. He made the group on the spot and i accepted. Is that creature a quest? I didn't notice his level, but I was 16 and he had companion, so he had to be within five levels of me.

I was adventuring on dormond kaas. Sith homeworld and a player walked up to me and asked me if I wanted to do "named". Named? I asked him what that was. He walked over to this very large (lizard-like) creature with 11000 hps. Uh, okay. We grouped, slayed the monster, and I didn't get anything. No exp, items or anything. I guess there is a party setting to horde the exp and items?

I just played Black talon. When I came back the creator didn't disband the party. I couldn't figure out how to drop out and the creator was not reading general due to spam. How do you drop out of a party on your own? Also, we went through the mission and rolled on all the items. One 'vet' seemed to get 80% of the rolls and I didn't get ANY items. Just incredibly bad luck????

Can I also go back to korriban and find resources? Or go to other planets? I just don't want to mess up any quests by leaving.

I have arrived on the planet after my training (forget it's name). I reported to Zash and she wants me to go on a mission. I still haven't completed the black talon mission. (skipped it). Can I go back to the space port and go back to Korriban to do that mission and search for resources at the sith academy?

Can you email between empire and republic players on the same server?
