  1. Im Sorry i think your confused. I dont want something for no effort. I put the effort in ALREADY to level thsee characters That is the whole point. I dont think bioware hates me personally. I never said anything of the sort. Another example of people assuming and twisting the words of others. It matters to me because i am a heavy roleplayer. Just because it doesnt matter to you personally doesnt mean other people are not affected. Just because you are happy to spend the hunderds of hours leveling characters to 50 again doesnt mean everyone else is. We have lives. On top of that if i have to go through the planets a 6th time i will probably get bored and not even bother. Like i said. The game has a large focus on family and relationshpis. Denying people the ability to make a one time change over because they happened to already expend the effort on other characters i believe is unfair. It makes me feel like i have wasted the time on those characters, and i have if i want a different race. Im just asking bioware to consider this and understand that this means a great deal to some of us. There is no balance issues and its obviously a very small percentage of us that would like this. People dont need to get nasty in this thread.
  2. Yes i have to admit i do find it kind of odd that Every character has the same last name/legacy. I think it should at least be Empire/Republic seperate. But then we couldnt have the transfer of abilities and races, which would suck
  3. I guess that depends on your reasons BravilRennd If you dont like empire races, storylines or abilities then legacy wont suck for you, you just wont be getting the stuff you dont like. Whereas you will be able to get equilent abiltities like force choke/force stasis on a commando if u lvl a JK For me its like this. out of 5 friends. Half of us love Empire, Half of us love Republic, so we each made characters on the other side to we can all enjoy it, hence why i have a lvl 49 assasin and a lvl 45 jedi knight. It makes me sad to know that i'll never be able to have a pureblood JK (and probably enjoy the character a lot more) unless i level the damn thing all over again. It really does make me sad
  4. I suppose most people dont really care what race their characters are, which is cool. I for one find that aspect very important, coming from a strong rping background I guess what im really trying to say is this. In the recent legacy system video, they talk about how star wars has a big 'family' and 'relationships' background, how its important and they want to reward players for leveling multiple characters and really build a a great background for everything. which is fantastic. All i am saying, is, that i think those people who have already put the time and effort into these characters should be given (as a show of good faith from the developers) a chance to fix their family tree races and relationships once so they may create the family tree they love and care about without having to spend 2+ months releveling. If so few people care, then maybe just grant them to the people that do care. Can it really hurt? Anyway thats just my opinion. I hope bioware considers it
  5. Might i add also that the legacy system is there to encourage people to play multiple characters. If we have already done this, why should we have to reroll lvl 30's and 40's we've put time and effort into. Especially when this was something they planned to have at launch, and the only reason it wasnt is because they pushed the release date forward under pressure so it wasnt a completed product yet.
  6. I understand what your both saying but from my point of view. If i have a lvl 50 sith pureblood warrior now. And im currently leveling a jedi sentinel which at the moment is lvl 45 and twilek and now i find out that it id waited till this patch and leveled her then i could have made her a sith pureblood instead of twilek..way cooler IMO. Instead of leveling her, i would have leveled my sage which i wanted as Miriluken anyway so 1.2 doesnt effect her. Now If i want what i originally could have had, id have to restart her, and leveling to 45 itakes a long time on my schedule with work and school eating my time and my sage which is lvl 10 is still level 10. Ive wasted 2 months of leveling because 1. This info wasnt provided at launch which means i couldnt plan. 2. The legacy system does not accommodate for older players in this way. I dont think 1 race change per current char is much to ask. Especially when there is such a huge Roleplaying community and people actually care about their race setups. Just remember, just because YOU dont care about what race your characters are, doesnt mean other people dont. Try to be open minded
  7. Edit: Perhaps i should have made the title 'Unfair' instead of punishing, i think thats more accurate So i wanted to draw attention to the fact that many players, including myself and 5 friends started playing star wars the week it came out. Every one of us has rolled at least 4 characters, with 3 of us rolling 5 to try out classes and experience the funnest to make our main With the legacy system update (and all of 1.2 - A part of the game that was intended for initial release until they got pushed to release the game earlier and thus did not include this part). You are telling all those people that have rolled 3-4 characters already and are past lvl 20. that they basically need to start all over again on some of those characters if they want to chose a different race etc. I myself have a one lvl 49 character and one 45 that will both be 50 by the time the patch comes out. I have a lvl 32 bounty hunter, a 27 warrior and 25 commando which if even the chance, i would most certainly change the races of (hell id change my two top lvls because there both twilek and cant here hoods ) I would very much like to see. a one time only race change given to all current characters lvl 10 or 20 and above. Available to use when we chose (so we can lvl up the races we want) Please dont punish older (if you can call them that) players that have been with you from the start to relevel characters they've already spent a decent amount of time on. A lot of us a job and school and just dont have the time to do this again. Thanks for reading please /sign if you agree
