I must refute your very first point sir. I have here very strong evidence that you can in fact outrun a Jedi provided you have the right amount of luck (aka the Force likes you). In the beginning of the Kotor comic series Zayne (an incompetent Jedi) fails time and time again to capture a con-man named Marn. It can be done!

I actually had a question about armor type for anyone who might know. Almost all social vanity orange items are listed as light armor. Does this mean that, no matter what mods I put into it it will always be light armor? Does it mean that it's armor type with adapt to whatever armor mod you give it? Explain!

People really care about that on RP servers? Yeah, I'd be pissed if I were running a d20 campaign and one of my players wanted to be named Hammerdong (its happened before)... but you know, you don't need to play with Hammerdong in an MMO. You can play with other people and ignore him.

And to be quite honest those games tried too hard to emulate D&D-like experiences. You know what was more fun and a better/healthier use of your time? Playing actual D&D. Preferring the retro experience in my gaming is something I take very seriously, but it doesn't mean I resent all the ways my favorite genres have evolved over the years. Some people just can't get over themselves.

The space combat isn't perfect, but I certainly have no clue why people hate it so much. This an MMORPG based on infantry combat... space combat is just extra vehicle dailies like most other MMOs. But hey, at least they are far more enjoyable than any of the vehicle **** Blizzard ever attempted.

New blood is better than people who think their hot **** after hitting max level and clearing easy content. THOSE are the people that kill MMOs. Not the "noobs" or the "hardcore".

Well I guess I never considered that TIE-fighters were the crappiest fighters in Star Wars history. No wonder Empire always gets boned in Battlefront II space battles.

Fair point... I guess its hard to make the argument of, "well the X-Wings didn't look like they had shields when they got blown up in Episode IV" when we're talking about a game set in EU where it is apparently established that the Rebel fighters DID have shields. That's the thing though. The REBELS had shields... and very few ships to equip those shields to. When I am on a mission to destroy 60 fighters it is odd that they all have deflector shields. Republic is wasting a lot of money imo.

I use CRT as my vent key so I accidentally turn music/sound/ambiance off all the time. Maybe you are doing the same thing? I really only recognize that music is even playing when the rare Kotor tracks start playing during certain parts of the story. EDIT: For clarity - CRT-(m/s/a) disables music/sound/ambiance.

I expect bombers to have them considering their importance/size/scarcity/overall bulkiness, but little fighters with shields just seems goofy to me. Well whatever, diverting power to blasters three shots them anyway so I guess they have small/cheap shields anyway.

Okay so this is incredibly nit-picky I know, but as far as I know fighters don't generally use deflector shields (and usually not hyperdrives either, though X-Wings did) yet once I got to the 2nd tier of starship missions all of a sudden EVERY DAMN FIGHTER has a deflector shield. What? I am confused. I thought they were incredibly expensive and too resource intensive for most fighters... so why does the entire fleet of fighters have them? Someone explain!

BH Act 1 spoiler: I just finished the Great Hunt and am sent to talk to Mandalore. I didn't notice my quest marker was pointing to my holocom and left out of the airlock. I walked around inside Mandalore's ship for awhile wondering where to go. Go back to ship and click on my holocom... a Mandalorian asks me who I am and says I can not dock there... but... I am already docked... in fact I was just walking around in your hanger. I... head explodes.
