Yeah i am not entirely sure the purpose of these. I mean you get an orange saber at 11. Drommund Kaas commendations are a dime a dozen. Why do i want an inferior saber/gun that doesn't level with me?

I really feel that they dropped the ball on this one. With a 5 million credit cost you have effectively limited the players who have it to a smaller percentage than the 20% you said have over 700,000 credits. While I am one of these players, I have no intention or wasting the credits on this. This would be no big deal if it truly were a mere convenience thing. However this is a Neutral GTN. Neutral. As in, this GTN is useless because 80% of the population has no interest in going to Nar Shadda to see that that upper 20% put in at high prices. They are going to go to the Fleet to see what the other "poor" folks put in. Think about this. I may not be able to convey this correctly. I have heard the phrase "when everyone gets it" thrown around. If in 3 months if 80% of the population of level 50's has not reached 15% of the credits needed then the odds are this feature is NOT for the masses. So the "rich" folks have access to a more or less worthless GTN. My suggestion is to either put an IMP/Pub GTN on the ships as well, add a N GTN kiosk to Fleet (no clue what you Pubs call it sorry), OR just convert everything to a N GTN. (I favor the latter) TL;DR Why buy a totally useless GTN for 5,000,000?

As far as it goes, you don't even need to send your companions out to make money. Pick a planet (outside of Drommund Kaas) and do what 'EVERYONE' else in the history of mmo's has had to do... FARM. You get mats at NO cost!!!! profit $$$$

Look let me ask, if not for legacy gold sinks how do you expect to get credits away from people? Some of us have multiple toons at 50. Some people have groups to run dailies with every day on all of their toons. (Stupid easy and stupid fast if everyone knows what to do) Some of these people have absolutely NO interest in a fat ashed boat for a mount or a crystal, purdy crystal from a vendor. It is people like that they worry about. The ones who do massive amounts of dailies "generating" credits legally and well within the game mechanics. I look at the GTN on the ship and think "too much for something that frivolous". Yes i can buy it, but WHY would I? And buying a race... Idk about most of you, but after about level 20 i don't see my toon's melon anymore so why spend credits on it? mailbox on ship? Yeah, you got me on that one, probably on the vendor as well. Bioware is at least TRYING to pull currency out and i respect how they are doing it.

I suggest dailies, the ones on Ilum. (for now) I imagine you can also go farm and sell archy crystals. No one sells in bulk on my server that i have noticed so you can get more per if you sell in stacks of 99. It is totally server dependent though.

I am sitting between 7-8 million spread out over multiple toons. I do as many dailies on my toons as i can stomach and i am leveling another toon to do even more dailies. I'll see about posting a SS if it is really necessary. I started playing post slicing nerf but i found slicing to be the best money maker in the game, as far as professions go. I didn't waste credits on mounts and i didn't buy any crystals. I really don't see anything i want to spend my credits on at this point.

I believe he can use VibroSwords? There is a vendor on Drommund Kaas that sells Vibroswords for commendations.
