marks pvp is very viable, you'd be very surprised to see how much dps you can do while moving if you unbind the "s" key from the "Move Backwards" command the amount of cc, burst, and 0 ability to heal compare us to hunter in wow yes the lack of mobility snipers have does not compare however

may i make some suggestions? why do you backpeddal? extremely inefficient way to move you can fire off spells from a wide angle while strafing on that note your positioning could use improvement as well, i often see you getting tunneled down in the middle for no reason you have important keys still unbound supressive fire evasion and shield probe? you still click these and many other spells for some reason i dont play lethality so i wont comment on the combat itself, just seems like the spec is countered by spam cleanse/purge/whatever

feel like were heavily dependent on gear, our survivability is very weak even with all of our utility we are extremely easy to tunnel down. just try to be the absolute hardest thing to catch up to or kill in the wz is the best advice anyone can give you

Used when target is incapacitated. Attempt to use spell many times when target is incapacitated. Nothing happens. Am I bugged or is this perfectly intended for PvP?

i can deliver around 9-10 damage with the opener, however the opportunity to get into place to deliver the damage rarely arises as anyone who isnt retarded tunnels snipers almost immediately. and no most of my team tunnels people in the middle too long for any peels to happen, welcome to solo que hutt ball. sniper def cd's dont do much when i come out of the ops opener with 20% hp. i debilitate, he mouses over and clicks escape and backpeddals over to me and clicks shiv. i press evasion, cool. now i have dots rolling on me i shield probe for that big 2-3k and then the inevitable happens. maybe a sniper offers more to the team? that doesnt stop me from being shut down, unless i know hes coming, im royally ****ed. and even then theres nothing i can do but shield probe and entrench and hope he tries to open. if i happen to gain the advantage, poof, hes gone, which is how their class is to be played i guess. snipers are forced to be cowardice vultures, why not give them the utility to do so? if i could roll from cover to cover when i slam the find cover key with the little green man crouching next to the sandbags, it wouldnt be so much of an issue. we would have the mobility that bioware built us. maybe if i went into crouch when i slammed the key with the force of a thousand thunder gods it wouldnt be an issue. maybe ill have a different attitude when / if they fix ability delay. just seems like we got the really short straw :shrug:

x class has it. why cant we? i know our burst is very nice but just seems like we lack a method of a solid opener, lvl 50 / valor rank 55 (w/o todays exploits) sniper here tired of my health bar exploding when an operative knows there isnt anything i can avoid him and no chance to stop him besides spamming suppressive fire or relying on bh's to do stealth scans... using escape w/o full resolve will also result in an exploded snipers health bar, i can cover-pulse, leg shot, flash bang, and diversion along with strafe kiting and insta's, but honestly if the operative/scoundrel wants me dead there isnt anything i can do in the long run besides run like a coward not even good stealth would be needed more like a camouflage/untargetable until we open. feel like it would close a big gap with snipers (besides the 100's of cover bugs/ability delays) anyway i know it will never happen, thats why when im full champ gear im rolling a scoundrel/op what do you other snipers think? would you trade a piece of utility for a stealth/camo effect? nb4 flashbang>explosive probe>ambush>ft
