Thanks for the feedback! Yeah I was just wondering if those 25 mods were viable for 55 HM's, I've just heard mixed reviews in terms of gearing required for them. The practicing on 50 SM OP's to get the tanking basics for my class down is also a great point. Cheers

Greetings, I've recently decided that I would like to give my Vanguard a go at tanking as I've really enjoyed the role in other MMO's but haven't given it a chance in SWTOR yet. I leveled up switching between tactics & assault mostly pvp'ing and just recently hit 55. The only tanking gear I have is some dusty old Tionese gear I set aside back around 1.2 just in case. I was just wondering if anyone had any pointers on the most efficient way to gear up for tanking without having a solid base of gear to tank HM's (i.e. will mods sold by the makeb planetary comm vendor w/ orange gear cut it? Or should I run as DPS til i collect enough comm's to purchase tanking gear?). Any additional general tips regarding tanking at end game would also be much appreciated! Thanks!
