  1. Could we see some titles that offer general military ranks for both Imperial and Republic factions? Each title unlock would have a version for both factions. Every character that unlocks the title would receive their factionally relevant version. Example: Faction Admiral Title Imperial Player : Imperial Admiral Wullf Yularen Republic Player : Republic Admiral Gial Ackbar The reason for adding Imperial or Republic to each title is so classes that receive story titles don't feel slighted when a mob of Majors or Captains show up. p.s. Minister should show up at some point this expansion cycle... Right Lorman?
  2. Have holidays coming up shortly so I'll be dusting off the starfighters and queuing on a more regular basis (now that DvL is over).
  3. If the characters were flagged with "not attracted to other species" and we were told at character creation that those flirt dialogue options wouldn't appear, I'd still play one. The flagging could remove the odd/awkward romance clipping that would show up if they treated them like humans. I'd rather have more species than being limited to humanoids because of romance options. The current romance system really only adds the occasional dialogue option and mail.
  4. Add a Galactic Command Quartermaster (vendor) that offers gear to the player based on their discipline. The armor items would be provided in exchange for command points. The items would have a much higher command point cost than random crates would, reflecting their on-demand nature. This would be rewarding less per command point than a crate but would allow the player to hyperfocus their gearing.
  5. I'd say at the very least add the missions as repeatable Heroic 4s available on the planetary and fleet heroic terminals. Retuning the macrobinocular and seeker droid heroics may not be possible at the moment but this would at least make finding others to run those missions a lot easier.
  6. The ship to fleet requisition transfer may be affected slightly, but tradable tokens should only be dealing with/offering ship requisition and spreading that requisition across all unlocked ships like current requisition items do. This means if you want to consolidate requisition to fleet (for speeding up a new ship unlock purchase or focusing on upgrading a specific ship) that service is still required. HuaRya's addition of locking the requisition token source to mastered ships is a great one. It'd make sure there is a certain level of investment and keep players from exploiting new player bonuses. This tradable requisition system could help players that want to transfer ship requisition to their alts and new players that want to buy additional requisition to speed up their 'gearing' phase. It will not help grow the population if tokens can't be sold either in person or through the GTN though. Gearing up alts is definitely a good QoL upgrade but it can't be limited to that or we'll just be changing the names of the mastered pilots/players that already exist. For alt/legacy gameplay they could add a legacy-bound fleet req reward, offering players the ability to fully unlock (all components and upgrade tiers) a specific ship on an alt's hangar but for example it'd costs something like 10-15,000 fleet requisition each. This would make the ship requisition method much slower overall for that type of player and hopefully keep the ship req tokens as a market item.
  7. The game mode's population is low and queues can be very lopsided so player requisition gains through participation can be very slow. A combination of issues push new players away but gating them behind requisition while they suffer through limited queue pops just accelerates their burnout, they'd feel like they aren't improving. Having a way for veteran players to gain something from their excess requisition while letting new players supplement their participation requisition would help improve the game mode's health/population overall. There should be a singular tradable requisition token that can be claimed from the character's hangar requisition totals. The daily/weekly tokens wouldn't provide enough of a supply and having one item would simplify the process. They could update the hangar's requisition conversion window so a veteran player could claim tradable requisition tokens based on the amount of ship requisition they wish to get rid of. Eventually having a proper set of rewards to dump requisition into would be nice but this would assist in improving the current population issues so the mode can get some additional dev attention.
  8. Add a new option to the hangar UI that allows GSF players with fully mastered ships to dump fleet or ship requisition and sell it via the GTN. This would allow new players to buy requisition with in-game credits. It could help newer players master their ships faster and offer an alternative solution to just grinding through matchmaking problems they run into. If a player is experiencing an endless number of losses, the grind will be pretty painful as their match requisition income is limited. Players with mastered ships get bonuses to requisition acquisition but don't really have much to spend it on once they've finished unlocking the ships and upgrades. There is still a need to improve the reward system but this would let players make some credits while hopefully helping to make this game mode a bit more accessible. The exchange rates of the Cartel Coin-based requisition transfer and this new sellable requisition token would need to be examined. It shouldn't break the Cartel transfer system but the sellable requisition token shouldn't feel like a high value item either or new players won't be able to afford it.
  9. Could the existing Shadow of Revan, event, and reputation droid customizations be extended to the new 4.x droid companions? Droids like the Personal Warbot and QO-77 would benefit from having access to the array of droid customizations that aren't HK-specific appearances. I prefer using stock HK or his themed customizations (Advanced Recon/Jungle) but would like to be able to use the other customizations on the generic droids. BH-7X (BBA Reputation Vendor) Czerka HK (CZ-198 Reputation Vendor) Dread Master HK-51 (CM) HK Hutt Military (Nar Shaddaa Nightlife event) Imperial Assault (SoR) Republic Assault (SoR) Selkath Droid (SoR) The imperial customization for Annihilator T4-1D (recently added to the Jawa Junk customization vendor) was appreciated. Thanks.
  10. The Usable By selector doesn't seem to have a point anymore and the GTN is missing a way to easily break down cartel item search results by their cartel rarity (bronze,silver,etc.).
  11. I'd never say otherwise. Suggestions are always just suggestions, bug fixes should always be priority. I can only report bugs so many times before I need to post something positive, even if it's just a suggestion for future improvement. I'd love to see requisition sinks that give players their actual ships as strongholds decorations. It might have to be restricted to mirroring the stronghold owner/character's customizations. It'd be a good step at least.
  12. I would suggest a match where there are two opposing flagships and each would provide superweapons for their forces to deploy. It'd be a variant of the huttball format but it'd require both teams to have an active offense and defense at all times. It'd be up to each team to choose and protect a "runner". Superweapon Mechanics: Each flagship could be defended by their team to prevent a superweapon strike being scored against them. Defensive kills would also give the flagship a unit of superweapon respawn energy. (The kill-energy exchange rate would need to be tested) The superweapons would normally respawn at a standard rate but defenses would allow them to do it faster. Each team would only be able to have one superweapon in play. Once the existing one is deployed, another would spawn after the flagship respawn indicator completely fills. Superweapons would need to be deployed, each superweapon would have an unstable core that will explode after a set period of time whether a player holds it or it's sitting at the spawn point. Victory Conditions: Defeat the opposition's flagship, depleting its 3 units of health with superweapon blasts. Power-ups: 1. Randomly spawn one flagship heal (1 unit of superweapon damage) around the center of the map after a successful flagship strike by either team. This power-up would need to be delivered like the superweapon. Could be deployed to AoE heal friendly units on offense. 2. Superweapon "runner" would have an additional ability to sacrifice the payload and eject it anywhere on the map, dealing a large AoE to all forces in that area after 3-4 seconds. This would also be the method of dropping the weapon at the enemy flagship. Just an idea anyhow.
  13. I'd like to see the option to tint the base model of all GSF ships, it would make them a bit more impressive in appearance. The existing paint job options would be the top layer of customization. The base tints could be purchased individually with fleet req or sold as a pack of multiple colours on the cartel market. A few colours I'd like to see : Dark Grey, Near-Black (Probably a heavy req cost + CM Purchase option), Purple, Maroon, Navy, White, Light Orange, Green. Also, If your character has a weapon tuning mod on their primary weapon, maybe that effect could be applied to the character's starfighter in some way. Another option would be to add a separate starfighter tuning system (with the same effects as the gear system) and sell them as new fleet requisition sinks/rewards.
  14. Please update the mailbox UI to display system-generated mail sender names in a colour that differentiates the trusted messages from player mail. This is a minor quality of life issue but the change could help keep new players from being confused by situations where player-created mail attempts to confuse or scam them.
  15. Some of these website bugs have been around for a while. The green initiated transfer alerts only show up on the Character Transfer page. Nothing shows up on the PTS Character Copy page after you hit start copy. The PTS Character Copy History doesn't show the proper list of transfers. I only receive the 2012 server merge transfers that occurred. The Character Transfer page history shows all transfer request results (Server Merges and PTS Copy Requests for me). I assume the Character Transfer history results should only be showing the merge/normal transfer requests and the PTS Copy history just the PTS requests so it's not information overload. The My Account navigation has both Character Transfer and PTS Character Copy selected when I navigate to the PTS Character Copy section. The character selection sorting functions (Name + Level column header links) don't work for either transfer system. They seem to shift the results but not in the expected ascending or descending order. The forum link on the PTS Character Copy page doesn't connect to a valid thread. This also exists on the copy verification page. The link to details on Character Transfer restrictions returns an error. (Running Win 7 + Firefox 44.0.2)
  16. The last patch changed daily and weekly mission XP gains. Not sure about individual match XP. http://www.swtor.com/patchnotes/1272015/game-update-4.0.3
  17. It should have the same filters and reporting functions that player names have. All systems will be abused at some point. Another way to extend the system with naming would be to build an in-game generator/quiz that asks the player questions about the droid or creature: origins, former owners, favourite activities, temperament, favourite place to sleep/recharge on your ship, etc. Once you finish the quiz it would return a few names, from a larger list of names which relate to the options you selected. They could choose one or start over for something different.
  18. I like it. Here's what I would do to extend the features of this unique stronghold. It could be something like a guild ship for a legacy. Easier to obtain but still something a little different than your usual planetary stronghold. Allow it to orbit most planets (Could make many players happy as it wouldn't be locked to one planet) Large data crystal cost to move (Giving you something to burn crystals on). Legacy-wide buff for planet. Hangar bay for your class ship.
  19. Maybe they could try a basic system to see what happens. Here is my suggestion for a stronghold guard system: Each stronghold or guild starship could have 1 guard captain placed within it. This npc would have an interactive outfit interface attached that would let the owner store the equipped armour ids. Every subordinate guard npc placed in the stronghold would mirror the captain's appearance. They could add subordinate guards of various species, each would just have the armour of the captain but they'd have an idle animation specific to their species. The guard captain and his subordinates would be new decorations, they wouldn't affect existing guard NPCs. If it performs okay maybe they could apply the same method of storing appearance to other NPCs. My Nar Shaddaa pirate stronghold would end up with a bunch of Trandoshan and Gamorreans enforcers under a Kaleesh captain.
  20. Extend the use of the legendary status to hide class titles of other players. Those who haven't achieved legendary status yet would just see the player name and legacy (if shown) and any non-story titles they might have active. An option to show them anyway could be added for players who don't care or require them for RP purposes. There are some important titles (Hand of Jadus, Emperor's Wrath, etc.) which weren't made available to players. It is assumed the developers thought they were too much of a spoiler for new players. With this spoiler flagging in place, they wouldn't be affected by class titles like that. Once they go through the stories they will see the titles like everyone else. Maybe then those removed titles could be added back into the class story.
  21. They could add a Dock with Station button to the planetary overview screens on the galaxy map. Travel Now could take you directly to the surface. Travel Now could be disabled temporarily if the planet requires a prerequisite story mission on the station. Example : Quesh It'd be a nice QoL update for those that like to use the ship to travel.
  22. My suggestion is drop the duration on rocket boost and make it into a regular mount toggle ability. It doesn't have knock off protection so it'll still be inferior to an actual mount. It'd also let those with bounty hunters have the cheap effect of actually flying around with their armor jet pack.
  23. Could we get an update that shows the influence on the crew skills window in stages. Each companion bar could have 3 stages to make the data easier to read. The colour of the bar and heart beside it could indicate a different stage of influence so it is possible to quickly gauge that companion's influence. Also could the companions could be sorted by their total influence in descending order, it'd quickly give us a better crew skills window. Example 0-25k (orange): The influence indicator would render the bar up to 25k influence in an orange colour. 25-75k (yellow): Same as above but in yellow and having a cap of 75k. 75k - 250k (green): The indicator would show the remaining amount after 75k up to 250k.
  24. The thread on reddit discussing new OATH authentication for SWTOR: https://www.reddit.com/r/swtor/comments/393s3j/new_mobile_security_key_uses_oath_two_factor/ Hope it helps.
  25. An interface theme colour toggle would be neat. - Imperial/Sith (Red-Grey-Black) - Hutt (Green-Grey-Bronze) - Republic (White-Blue-Gold) - Jedi (Brown-Tan-Beige) ... Just kidding It should be a user choice. For example, a player with a dark jedi character may prefer a darker interface to a preselected republic one.
