I think that scoundrels are definitely the kings of PvP.. however for PvE Commandos are very good at tank healing and with trauma probe they're also good AOE healers. With sage shields and commando's large heals/probes you tend to get sniped a lot as a scoundrel. So lower numbers.

Okay sooo.. I know we're all excited about the introduction of strongholds, but, I am a little concerned that there has been no mention of which crew skills will be able to craft alllllll the new furniture that is supposedly being added. I am wondering if it's going to be something like.. every crew skill can make SOMETHING.. so that no one crew skill is OP furniture making master. Or if it really will be like.. just cyber tech or w/e... >.>

 

Thoughts? Anyone know if they have mentioned this somewhere I have missed?

Yeah at the moment I'm really torn between merc and operative.. merc seems a bit clunky to me at times but their raw healing is much higher (at least at my level - like 20ish) than operatives...

I think that Harbinger has the highest consistent population.. I've been playing on it for a few weeks now and get fairrrly regular PvP pops through out the day and night. Also has a fair number of nice people - so that's a bonus

[Sage Healer - will I be miserable?]

I am considering making a sage healer for pvp.. which I've heard.. might not be the best idea.. but I wanted to hearrrr some details as to why it's so horrible before I write it off completely. I really like the style of sage healing - particularly at low levels.. but I don't know if I'd just be miserable in arenas / warzones at 55.

For healing, I'd recommend a Merc. The only realllllll learning curve is heat management but I mean... once you get that down it's pretty straight forward. Mercs are receiving some love next patch as well and just seem to be in a good place overall. Plus they are good healers at all levels, which I think is important when leveling through / for pvp.
