I'm a founder, I had to leave shortly after 2.3. I was in a progression guild. Took a hiatus due to real life. I've tanked/healed/dps'd all the content up until then and would love to get back into it.
The only problem is my raid times are now limited. I am available Wednesday/Saturday evenings and Sunday/Monday any time. Maybe Friday late night. But, I would not be available all nights the same week. It would be two nights a week.
I've tried to join a couple guilds from gen chat/watching the forums. The problem is, they all talk about raiding, but hardly do what they say. It's such a shot in the dark to either get in on that one position in their main group that's lacking that day, or aren't as advanced as they say they are.
I would love to find a progression position. I am committed, but because of a newborn baby, she takes main priority. I can do it twice a week, but I cannot put the time into it that I used to.
I know what I'm doing. I'm not an ignorant player. I take direction very well. I take criticism even better. i Just cannot commit to a hardcore progression position. But, when you have me, I am 140% there.
