I am not a BW employee or a troll. I am simply voicing my pleasure with the game. Over the years of most MMO's there is 1 theme the hardcore players play for and that is simply gear. That's it. I understand that there might be something going on right now in the game that is making it difficult for you to max out your characters. My main reason for this post is that I am not one of those players. I've gotten bored of endlessly grinding / world quests / raids/ pvp etc to max out a character. To what end? To simply repeat the exact same process at the next expansion. I've moved past that. I play SWTOR to enjoy the story and the actual game itself. I enjoy the space battles and would like to see some new ones added. There are other things I enjoy in this game that other MMO's do not offer. I'm a subscriber happily satisfied with the game who is not a gear junky chomping at the bit for the RNG to give me the thing I want to see. If that's what you want .. go to the casino. You might actually come out with something tangible in the real world to show for your impulse behaviour needs. I encourage everyone to find a different angle to find their enjoyment in the game instead of just that 1 criteria of how quickly you can gear up your toons. You will be much happier with the game experience.. just like I have. In the words of Obi Wan... ' Let go............

Dear BW, I have completely enjoyed the story thus far. Of all the MMO's I have played, I keep coming back to SWTOR because of the story element. Please continue and I will continue to become a subscriber. I appreciate your efforts to bring so many different game elements to the table to keep players involved. Overall game experience is superb. I am very interested in the 'long lost love followers' story lines being released. Please don't take too long to get them planned and rolled out. Dear Haters, Don't be haters. It's a game. You are here for enjoyment. If you are expecting everything in the game to fit your criteria, you will always be unhappy.

I agree with OP. I'm just not having any fun. The credits I make are going to repair bills and I am being tossed around like a rag doll. I am lvl 47 and have about 11K hp. Yet one swipe at me and I have take 800 hp per hit from Strong opponents. At that pace I have about 10 seconds to kill my target before I die. Some boss mobs in the PVE storyline are just incredibly tough for a marauder. I pop my cooldowns. Saberward, cloak of pain, etc and use force choke as a secondary interrupt when need be. I have a good rotation down but it's just a dps race to kill them before they kill me. I'm forced to use a tank pet and wait 3-4 seconds to try and ensure I don't pull aggro. I'm forced to stock up on medkits very often. I'm Cybertech and I have the best mods I can make or upgrade if they aren't better then some quest rewards. I also just don't feel powerfull. Just a paper doll.
