  1. I have had several good experiences as a healer and as a tank on Shadowlands and Jedi Covenant. I wish people chatted a bit more, but that seems to be a SWTOR problem in general. I think the improvements pointed out by others would be nice to have, but for now I am happy with it.
  2. Thanks, that was exactly what I wanted to know. For some reason I could not find it mentioned in the various articles posted to date.
  3. I have recently re-subbed to check out the new LFG tool. I had one very nice run of a low level FP, but in many instances I have sat for an hour in the queue (as a healer or tank) with no invitation. I am wondering if the problem is the queue or me. Specifically, do other activities prevent my queue from popping? Does going on a space mission take me out of the queue for the duration? What about grouping up for a heroic quest? Just want to make sure I'm not shooting myself in the foot while I wait.
  4. I'm on Nathema as well. Last night I was the only person on Corellia Republic side for hours. Haven't been able to do a heroic since Tatooine. Probably going to re-roll once I hit 50 until server transfers open up.
  5. This bug is still in the game. Did the quest last night. All companions naked.
  6. Since Corso doesn't run out of fire, I found the best strategy was to turn off his tanking abilities and have him straight ranged DPS. Made the fight a lot easier since the AOE was easy for me to dodge.
  7. Scrapper is the PvP spec. Many builds have been posted to the forum and rotations discussed. Use the Search tool.
  8. Come to Nathema, and you will understand. We have a Fleet pop of 23 at the high times. Belsavis and Hoth had no more than 5 people on the whole time I was leveling my Consular. I flag LFG every night for hours, and browse /who aggresively, but I haven't gotten a flashpoint since Athiss.
  9. The question is asked every few days. Search is your friend. For my money I went with the scoundrel. I am perfectly aware of the weaknesses but like the play style.
  10. Just did this at lvl 42 as a healer Sage. Tried with Nadia and Qyzen, my go to companion since Tython, but no luck. I skimmed the thread and Tharan was the best choice for me, as others have said.
  11. You can always come back later on. Many of them are 2-man if you outlevel it by 3-5 levels.
  12. I am questing on Taris as a Smuggler at the moment and have noticed this on several occasions. Wasn't sure if this was a Taris thing, a Smuggler thing or just being the second playthrough for me. The quest dialog says one thing and then repeats it slightly reworded later on in the conversation. One instance is the "brat brigade" NPC near the spaceport. He tells me "droids took our farm, go get it back" and I respond with a "so what?" comment. He follows up with the same thing in a slightly different way, like "we need you to go out to our farm, there's droids everywhere" as if the first round had never happened. This seems to happen most often when I attempt to refuse a quest mid-stream, not to be confused with the final "refuse quest" option at the end of the conversation. I did not notice this on my first play through as a Consular, who was more than eager to help just about everyone. One of the main reasons I chose a Smuggler was for the dialog, so it's pretty jarring. Anyone else getting the same thing? Am I doomed to hearing NPCs repeat themselves for the next 32 levels?
  13. Things I like about my Scoundrel: - shotgun blast sound/snimation to kill enemies is fun - can heal some heroics to get groups faster while questing - CC and stealth make it easy to solo I will admit the damage output feels a bit weak even without meters to prove it. Sometimes it is hard to get into melee range during flashpoints before the rest of the group has killed everything.
  14. The OP is correct. If you ignore the prerelease hype, it's not a huge deal, as others have pointed out. Edit: boy my post feels extraneous with all the replies that came in while I was typing mine
  15. My Bounty Hunter is perfectly happy to let the target slip out the back for a few extra credits. I racked up a good number of Lightside points this way. Later on I fell back a couple hundred Darkside points for actually killing a Sith bounty and taking some credits over the "promise" of a random hologram. My biggest problem with Mako is her cantina talk. She wants to whine about her parents, and I want her to stay focused on the business at hand. Always lose a few affection points this way.
