  1. Thanks for all the advice. I had been a shieldtech specialist and had been doing ok previously but that was when I was at lower level and running in boosted groups with others of similar level. Now doing it again at level 50. Having read your comments it is I think a combination of not having been pyrotech, being used to playing with others who hadn't been doing it all the time, and gearing. An sometimes being jumped by multiple people which I think would get me killed regardless. So have respecced and done a bit more researching into people's guides and will hopefully improve a bit. If not then I'll start that tetris MMO. Thanks folks. Enjoy shouting at each other on Ilum (been very angry chat out there!)
  2. As someone who likes doing bits of PVP here and there but who doesn't have a mouse with tons of buttons or enough spare time to spend ages doing theory on roles, what class tends to be the least likely to screw up? I have a level 50 powertech who I loved levelling but routinely get destroyed when I try PVP. I am levelling a sith assassin which I enjoy playing PVE but is that likely to be relatively quick to learn in PVP? I know that some have much more complex management of rotations and cooldowns than others. I realise I'm probably never going to consistently be MVP but would like to be able to not have my head handed to me on a plate all the time
  3. So I seem to have several thousand pairs of elegant loungewear tops and bottoms. was thinking of getting mako some matching gear but what hand/wrist/feet items would match with the elegant loungewear gear? would ideally be medium or adaptive. great big boots don't really go with the image!
  4. Thanks for all the good advice. I'll get myself out there.
  5. Hey folks. I've been playing the game for a little while finding out which type of AC I like best. Seem to have settled with my powertech and and am making my way up the levels. I'm looking at trying out PVP but am still only in the level 20s. Would it be too early to start doing the PVP stuff, or is the learning curve such that you will get plenty of beatings whatever level you are when you start? Thoughts appreciated.
