  1. Thank you so much for this information; I have been waiting for this for some time
  2. Crafters can change the appearance of orange items to regular items. There would need to be some restrictions, such as the underlying level of the orange item needs to equal or be greater than the regular item. The transformation would use resources as well which will increase in rarity and lvl as the base lvl of items increases. This would be a purely cosmetic change, so drop items will not be infringed upon. This kind of system will contribute to greater inter-game customization, which everyone likes, and diversity between players, which can never hurt. There should also be a way for better physical customization of characters (CC). (In this day and age I think CC should have same pretty detailed options for those that want them.) This could also be merged into the crew system somehow. This type of system solves two problems at once: it allows simplicity for those that want it (initial CC) and detailed customization for the others (in-game CC). This would increase socialization as well, since players would need to find someone to help them make changes. I think it would be cool if different physical aspects (more detailed facial features) would be first broken down into categories and then spread about the crew system -- either by crew skills or by companions -- so that you would need to find different players to work on different parts of the face. The CC skills should also be develop-able -- the more you CC the more variables you can control (or something like that). Changes could also cost resources, with certain changes costing rarer and higher lvl resources. And, again, this would solve multiple problems: it would create a demand for crew skills and fix the weak CC system. Anyways, these are some ways that we could all have fun with crew skills while not stepping on the toes of item drops (although I don't think that would happen anyways -- the people who like to do raids will do raids and the people who like to get items through player-to-player interaction will do so -- two mutually exclusive yet coexistent ways to get good items).Other ideas are welcome
  3. Implement this asap. It's a matter of integrity, considering thousands of people have bought this game based on your official videos, which feature HD graphics. And HD will improve things greatly.
  4. I'm tired of this forum Handle; is there a way to change it?
  5. If we stick to it, I think they will implement the HD graphics that we are seeing in the videos. Keep posting!
  6. Keep posting it. It will not get better unless the devs know there is a strong demand for it. I suggest everyone to open a new thread everyday on the issue. The technology exists; let's get it!
  7. So, there has been a dev comments on the future of the crew skills, which is encouraging. I hope they make the system a bit more viable and complex. If so, I can see myself playing for some time. But; I was watching the recent video for upcoming content and was surprised to see how nice the game looked. Unfortunately, that quality is unattainable. Are there plans to allow for HD graphics? I feel that it would improve my experience in the game, as well as many others, immensely. Please reply to this post if you agree.
  8. This is enough for me to subscribe for another month, but please do everything you can to change the system towards complexity and viability and not simplicity.
  9. What makes you think they have a plan? It seems a gimped system is exactly what they were going for and they pulled it off accurately...
  10. I really wanted to like this game and the first seven days I did, but after that I realized how pointless crew skills were and the game just became a quest grind, which I find immensely boring. I didn't play yesterday and logged in today and had the same feeling I get when I log into WoW, which I quit years ago...Part of me wants to stick with this game, thinking that the developers will loosen up a bit and allow players to have the freedom to choose their game experience -- a competent crew skill system would be a great start -- but I'm almost sure they will follow the WoW model of instances/pvp battle grounds/questing. Well,...it was a fun 20 hrs or so, which I think is worth 50 bucks or so. If anyone sees good things coming for this game, please post as I would like to keep playing -- I just need some kind of motivation beyond questing...
  11. I'll take your word for it. Thanks! You saved me from wasting a lot of time... REing drops for schematics is too good to be true, I guess. That's unfortunate as it would have opened up a lot of possibilities.
  12. When a blue drop (assault rifle) is REed, does in produce a schematic, which articulates in the inventory and not the crew skill window with a name different from the source drop? I'm asking this because I have been farming a certain blue drop for the RE schematic, and discovered a schematic in my inventory that is blue but has a completely different name from the drop I have been farming. I wondering if this is what I've been working for -- it's about 10 lvls above the drop -- or is it something else entirely. Thanks Murat
  13. Yeah -- I just found that out: after an hour or so more of REing, I derived the other two tier 1 schematics back to back. I'm now farming a low-level prototype drop in hopes of REing it into a nice schematic. I suppose this will take awhile.... Thanks for the feedback. though
  14. I am at lvl 12 and have spent about 10k credits RE the assault carbine and sonic rifle. The first time I RE these weapons I attained the critical prefix schematic. However, since then I haven't been able to derive any other prefixes from these base items. Am I doing something wrong or is this to be expected? TY-Murat
  15. I enjoy hunting with groups for the sake of just hunting/exploration/teamwork and perhaps some XP. This requires larg-ish areas with tough mobs, though. So does anyone know of a good area for this? Of course the areas are relative to player levels, so if you could add that, too, that would be great...Does anyone else do this kind of thing?
